Changing ejuice in a Baby Beast

I simply love my SMOK Alien that came with the Baby Beast tank. Great device, albeit one issue - changing liquids.

I came across a liquid that I hated and the tank was full. Because of airflow and suction, I couldn't just twist the top cap and pour it out and if I unscrew any part of it, it spills all over the place when the glass becomes disengaged from the washers.

Any suggestions on how to change liquids without having to do it over a sink?

PS: I know it's a de facto practive change coils when changing liquids but this TFV8-T8 coil is a champ in avoiding flavor-mixing. I dismantle, wash everything (except the coil, of course), dab the coil with paper towel, reasseble, fill, then fire it 3-4 times for 3 seconds per at 70W - old flavor's gone).

I don't mean to sound ungrateful and I definitely appreciate your responses, but...
Sorry forget that part. you can do it over a towel or rag lol
but without dumping the tank the only other option is a syringe

In the future, you could just prime the coil with any untried juice and taste test it. But like they said, there is no easy way to drain it. That kinda irked me, as well, but only for a minute.

Got something to work without getting juice all over my hands. Open the top cap (you can't unscrew it if the juice is above the screw line or the juice will spill) and stick a toothpick in the tiny fill slot while tipping it. The toothpick creates air and the juice runs out along the toothpick (like putting a twig at the end of a worm coil on a still). Toss the toothpick afterwards. Mess-free changing.

Where are you dumping when you drain that way if not the sink? If that's working by all means stick with it. For a change in flavor that's similar, a syringe with a blunt tip needle of at least 15 gauge will handle higher VG juices without much hassle. It is a pretty small volume to extract with a Baby Beast, ~2 ml.

On the ground or over a trash can. If I can pour it out cleanly, then it doesn't get all slippery and I don't end up dropping pieces or spending the next 20 minutes cleaning up.

With this method, I can easily pour it all out before I disassemble the tank to wipe the inside of the glass and blot the outside of the coil for fresh juice. I've learned to do all that while standing now with totally dry hands and kit.

I keep my Alien and a small bottle of juice in my jacket pocket so I don't have to carry around extra gear. I imagine I can make things less complicated if I get some sort of travel case and keep it in the car or something.

I don't have to do this often as I usually vape the tank dry or refill with the same juice. But every now and then I'll get some from a local vendor that's like inhaling a forest fire and need to purge immediately. :)

UPDATE:

Well, friends and associates, this is why they call us "beginners". I went to a local vape shop and revealed my predicament, but before I could give my solution, the guy there was like, "Why don't you just do this?" Deer in headlights moment.

Rather than go around the block to get across the street, he recommended (and showed me) how I can do it similar to how I do my Triton 2: remove the tank from the mod (which is what I was trying to avoid), turn it upside down, and remove the base from the coil head while the tank is still intact being sure to keep pressure on the glass to the the top cap so it doesn't come off and create said mess. Now the entire thing can be poured out on the spot.

That would be the best bet, instead of filling up the tank, prime the coils and put everything together. You should be able to get a vape or 2 off of it to see if you like it. If you dont then you can fill the tank with whatever juice you are comfortable with and vape out any of that other juice within a couple puffs before the new juice takes hold in the cotton.

Yes. Totally learned that after the fact. Some other forum scared me into thinking that the tank needed to be full past the cotton level to get the most flavor.

Know it's a little old but might help someone in the future me and my wife both have beast she the baby and I the cloud and encountered that problem then I thought just take the white seal out the actual hole in the top is bigger than the seal and the juice flows right out...

Removing the base from the coil works best for me too as it's nearly impossible to get the liquid out through the top of this tank.
