Was having trouble finding something new to try so I ordered the SMOK TF-RTA.
Put it on the Pioneer4You IPV6X.
0.14ohm Clapton Wire Coil Preinstalled 2mm ID
This is the G4 QUAD coil.
Ignore that the CM 521 displays 0.05Ω, it is actually 0.15 once on the mod.
I have to admit I was a bit surprised with the flavor on this.
As time permits I'll probably do a full review over here;
http://vapingunderground.com/blogs/paratech-vape-hardware.15/
Didn't see any threads for this RTA and after testing it I figured someone may miss out on a decent RTA if no one mentioned it.

With the cap installed. 20161022_230141.jpg
It is NOT 0.05Ω, however the CM 521 reads whatever it wants when it feels like it.
Good thing I don't rely on the Ω reader in it.

I hate fuzzies......

Is the deck interchangeable with the velocity style deck? Or are they totally separate?

Really good question.
I have over 70 tanks but only a few RDA/RTA/RDTA.
So far nothing I have would be interchangeable with it.

Smok makes more than one TF-RTA with a number to represent the number of posts I think. I was wondering if the decks were interchangeable.

Thanks for the review (I checked it out when I got home from work) and the replies. I'll probably check out the G2 someday as it is often on sale. Don't know if the quad coil G4 is for me, but it's good to know the build quality is there on the TF-RTAs.

I have one but it leaked badly. And not from my wicking but from where the deck screws into the tank right above the airflow. Just google smok tf rta leaking and you will see. Just a heads up with that tank. Wish it worked out cause it was a great vape.

Sorry that yours leaked.
I can see the potential of this happening due to that is the juice flow control and if when they press fit it together if it wasn't tight enough if would indeed leak.
If they pressed it too tight it wouldn't turn.

However I have to say I am impressed even more with this RTA today than I was 2 days ago.
The flavor just seems to continue to get better and better the more I use this thing.

When I ordered it I wasn't sure what one I wanted (even though most of us know I'll get both) so I simply chose the G4 simply because I didn't have anything quite like it.
The G2 is simply a standard velocity style and I have those.
They are the style of my choice but I needed to check this out.

Between the airflow and juice flow being properly adjusted presenting me with an amazing full flavored vape and the design, I'm just happy as hell with this RTA.
The fact that I can quickly pull the G4 out and swap it with the G2 or a different G4 makes it that much better.
I'm pretty happy with it.
For a simple $14.00 at code3vapor, I find it hard to go wrong.

14 bucks is tempting. Wondering what's the difference between it and the rba deck on the tfv8

With the TFV8 you have two choices;
V8 RBA-16
V8-RBA
IF I were to get either of those it'd definitely be the V8-RBA-16 due to the velocity style.

I think the V8-RBA-16 and G2 for TF-RTA would be closest match.

As far as differences, have a look;

G2 for TF-RTA

G4 for TF-RTA

Since I don't have the V8-RBA-16 I'll add it to my next order and let you know my thoughts.
In the meantime you should try out the TF-RTA.
Sound fair?

The tf rta was my first 25 mm rta had a griffin 22 first. I didn't like it at all sold it to my buddy and bought the herkales rta 4 . It took some getting used to BC all the airflow it has but now its my daily driver until my obs engine gets here on its slow boat ride from china. Im glad you like your g4 looks like a pia to build wick.

Check out the Herakles RTA-2
(airflow and wick holes are "supposed" to be the only difference)
I'm liking the -2.
Not tried the 4.

the OBS will also be in my next order.

The G4 really isn't as difficult as it looks.
Snug but there's room due to the way the coils hit the screws.
One up and one down.
Didn't think I'd care for that but doesn't seem as bad as I thought.

It does. I'll have to see if they still have them. I just ordered another alien kit and a gold supreme and some misc stuff. I'll never be close to your collection though. I'm on an rta kick lately. Think I like them more then rdas now lol

Yeah I've managed to get myself on an RTA and RDTA kick.
The Wismec Inde DUO shocked me with flavor that I didn't know could be produced.
or maybe I just build amazingly.
haha

If I could get that out of any of my tanks or RDTAs I'd never leave my desk.
