Filling your Unicorn bottles

I use Unicorns for my personal use, and for others who request them.

I'm kind of curious as to how many of you fill them. I use ketchup/mustard bottle designs (opaque) that can be purchased at WalMart for $5 for a lot of 3.

I can fill 30-40 bottles in about 5 minutes.

Just an FYI. I don't use these for storage, only for filling unicorn bottles. The tip fits perfectly.

I just pour the liquid from my 120 ml glass bottles directly in the unicorn bottle (have to be slow with a full 120 ml though). However, I'm using the wide neck unicorn bottles.

I'm not that good LOL I would have it all over the counter.

I use syringes to fill the unicorn from my diy "bulk" mix bottles. Can fill in less than one minute, including shaking the juice in the main bottle.

This won't work as easy with high VG eJuice (80-100VG).

It does with the really large baster-types. I even use them for measuring vg out of the bottle now.

From a glass bottle I use the dropper but from a plastic bottle if you put the tip of the plastic bottle into the opening of your Unicorn bottle and squeeze the air from the Unicorn bottle into the plastic bottle and squeeze. Repeat until its full.

I've got some small metal funnels for this, but they're kind of cheap and clunky and don't sit properly in the bottle neck. Do you guys have a good source for buying the tiny perfume ones (you mean glass, btw?) and/or the large baster type syringes?

No, mine are the small plastic ones. I get them from a Chinese vendor on eBay, ten for $1.10. They even fit those narrow openings in unicorn bottles, love em!

I usually make my main juice in 500ml batches in a large glass bottle, and then I pour it into 4 ounce plastic squeezy bottles. It's easy to fill the unicorn bottles from those!

Yes, excellent idea! I have some of those, too. Mine have the red tops, Yorker tops, I think they're called - 250ml if I remember right.

They have the small plastic funnels at BCV for 79 cents I think. Throw a couple in if you're a little short on a flavor order to get the free shipping...

I just leave the syringe poked down in the cork thingy in the top of the bottle. Dirt can't get in and no washing every time.

I bent a pin and put it over the edge of the jug so the funnel doesn't create a air lock. I cut yorker caps I got from yaeliq long time ago and they work much faster to fill jugs than those little plastic funnels.

Different sized syringes, depending on quantity of the liquid. 1, 3, 5, 10, 20mL syringes. Each liquid has it's own. Flavors share a syringe, I just make sure it is free of the last flavor before dipping into next. And blunt needles. 18/16 for VG.

I haven't started making big batches yet. I've already bought squeeze bottles at walmart for this purpose. I got the red/yellow set (for ketchup/mustard), and four additional clear bottles of the same style. They didn't cost much at all.

If I dont like that method, the meat injector is a great idea.
