Mutation X V5

Just picked this up by chance at a local shop. I have the V4 and am a big fan. The V5 is definitely different. Not in a bad way but a different way. You can read about all the features like the twin hole vertical posts and removal posts for just deck building yadda yadda yadda. I like this RDA but I probably will never run anything but dual coils in it. Virtually no drip well so wicking is very different than the V4. Mainly just stuffed into the tiny recess under your coils. That being said, I threw together a stupid simple .25 dual build for kicks and it is a CLOUD PRODUCER. Flavor is pretty good nothing to write home about but it's good. This RDA really shines at producing thick vapor though for sure. Air flow, yeah, there's a ton. You can't shut off one side and leave the other one though (hence why I won't run a single in it, stick to the V4 for that). I won't know about much lower builds until after my fuchai 213 comes though. Currently using a vaporesso target 75 watter. It doesn't want to fire on low builds. All in all, I am pleased with this purchase. Probably going to run it in the .1-.2 range with duals and a fair amount of power to it. Update to come after my fuchai comes. I can learn about other wicking techniques and build strategy with this RDA. I would recommend it if you're into dripping and looking for a reasonably priced cloud machine.
What do other people say?

How often do you have to re-drip because of the juice well? I didn't get the v4 because of the bottom airflow, I was going to get the v5 until is saw that juice well.

To be honest I just tried it out and didn't use it more than 10 minutes of constant vape but I didnt refill it in that time though. The cap is snug as hell and there is nowhere I can see for juice to come out. That being said I'd imagine you can over drip with relative safety. Sorry I can't give a more detailed answer. I'm waiting for my new mod to really Use the v5

Dang! Sorry to hear that man! Let me guess, the juice well size?

Either way it's a horrible feeling when you get a shiny new RDA that leaves you with disappointment.

You know what that means? You need a redemption RDA.

Love my v4. Its great. Totally my go to. Its tough to build on. There is no where to place your wick but smashed under your coil which causes it to go dry very fast. No juice well which after use tonight (since my original claim of it being ok) gave my constant dry hits. Cracked the ceramic deck and had to swap it as my frustration mounted. So she be a gone. Just ordered what I had wanted to all along but cheaped out. Got an authentic velocity v2 coming. All will be well in the world

I think the mutation v5 would have been fine if the deck was velocity style with an actual juice well.

I have a velocity v2 clone and love it. You purchased quite a redemption atty. Enjoy it!

The juice well on the Troll v2 looks like a jacuzzi. You are going to be able to wick the heck out of those coils.

That is what I was thinking , 4mm coils and a huge wick , maybe get a good bit of hits from it before it dries out

ahh in fact I used mutation x v5 as well,it goes well,I think only the screw is not easy to use building on postless deck. But all postless deck did like that.Above all,I think mutation x v5 is great, and to be honest, better than troll v2
