Pet Safety - cleaning sink?

Hey there,
My cats hang out on my bathroom counter & sometimes in the sink. I rinse / clean my tanks in that sink. What is the best method to clean the sink, after some e-juice is dumped in, to keep my cats safe?
Thanks!

My normal work area is a tray that I keep in a shoebox when not in use. The cats run the house, so everything gets put away in order to keep them out of it. I don't have a portable sink for rinsing, LOL ;-) I also have an issue with leaky tanks, so I end up doing a good amount of cleaning in the sink. What I've been doing so far is when I'm done, I'll wash my hands with liquid Dial soap, and then use the soapy lather on my hands to wipe inside the sink, and rinse. I just worry sometimes that it's not removing all the residue. Would wiping the sink with a rubbing alcohol soaked cotton ball help? Or is that overkill?

I'm a bit paranoid about keeping my cat kids safe & have only been vaping for about 8 months. I appreciate all your experts advice! :)

Rinsing the sink in hot water is all that's needed.
