Artisan vaping took money from tons of customers for the SUPER MAX mod and they are not shipping anything for 2 months now, they will not respond to emails, questions on facebook. They gave tons of excuses so no one would file a claim on paypal. They responded to any all questions, but once the 45 day limit expired for the customers to file a claim for refunds they completely stopped all communication with customers. Stay away from them, They gave one excuse after another and now it was they dont have the batteries needed to complete the mods. 2 months later no response. no updates and a bunch of pissed off customers.. Go look at the facebook page, see how many people are asking for refunds and mods and updates https://www.facebook.com/ArtisanVaping, They have resorted to blocking people on facebook that have asked for refunds, They have told customers they cant give refunds until they sell more mods, It sound like they spent all our money and dont have the money to complete the mods. Look them up on this forum, you will see they stopped posting anything or responding to anything since the beginning of August, and they a paying customer to the vaping underground for advertising, Smokie 901 did a review on the mod and acted like Artisan was a good company, I wonder if he knows what scum they are

Your the ONLY one so far that I've heard a complaint from... Artisan is a Great Company! I love my little box mods from them... You do understand it takes time to make these? It's not like they can pop them out in a few days like a DNA device? Many people have great success with Artisan, I am sorry you experience wasn't that good. Just because your unhappy doesn't give you the right to slam a company!!! Your 1 mad customer out of thousands of Satisfied Customers!!!!!

Your wrong, have you looked at the facebook page, seen all the complaints. The stopped all communication, they first said the were updating them to 80watts and thats why they didnt ship them out, then a month later they said they are nor shipping them because they have no batteries for them, So that makes noe sense. They were going to ship them but they decided to upgrade them, So why didnt they mention the batteries the first time around, Then after another month still no updates, no replies, no nothing, They have not posted one thing on the face book page since august 3rd.. What kind of business that promised to ship mods in January wont reply to any ones questions or comments, Normally companies post some kind of comments on the facebook page, look on this forum, same thing, they stopped posting and commenting on August 3rd, You want to stick your neck out for them, go ahead, but shit is about to hit the fan, you will see, Contact them yourself and prove me wrong

To be fair @VapinChevy, did you buy your mod or did he give it to you as a review piece? No disrespect intended, just a question.

Im not upset with you, I just think its completely wrong what they are doing to all of us that paid in full, They cant even tell us if we are even getting our mods, The face book page has 3 or 4 new customers daily asking what is going on and they have zero response, and the customers that asked for refunds get blocked. That says they are not on the up and up to me. I asked them what the heck is going on yesterday on the SUPERMAX question page that they started and they have yet to reply, You dont find it odd that they have not posted a single thing since august 3rd on this forum or facebook? I just think you should think twice before you stick your neck out and defend these guys, you may want to distance yourself from them.. This may be a community but they are not showing they they care about the customers that paid, I bet if I made a new email address and emailed them asking to buy a superMax they would respond,,

@617vapor You have a valid complaint, and I for one appreciate hearing it. I've read on here and seen MULTIPLE post of people warning of bad vendors from as little of juice purchases that went wrong. Post after Post on complaints on $30 purchase. Thin there is the complaints about not getting service from a China company that has a 12 hour time difference. Never seen people trying to squash their post. You have a purchase over $100, seems legit to me your concerns and I will keep watching your post for the response if you ever get one from them.

I used to see them @Artisan Vaping posting all the time here. Trying to push their SuperMax but now silence. I also looked at FB and it apears like it's been 5 weeks since they have posted or responded to anything there too. I'm not a customer but I can see how this would be concerning. I hope everything works out in the end. I was recently screwed by a company that took a pre-order and never delivered so I know the feeling.

That's too bad man.. I would just keep bothering them and flooding them with emails/phone calls - whatever you can do to annoy the shit out of them until they give a response.

I tried all that, the emails now get returned to sender. so they must have closed the email account, the number is not accepting calls, they are in Canada or I would have filed a theft report on them if they were in the united states. They are trash in the vaping community, I think they closed the account with this forum as well because I cant tag them anymore. Im sure facebook will be next to go offline, The sad part is they will probably do this again under a different name.. Thats the problem with this industry , everything in f*cking pre orders, What other industry do you know of that has so many pre orders on a regular basis. I hate that, we all bank roll these companies by doing that, They dont need to do any hard work, They put up a pre order for the next mod or atty and then we all pay 2-3 time more what it cost them to but it , so now they have enough cash to buy triple the inventory and they never had to do a thing to get that money . Its all over ebay now, Pre orders for every clone thats coming out now, Thats how screwed up it has gotten, Doing pre orders for clones . No point in doing a pre order for a clone, No shortages in clones,,, So remember that, If you do a pre order on a clone , you are paying for the seller to fund the shops inventory..

