I'll start this off by saying I absolutely love my Avocado 24. It's quickly become one of my favorite flavor tanks. My only complaint after a few months of use is one that many people have experienced. It has to do with the 510 peek insulator. It is really tiny and easily lost. In fact just google Avocado peek insulator and you'll see pages of people that have lost this stupid little piece and can't find a replacement. It's bad enough that they don't include a spare of such a tiny part that easily gets lost but to not have spare parts readily available for purchase is just inexcusable. I posed the same exact question to Geekvape and what I got was a snarky response from some ass hat named Calvin.

This fool is a customer service agent? What a condescending asshole. I guess Geekvape goes on the same list as Sigelei and Smok. SMFH! for the record I never asked for a free replacement just for a place that actually had them in stock. I did inquire as to why its not included as a spare part.

ditto on the avocado .. great flavor atty - does suk that they don't make replacement parts available, totally with you there.

If I had to contact them for replacements and could not get them I probably would have mentioned the 'why aren't spare parts for the peak (and the juice fill gasket) included ?' (since they are not available for purchase)

Don't blame them for making it small.
Blame yourself for loosing it.
Dude, no one is blaming them for that. I take full responsibility for losing the piece. The point is if you can't include a spare the least you could do is make sure replacement parts are available for purchase. That's their responsibility as a company. They as a company should also do a better job at training their CS agents. Snarky remarks from a CS agent are not appreciated by customers.

And worse he put it in writing so you can redirect it to someone in that company that gives a shit about their customers... customers, the people that fund that ass hat's paycheck every month.

Yeah, I thought his response was a little over the top and very condescending. My reply to him was less than cordial but up until that point I was nothing but nice and cordial to that jackass.

Not all people are suited for customer service, a few months on the production lines should set him straight.

But what exactly did you ask for? A way to buy the part or a way to get a free replacement?

I complained about it not being included as a spare part. I then asked where I could get it. He then sent me a link to a place that was sold out. So obviously I'm not the only fool that has lost this insulator if they're sold out. Lol. The part is like a $1.89 so the cost is no problem whatsoever.

Considering they have the same address as Geekvape's US HQ & they only sell Geekvape gear, I'm going to go out on a limb that they're not an external partner

I'm not 100% sure but I think that my Avocado24 came with an extra one.
Haven't checked the spares lately since I didn't misplace or break any parts yet.
Positive there was no spare. I had to bust open one of my sealed Vapocalypse ones to get another insulator.

Just a quick update. I sent Geekvape a copy of the response I got from that asshole that works for them. They assured me he was dealt with accordingly and have sent me out a new peek insulator. I even offered to pay for the insulator and they refused. While I was not happy with their initial response I am impressed that they corrected the situation. Good on you Geekvape.

That is awesome... I may even hit them up to say that I heard about their great service.. always nice to mention to a business when they do something nice.. let them know it's appreciated.
 
A little light on this story it is I Calvin 2 years later I think. This douchejack was harassing me for a lost part which btw we had already ordered this part but it comes from China so it takes 1 month at least. Which he had been told repeatedly as with a million other people that were patiently waiting and just asking nicely for updates. We have to keep at least a few insulators for people who got their peek insulator defective in the first place not washed it over the sink like a dumbass. But jack here is deserving over everyone who's asked way before him and is not and asshole off the bat. No I did not get fired I simply showed our previous emails that you were sending and that was it. You emailed me at least 5 times a day for the same answer bud and u still made this post. Yeah I went a little far with the email but come on man have some sense u lost something and I explained we did not have them, we had already ordered them, they will be for sale shortly, and we were gonna send you a free one anyways cuz ur such a pain in the ass. But I let you know I sent free parts to people who were nice and and out of warranty and blew assholes off like you because that is not how customer service should work! I'm out hopefully u see this dick.

Enlightened indeed, Calvin. A few things I'd like to point out though...

1) it only took a year and half to respond.

2) you resurrect an old thread about an issue that had already been resolved and had ended on a positive note.

3) as a company representative, you resort to name calling?

4) by resurrecting this thread you show how childish and vindictive you are. Are these pre-employment qualifications GeekVape seeks from their potential hires?

5) your spelling is horrendous considering there's a little something called spell check.

On a personal note. Up until I read your post, I was looking to purchase the Blitzen and possibly the Zeus rta's. They were actually #1 and #2 on my list. Well, they were just crossed off and will happily take my business elsewhere. Oh, and they were going to be my first Geek Vape products. So thank you for preventing me from making a grave mistake. :cheers:

Any product I've had or used by geekvape has been very well made. Rock solid. I like the there making off spins if certain successful RDAs they have done and making them even better. That's the way companies need to take that into consideration. Tsunami24 pro, peerless special edition. What a good idea

Indeed I have. I've got 3 Geek Vape atomizers of various flavors and if I have any issues with them and need customer support I will certainly be looking out for you. It would appear that you have an artificially elevated opinion of yourself and the services you provide. You must be one of those entitled snowflakes we hear so much about nowadays, who thinks the world rotates about himself. This might be a good time to remind you that without pain-in-the-ass customers like Deucesjack, you wouldn't have a fucking job. Sorry for the rant, but people like you just plain piss me off. Go back to work and do your job, and leave these necro-threads alone.

Definitely. And Stefan went to Vandyvape. One would argue he could have took something SOMETHING other than designs with him to Vandyvape.

I still think the pulse series is one hell of a atomizer couple.

I got a headache attempting to read this. Perhaps OP wasn’t able to understand Calvin’s “English”, which seems reasonable given the horrendous language and grammar. FFS use some punctuation man.
