TFV8 Baby Beast question

Hey everyone, I just placed an order for the TFV8 baby beast. This is my first subohm tank in a few years, I only use MTL tanks since I quit smoking back in 2012. I wanted something a bit different for when I'm sitting at home for a bit more flavor and more vapor production without needing to rebuild (went back and forth a couple days and decided I just like the ease of popping a new coil in whenever it goes bad)

Anyone have any experience on the Baby Beast tank and juice recommendations? I seen the buy 2 get 1 sale for Northland Vapors but their juice is between 81-87 vg or so, would that be too thick for these coils? Would you suggest 70/30 or so? Is this tank ok to chain vape on?

I apologize for the long post, but I can't find much on this tank other than the typical YouTube reviews.

Thanks in advance!

I picked up a Baby Beast from a local shop today and so far I'm very satisfied with the tank. Yes I chain vape and it seems to keep up. No dry hits. All of the juice I've used on it so far has been 70/30, 80/20, or 90/10 in those ranges. No problems so far. Flavor is very good (on par with my Tsunami 24 RDA) and vapor production is good. It does drink juice.

I picked this tank up a few weeks ago, so far I'm loving it. I am looking for a US vendor with the RBA head, if anybody knows of one please feel
free to post. As for the tank, it came with a .4 ohm coil preinstalled which I'm currently vaping on and the flavor at 51 watts is wonderful. Also I am using 80/20 VG and the tank is holding up very well, I'm chain vaping and have yet to get a dry hit. It is definitely a juice guzzler though. kudos!

I have the regular size TFV8 and I've used both 70/30 and 80/20 juices in it without any issues. Well so far at least, I've only had it a few weeks tobe fair. And I agree about the juice guzzler part, mine burns through it like crazy haha. Overall it's a pretty bomb tank though.

really?? mine came with premade coil heads, one reading at .15 ohms and the other at .4 ohms. No RBA section, looks like I got the regular version and not the kit...FML

thanks buddy, I saw they had it there and sourcemore.com earlier this week but I've read various bad reviews from those particular vendors
I hope they didn't discontinue them here in the states, I'd be bummed out.
I actually contacted ecig about it a few days ago and they said they should have it soon, but you never know with certain companies.
I asked Aspen Valley Vapes about a particular item which is available on backorder and they'd told me it'd be in stock about a month and a half ago. Still on backorder.

I got the baby beast tank, and it is just that... a BEAST!!! I love it. I'm able to chain vape on it all day long. I've used 70vg/30pg and 80vg/20pg juices with no problem. Hope this helps.

I'm a new vapor and started with mtl and during the Christmas sale I bought the big baby beast and the G-Priv using pop clouds eliquid which is 70/30 and I'm loving it doesn't make me cough but gives me the throat hit and flavor I want! Very very happy with it and I'm a chain vaper had the same coil in since the 22nd about 300 puffs a day and no dry hits at 50 watts using the .15 coil

I've got both the baby beast and the big baby...both great tanks! You should try that e-liquid brand called One Hit Wonder. I'm vaping the mini muffin man right now that's an 80/20 blend, and it's amazing.

I know this post is a little old, but this is THE BEST US Seller of Smok RBA and Replacement Glass as well as the glass for the BBB (which doesn't come in the BB RBA kit.) I ordered the glass from here and it was tenderly packed- in a plastic baggie, then inserted in a molded styrofoam encasement, then packed w/packing peanuts and with my packing slip- a personalized "Thank You!!" I LOVE this place:

Happy Vaping!! :eek::cloud:

Not necessarily. If you order the AL85, doesn't come w/RBA. If you order the V8 Smok Stick, doesn't come RBA. The Q-Box doesn't come w/RBA. I could go on. Smok was either thinking and saw us spending more $ in the future or they weren't being consistent by offering the RBA in some kits and not in others. It just depends on how you got your set-up.

I really don't like the X-4 (it's more of MTL coil and goes fast!!
  • Recommended Wattage: 30W - 70W / Best 45W - 60W- Personally, I find that one tops out at 55. Make sure you're priming each of the wicking holes, the top of the coil, and then either dry hitting or let it sit for 5 mins. Also- that one is particularly bad with chain-vaping.
I like the T-8- I like this one between 55-75- longest last 2 weeks!!
  • Recommended Wattage: 50W - 110W / Best 60W - 80W-
Also, like Q-2 (I'm not a cloud chaser- and this one lasts a LONG time and really vapes well between 55 and 70!! I've also gotten this one to last 2 weeks
  • Recommended Wattage: 40W - 80W / Best 55W - 65W

I love my baby beast. My favorite coil is the T-8, the X-4 goes bad very fast and you have to keep the wattage low and I prefer it higher. Only thing I have noticed with it is that some juices cause the white rubber piece inside to "swell up" and it starts popping out and won't fit back in... after much research I found out that it was the particular juices I was using because it didn't happen all the time, just sometimes when I would try a new juice... so I went on ebay and ordered like 10 extras. Whenever it happens I just take the white rubber piece out, I wash it with soap and water and put it aside to dry and shrink back down and within 24 hours its back to how it was. It is very strange and I didn't believe it until I tried it just to see if it would work, but sure enough after I washed it and let it sit, it shrunk back down and fit in the top of the tank perfectly. Hope that helps!