Thats why I don't do any pre-orders.. I never have.. It is quite annoying when I see VJ pimp a deal.. only to click the link and find out its a preorder - no thanks.. I have done a few co-ops with some respectable people but thats as far as I go.. and its nowhere near 200-300$ just in case it goes sour.

I think pre-orders are becoming more and more shady the more this industry grows, which really is a shame

@VapedCrusader I completely agree with you. Its becoming such the norm with these pre orders that scammers will put up pre orders on ebay and have little to no feedback and people will still buy the stuff because they are so used to buying anything vape related that way now. I tend to stay away from them . I did give Artisian my money up front because they had a website and I heard good things about them so I took a chance and now I am so regretting it. Oh yeah and the VJ pimpmg pre orders pisses me off as well, I hate it, He will post something saying "GOES LIVE" so I get all happy and think , WOW that item out already. Then it loads up and it a pre order. So annoying

LOL Exactly... and thats why I went into your thread in the first place - because i've always heard great things about Artisan and I know people in the past that have bought things from them.. but I've also seen companies like this totally screw people after awhile - it's a long con and they do great business for awhile to build up a customer base and following.. then when they have have enough to take a huge amount of cash from the community - they disappear.. ExhaleVapors is one that I can think of off the top of my head - their website still says 'closed for maintenance' - its been like 6 mo's lol. then I heard the 'owner' went and started another rip off site .. fuckin scumbags man..

Also - the 617 in your name- you from Mass?

Seems that way - all you have to do is go to their FB page and see the shit ton of complaints. They have been radio silent for over a month.. I would assume folks are being ripped off.. and if I'm wrong - why no updates from anyone from that company? No longer on VU.. they disappeared.

VU needs to come up with some sort of requirement for vendors to require "ripoff" insurance if they want to advertise on the site and have their wares pimped.

I know it's a lot to ask, but with all the scammers and assholes in the market, VU would be doing a real solid to their members if they came up with some sort of qualification or plan. This ain't a dig at vendors, but simply a way to make sure honest vendors get lots of customers and scamming ripoff vendors get the boot.

Yeah they do, the thing that pisses me off the most is Smokie did a review on the supermax basically pimping the thing for them, Im sure tons of customers pre ordered one due to that review. Then I posted on smokies youtube page what had happened , Smokie suggested that I contact Artisan this way, Which I did as you can see, But now the guy that says he loves this community so much has not said one fucking word about it . He is playing dumb. Then on mod envy a few weeks ago Tiger Tiger was vaping on a super max, some woman asked her in chat WTF is up with Artisan, She played dumb as well. I know for fact she is friends with them. The woman kept bugging her about it and they band her from the channel. So They can call out all venders who do shady shit but if they are friends with them they dont say shit..

Wow! When I saw the first post I couldn't figure this out. I have a local vape shop - Artisan Vapor Company That I buy from weekly.I have been really happy with their juice and in a pinch they have tanks , coils and supplies. They have a few shops and an online store and 2 facebook pages . After some detective work I see they are not the company under suspicion .One letter in the name really can make all the difference. Really glad it's not them. They have a vine ripened blackberry juice that has been my ADV for at least a year!

Whoa... @TygerTyger .. can you address this??

This is quite concerning... if a company is taking $ from the community with no communication for months .. this shouldn't be swept under the rug.. especially if you can get in contact with them or know more about the situation than the ones that have given their hard earned money to this place..

Nice sentiment, but not practical or reasonable to implement. After all, the same vendors who gets a complaint, typically also has customers who are delighted with their products and services. We've provided plenty of space here at VU for vapers to share their concerns and bad experiences with others. The admin team can't possibly have personal experience with every vendor out there (heck, I WISH I had that kind of vape budget!), so it comes down to hearsay, which won't win a court case, nor will it cause VU to blacklist a vendor from advertising. That would be unfair and give a handful of complainers (be they justified or simply disruptive) unreasonable power over people's businesses and livelihoods. Better to let the community have free open discussion. The truth will surface.

Easy there tiger. While I sympathize with your concerns, @617vapor, @SMOKIE and I can't personally get involved in every deal gone bad that happens in the vape community, and I'm sure you can understand that. Smokie's initial suggestion to you is absolutely valid.... try to contact the vendor. You did. To no avail. That bodes poorly for the vendor, obviously! However, just because Smokie and I expressed our favor for the device, doesn't make us the official ombudsmen for disputes between customers and @Artisan Vaping. That doesn't mean Smokie doesn't love this community, nor that he's playing dumb. It means he can't personally take up every issue everyone has with a vendor. Heaven knows he acts out of the goodness of his heart as a mediator in plenty of cases already.

