Efest luc blu6 owners, undercharging issues?

So I have just noticed that my luc blu6 is showing my batts at full charge but noticed my RX was not showing a full charge, so not really paying attention I never really noticed this until a few days ago. So I take what says 4.2 full on my blu out and put it in my luc4 it shows 4 volts and charges until it says 4.2....2 of my buddies has the same charger and have verified the same thing. I can't find my voltmeter so I just have the 2 chargers to work with....

Anyone have the blu and another charger to verify if yours is doing the same thing?

Disco.

Bumping it, anyone have this glorified POS having the same issues or is it just me and 2 of my buddies:)

I just purchased a BLU6 and came from an LUC V4. I tested mine out to see and here's what I found. On the BLU the battery will show 4.20V. Drop it in my LUC V4 and it shows 4.1V. Took the same battery and dropped in my Coilmaster 521 Tab and it shows 4.21V. Took my SX350J chip I have here waiting to go in a mod and hooked the battery up to it and it was showing 4.2V. I'm thinking maybe it's not the BLU under charging, rather the LUC V4 is overcharging.

Hmmmm interesting.. I just got the luc6 yesterday not the blu and it's showing 4.0 and charging to 4.2....

So I guess the luc4 and 6 are no Bueno..weird though my Rx after putting the batts out of my blu shows a gap in the meter like they aren't fully charged, I'm gonna have to get my VM I think it's buried in my shed:(

Have you checked the voltage of the individual cells when they're in the RX?

No, but I think the best test is going to be a voltmeter, it should be the deciding factor on what is doing what, it's nice out and I have two empty trashcans so maybe some early spring shed cleaning is in order anyway:)

I will report back my findings.

I am curious what the RX reads each cell at. I agree a volt meter check is probably the best thing to do. I'd like to compare your findings to mine. I'm 99% confident the SX chip is accurate and is basically like a stand alone volt meter.

Put it in the blu, shows full.....

Put it in my new luc6 I just got and also the luc4
Showing 4.02 in both.

Charged it:

Shows 4.2

And the voltmeter:

So I guess the blu is off and quite a bit in my book.... Reason I bought the luc6 I love you can charge in the car and the Bluetooth is just pointless. But shit now I have 3 chargers and have no need for the blu!!!! My buddies are getting the same result pretty much, although they don't have a voltmeter they have a cheaper charger that just goes green when at 4.2, they take it off the blu throw it in the cheapy and it goes red for a while until it reaches what I would think is 4.2......

So yea no idea what's up with it and not really anything I can do about it:(

Just kinda annoying!!!

Being a little annoyed with this kind of stuff comes with the territory. Hahaha. It beats spending an hour trying to update a mods firmware because of good ole Windows 10. I'm OCD so it will get to me now and again, but I think for mine anyway, I'm not gonna worry too much. Thanks for busting out your multimeter though.

Yea I was wondering for a while too why my batts seemed a little weak I mean .2 is actually quite a bit if 3.7 is considered time to charge... But oh well I have 2 good ones that work fine:)

Does make you wonder though how many are like mine and how many peeps don't notice...took me a while and I'm pretty OCD also, AND I found my meter in my first pile so I didn't even clean my shed, damn I was lazy as fuck today now that I think about it:)

Researching chargers and was debating the Blu6. Saw this post and am reconsidering. Just wondering if the above testers had the OLED or LCD version?
