You would like that pork roast better, if you smoked it for 6-8 hours, let it cool and pull it, mix with Sweet Baby Ray's Hickory and Brown sugar in a crock pot.
That's pretty much exact what I do with my ribs, I haven't tried it to roast yet though.

You probably do the rib slabs I bet.

I only cook country style spare ribs. I don't piddle with those ribs with so little meat on them.

We like Wolf chili as well. I've never tried Skyline, but guess I will now.
In the restaurants, they offer
3 way - noodles, chili and cheese
4 way - noodles, chili, cheese and onions or beans
5 way - all of the above.
It's not your typical chili. It's kind of sweet, which might sound gross, but it's yum. Not at all traditional, but I love it. I order a side of sour cream with mine, then they give you a little bowl of oyster crackers. Many groceries do offer the canned plain chili to top off a pile of spaghetti noodles. It's almost as good.

Add tabasco and you're set.

There's also a way to eat Skyline Chili. Don't get all twirly with it, you push down the HUGE PILE OF CHEESE on top, then cut across the middle with your fork (they don't bring you a knife, you can ask for one), then corner off a small section, then cut smaller sections from that. Place a cracker on top of smaller section, lift with fork. I dab my fork in the sour cream before doing this. PERFECT bite right there!

We have it at work so I'll get a can soon and try it. BTW, It sounds a lot like the way they offer chili at Steak & Shake Love their chili mac.

So long as you don't expect a traditional chili taste. That's where people decide they don't like it. Online recipes show it to have worcestershire and even chocolate in it. I believe it does, based on the taste alone, but who knows? It's just some good stuff, Cincinnati Chili!

I've been up about a half hour and you people are starving me to death. Now I want ribs and chili for breakfast. We have no ribs or chili emojis so here's this...:pizza:
Good morning Teresa. Sounds like you need to get to a Steak & Shake or something similar.

They're up the road next to Walmart, but seriously doubt they're open yet. Lol! Never been there, not even sure that's on their menu.

They have chili served several different ways along with great burgers and breakfast. I'm shocked they're not open as most of them are 24/7.

Don't know for sure, but I don't think they are here. I'll have to look that up.
Wouldn't matter if they were today though, we ended up with around 5" of snow last night so my happy butt is staying right here in the house. Ha!

Not this morning, I'm afraid. Woke up to about 5" of snow, think I'll put that little trip off. ;)

Yeah, I generally try and stick with the slabs. The country spare ribs usually get used in a stew or with beans.

Meh. Columbus wasn't a saint.

But teachers should not be presenting their political opinions as historical facts. They should be teaching history, period.

Ribs in stew?

That's just WRONG dude...... Blasphemy I say!
Hahaha!!! Bone and all, for a nice long summer and the meat just falls off . the bones give it nothing but flavor and are easy pull out when serving.
Kind of like a hambone. When I do beans I get a hambone from the butcher and use that with sausage.

Stews are not something we really make much of.

But I do the same making home made chicken noodle soup. Stew a whole chicken, pull the meat and skin off and add home made noodles and carrots/onions/spices.

This time of year with the cold, we make Shepard's pie. Don't know if it is table fair down south, but we eat it a few times a month here.

Mashed potatoes, corn, cheese and hamburger, done in a cake pan.

I do the same for chicken noodle. I make a lot of chicken tortilla soup also, with all white smoked fajita chicken.
Shepard's pie was pretty big in the South, I haven't made it yet up here though. Now that Christmas and thanksgiving are over and the leftovers are done, I'm finally trying to think of a good menu

Holiday food and the leftovers are the best food. A shame we can't eat that way through the whole year. I suppose we could, but we'd all be bigger than Santa.
Dollar per pound hand and turkey are really cheap.

Okay I ordered two sony batteries imr 18650 2600 mah and they subbed out a joyetech icr 18650 2200mah. Is the Joyetech a good battery? I never used one. It is a pretty blue color. I facebooked the vendor with my displeasure.

P.s. They never told me they were subbing. I was shocked when I opened the package. I asked them are they planning on going out of business due to this action.

I would NOT accept them. They are re-wrapped batteries.

You paid for Sony, you should get Sony.

I did get one sony batt that was in a box. The Joyetech was just thrown into the bag. I'm really disappointed in this vendor. It was my third order. I was ordering picos from them.

EDit: This post is to clarify my previous statement.

Any vendor that pulls that, should be marked off your list of trusted vendors.

No vendor worth a shit would pull that.

Food for thought-
I am old enough to remember when Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom came on television every Sunday night, when you had to get up and change the channel on the television, when food was reheated in the oven not a microwave, when Journey’s lead singer was Steve Perry, when gasoline was under $1.00 per gallon, when kids played outside instead of video games, when you broke up with your boyfriend/girlfriend in person, when no one had a cell phone, when kids got spankings for doing wrong, when Bo and Luke Duke drove the General Lee, when television actually signed off at midnight, I have listened to vinyl records, 8 tracks, cassettes, and CD’s. I will leave it at that and you can figure it out…..I am sure there are others who remember these things…we call it back in the day. What a great life!
