Yeah, I'm going, but I know it will be a juicefest. Hoping to see some hardware. Last year when I attended, could not even find coils for the sub tank I had back then. Maybe they might have some starter kits for the newb I'm going with. We will see...

Anyone got suggestions on
Good places to stay (prefer Motels)
Places to eat (prefer not to get sick)
Places to see and hang out (other than the Expo)

Marcus, there are both good hotels and good food in Old Town Scottsdale.

As far as seeing things, what are you into?

I'll be going to work at the Expo with my new girlfriend.
What would you suggest for a coupe that are "dating", to do the night before the event?

I think the Vapor Dynasty website has accurate info on where to stay and eat close by to the Arizona Event Center.

That is a pretty shitty part of the valley. I drove past the place the other day. It's an abandoned shopping center in a lower income neighborhood. I wouldn't stay near the place.

Dating?....well Marcus, they have good shows at the Talking Stick Casino off highway 101 north in Scottsdale, about 15-20 minutes from the event....damn nice casino and hotel with FINE dining and massive pools with pool side waiter service. It's fairly new, just opened the hotel-restaurants a couple years ago. It's a great place to hang out on a weekend evening. If your into playing blackjack, I do damn well there, seems like the odds aren't always stacked against us. I made a couple grand on a Friday night about a month ago.

I might go there Saturday, never been to a vape event before. I'm not really into blazing hip-hop or rap muzax. If that's the atmosphere, I won't stay long.

So,,,,,,,,
What is your suggestion for a good/clean motel under a hundred a night, in or near Scottsdale?

There is a Holiday Inn and Days Hotel less than a mile away. VD website has discount codes and you can book a room directly from the site.

I'd be very cautious of those hotels, that is a rough part of town. Put it this way, I wouldn't stay at either one, I'd sleep in my car first. You need to find something away from Mesa....Chandler, Gilbert, Scottsdale are good choices.