As for myself, you're sadly misinformed. You say you "know for a fact that (I) am friends with them". I don't know what your source is, but you need to check it, and stop spreading misinformation. The extent of my interaction with @Artisan Vaping was gratefully accepting a device that was offered to me in order that I should try it and share my thoughts. To this day, I'm pleased with the device. It's well-made, performs nicely and is a pleasure to use. I am saddened to hear, however, that customer relations have been suffering. As for the banning, the moderators at Nova don't ban unless someone is being disruptive or abusive during a show. Was Artisan Vaping appearing on the show? No? Then it's really beyond the scope of what can be expected of the current hosts to demand we solve customers' personal issues -- during a live broadcast no less! -- between parties we have no control or authority over. It's a little like barging into a neighbor's extended family barbeque to complain about a malfunctioning lawnmower you bought because he said he liked his identical model. While he may completely sympathize with you, there's not a lot he can do about it, and it's not reasonable to put it on him especially at that inopportune time.

Furthermore, there's a vast difference between playing dumb and simply choosing not to comment rashly on a situation you're not fully up to speed on. Considering that was the first time I'd heard of issues with Artisan, I wasn't about to start shooting from the hip without any knowledge of the situation. Wrong time, wrong place.

Whoa... @TygerTyger .. can you address this??

@VapedCrusader , I have contacted the owner of @Artisan Vaping directly about this issue in general, and I hope to hear back from him soon. At this time, I have no knowledge of the problem other than what this thread has afforded me. My wish is that the issues can be addressed and solved, and that the reputation of this vendor can be salvaged. Time will tell.

Well stated. I guess the main concern was the possible banning of someone for bringing up an issue like this.. and I wasn't attending this show so I can't say what really happened.. I can certainly understand if someone is disruptive.. but bringing up an issue with a vendor should be encouraged, noted.. and then investigated until a later time when things can be appropriately addressed.

Thanks for sharing your side of things :)

I really hope Artisan comes clean and responds to the community .. these sort of issues are exactly why I don't deal with pre-orders anymore and I would assume others are starting to feel the same way.

Agreed on the first part..... I'll be watching for the response and let you all know what happens from here.

As for pre-orders, I have no trouble taking advantage of a pre-order from a reputable vendor. @VaporJoes and I share them if the deal is good enough. The thing with pre-orders is that it's a little like ordering from China: you need to expect a wait, and that's why you're getting a better price. However, you get a device earlier than it's available to most others, and you have the ease of having a domestic vendor to deal with should a problem arise. There are perks.

Oh of course you have to wait - and thats understandable.. I've done preorders in the past and done many coops that went without a hitch.. and some that have.. but all the issues or delays were well known and communicated (productions delays, shipping issues etc) .. and that's the main point i guess.. and the fact that the number of scammers in this industry are getting worse.. going a month with NO communication, avoiding emails, and blocking people from a FB page because they voice concerns is not what a well respected vendor should be doing..

everyone does and should appreciate the things you and @SMOKIE do for the community so i don't want you to think I was blaming or accusing you of anything - just wanted to hear both sides :)

@SMOKIE , So you are saying @Aetisian never had a advertisement add on this forum? I think you are wrong about that. They had a add . They were listed, also on the advertisement list that was linked to the website. They have since diapered. Im sure many other members will agree with that. . Im not trying to start trouble here. I am trying to get some answers. I tried to contact them every way possible. They have not responded once. Now when I try to email them the emails get returned. I ask you and @TygerTiger to go look at the facebook page, you will see it is much more than a handful of unhappy customers, Half the customers did not get a mod from the 1st round of pre orders and not one customer got a mod from the 2nd round of pre orders. They have not made one update or post in 2 months, The 1st round of mods were supposed to be shipped in the beginning of june, So if this not a scam you tell me what they are pulling, This is beyond poor customer service or poor communication. This is flat out ignoring all us and they continue o log into this forum to see the comments but do not respond.. They gave us a ton of excusing to keep any one from opening a paypal dispute after that 60day limit was up it looks like that is when they stopped all communication. I just find it kinda wrong that smokie is a well known and respected guy in this community and has know about this issue for over a month and has not addressed it util now. He did a review, How many of his subscribers saw his review and then got in on the pre order because of that review. Im not asking him to fix the situation But I do feel like something could have been said about this after he suggested that I contact artisan in this forum. After all his comments were " I am interested what they have to say" Thaynever said a word. I know I know already I am going to be looked at as the bad guy because I am disagreeing with Smokie . I just feel like since he made a video pimpimg that mod he should have said something after I posted on hs youtube page.. Still now he has said nothing but "they have never advertised with us" They did advertise with this forum..

We do not charge vendors for having a sub forum.

No they have never advertised with us, what vendors promote in their vendor sub forum is Not advertising with us. Advertising is the banner ads on top, bottom, and right side of the forum.

It's all about the money to some.... to others it's about the community and staying off cigs...
