Fake Nautilus Mini Alert
Picked these up from Coecig in China. Real on the left, fake on the right. $14 for the fake ex works. Several dollars more for the real.
Look at packaging. The picture of the mini on the right looks like it's been poorly chopped and pasted. Notice the different shade of black around the tank on the right. On the back, the Aspire sticker is different. Fake uses the old style Aspire sticker. Real uses a hologram sticker. Fonts are also off.
With regards to the tank itself, at the very least the finish is different. The real tank has a matte finish, fake has a polished finish.
The coils are also different. The one on the right, the mesh is not as fine and it looks like it was stuffed down there. The one on the left is a finer mesh and has a better fit.
So looks like there are both fake kits and fake coils.

Did you try the authentication code? if so what reply did you get?

I have try the fake nautilus mini, i have just the same as kai chen get, the plastic box and so on with all the one he mention above. personally ,it was ok to me , that was before i found out it is a fake unit, funny thing its the serial even say it authentic when checked on aspirecig.com, and now i have a aspire premium kit which i bought directly from aspire. The taste was much much better than the clone. Price its not much diffrent, ori u could get at $36 and clone maybe at $25.

All this information on fake Nautilus mini has my attention. As a vendor, we always have purchased and confirmed licensed distributors in China or straight to buy from manufacturer. Call it a crazy, but decided to try a small supplier. Received the order and now questioning ourselves if the naut mini's are fake. I will post pictures this evening and I am still questioning what I got. I have had 2 employees look. one says fake and the other says, definitely different. lol...

All aspire mini come with a paperbox inside n the new 3d silver colour sticker, not thebold golden one as far as i know. Heck, even the base look diffrent,

i bought a fake nautilus mini from fastech.. i knew it was fake.. you can clearly see the construction difference.. it is in no way a 1:1.. whatever not a biggy to me bought it as a backup.. but I will say the coils it comes with are complete crap.. I put some juice in it and when i fired it let out the worst smelling nose burning smoke... But as soon as I replaced the coil with a real BVC coil the thing worked fine.. but build quality is def not as nice as the real thing.

Question. Does the fake tank fit authentic coil?

I got a fake Mini, from a major cigalike and e-liquid seller. The box looks exactly like the pictures. I did not scratch the code off, because this was a 2nd Mini, and I knew what the real looks like.

It should be able to use the real coils just fine. It would seem a large distributor bought a boat load of these, thinking they would sail through.

I almost fell for this on ebay because this seller had great feedback and all feedback for the nautilus mini said that it was 100% authentic! Likely they checked the code on aspire's site and it indeed did check out! UGH! I always know there's a risk for non-authentic on ebay, that's why i do my research. I appreciate the post. Thanks!

I wonder if the seller knows he's selling clones? Probably, since he's the lowest price right now. I wonder if ebay will remove his listing or force him to edit his listing to reflect that it is not authentic if i bring it to their attention.

Hello I am new to using the nautilus tank. A youtube video is what made me check my box and my husband's box. Both boxes have a the gold sticker on the back, but when I scratched the serial codes the were the exact same. Then I came across this forum. We got our tanks a week ago. Do I tell the vape shop I bought the tanks from that they sold us a fake? I have never bought anything and then find out that it could be a fake. Plus I don't want to do in a store full of customers. Mine and my husband's tank has given us nothing but problems. His burns coils like crazy, which I think may have something to do with him having a Hana mod. My tank leaks and I get a mouth full of fluid. The shop replaced my husband's tank for him because the first day he bought it broke so he is on a replacement tank. I feel like I have to draw really hard off my tank in order to get any vape from it. I have the Mvp 2.0 Shine. Which is real thank goodness, I just checked my serial code on their website and all was good with that. But as far as the tank goes I am not sure what to do. I don't want to make the people at the vape shop mad or upset.

Have you compared the inside of your coils to the one pictured above?

Just my own opinion however. I would be taking them back for a full refund or a verifiable authentic. Most likely you spent as much as an authentic would have cost, you should demand and get what you paid for. I would not worry about them getting upset or mad.

the cardboad in the box, and the size of the little screen gaps on coil......the pictures in the OP
are near perfect for identifying.

If it leaks..... its more or less fake.
I have not even have a had a hint of leak.

the holigram sticker is newer, after the launch, I have tow that are authentic that only had the gold sticker.

to make that Aspire in the cardboard, its needs a good sized press. The fuzzy is fake

I did take it back. I was told you can never be sure if it a real tank. I was pissed. Today while I was at school I noticed what looked to be a hairline like crack in the tank. So I went to one of the vape shops near campus to have them look at the tank. I took the tank off my MVP and hand it to the guy, he got ready to take it apart and it shattered in his hand. So needless to say I ended up buying a new tank. I bought the kangertech genitank. So far I like it. And it is way better than that nock off nautilus tank.
So when I got home I called the shop I bought the nautilus from and told them about the tank breaking and they blames the guy at the other store I went to. Then proceeded to tell me if I brought the tank in they would replace it for half off what I paid for the first nock off nautilus. I like the stores juices, but I never buy another tank from them again.

IMO This is a stupid move buy a Vender. If he knows he is selling fakes then He does not deserve to be in Business. If he did not know he should not have a problem issuing Refunds. In the long run Good Customer Service makes for more Profit then Cheating or Poor Customer Service=standing Behind Your Products. Lets face it Some Venders in this Industry Just want to Cash In Quick. They are not likely to Be involved in Supporting Vapers Rights Advocacy. Also I would not even Think about buying a Battery or E Liquid from this type of Vender.

So the gold looking ribbon sticker is the fake? Mine looks like the box with the oval sticker. Looks like 3d.
