Local pharmacy VG

Besides price, is there a difference between the bulk VG from vape DIY online shop and what glycerin can be bought in a pharmacy or skin care area of a local shop? (USP and no other ingredients of course!)

Just want to know if I can use a locally bought glycerin to dilute a juice that is nice but overpowering in flavor to me. I wouldn't mind if the nicotine is lower or even halved at all. I just have very acute olfactory and gustatory senses.

My wife and I have been using VG, for that reason, from Walmart for a year. We're still alive. I've read that some brands have a faint flavor or sweetness to them, but ours is completely tasteless.

I do the same thing,I get a menthol juice, ZigZag brand and it only comes in 10 ml. at 18 mg. so I cut it by adding 30 ml. of pure V.G. and it works great!....Z

As long as it has USP/EP/JP cert., comes in a sealed container and has exp. date it should be fine, it's just that the small bottles you get at the pharmacy cost more, a lot more.

I don't mind the price. I just want to be able to drive down the street and get some to try before I go buying gallons of the stuff.

Do you use the Humco? Do I need to heat it or let it sit after mixing the VG with the juice? It is pretty damn thick...

Yes, Humco. I just shake the heck out of it. I figure it's mixed well enough when I can no longer see the swirls in the juice. But if you aren't using a glass bottle, you may not know I mean, lol. Just give it a good shake when you mix it, and another after a few hours, or the next morning.

And how much you add will depend on how strong the flavor of your juice is, more than nic content. At least that's how I do it. I usually end up between 20 to 30% added vg.
