Try cranking it up 10-20 watts at a time until you get a good vape.

Thanks helped out a lot , recommend what watt I should use it at ?
Hard to tell you that. Just keep turning it up a little bit at a time until you hit the spot YOU like. Remember though, more power needs more air flow to cool the coil. If you don't allow for more air, you will get a dry hit, when the cotton inside your coil burns.
Clouds= Higher power, higher air flow, higher VG to PG ratio. (coils with more surface area make better clouds)
Flavor= Lower power, Lower air flow, short atomizer (with a concave top is best), and more complex coils (such as claptons that have twists to trap more ejuice)

Hey I've tryed starting at a low wattage and moving up it's not working, and once I go higher the coils start to pop corn the juice into my mouth , I don't think the coils are working properly the coils don't even heat up for some reason :(

What wire/coils are you using? What jooze
Pg/VG?

They are heating up, or you wouldn't be getting popping juice. They aren't gonna glow red once they are juiced.
Did you pulse the coils and remove the hotspots before wicking?

I'm not to sure to b honest. all I know about it is this
Just for you...
How to tune a coil.. NOTE! If you are using metal pliers or tweezers, do NOT fire the coil while you squeeze it. I used pliers for the video. Picking up some $3 teflon or ceramic tweezers makes this a lot easier. You can get them at fasttech. (or vape shops, hobby shops, etc)

No complaining about the cam. LOL. It's $3 off ebay.

And just in case you want to see how coils are made (in case you want to have a go at it...), I did these videos for new vapers. Hence the title..

Single or dual coils?
Coils not heating and juice is still popping? That sounds like a hot leg. Is the wick brown or burnt on the edges, near the posts? Try tightening down the post screws and making sure the coil is firmly in place and has good contact.

Alex stay away from fancy coils, don't get caught up with fused claptons, aliens, twisted staggered blah blah!!
Start with regular micro/macro coils, like what others stated...

You can do 5 wraps on those twisted exploding in ur mouth coils.. open airflow on the sides...
yeah try 2.5 ID coils do a 4/5 wraps try that, and use a high VG jooze, those coils likes to POP boom, tick, shit in ur mouth...

It looks pretty beefy. I would try to keep it around 3.7-4.2v and put it on hard mode if it's available on your mod to speed up the ramp up time.

I'd say for a NOOB, YES! don't throw em away, put em aside you gonna need them in the future, it's all good bro, this shit happened to me too....

Stick with basic coils for now... EBAY is a great resource...
And start making your own coils...you will need the following.....
Coil jig
Wires from EBAY/LIGHTNINGVAPES /amazon
Wire Cutters, trimmers, nail cutter OK too..
Ohm checker
Always use married batteries... rated 20amps
Like I said, don't get caught up with fancy coils your not there yet...
Be safe out there
And watch ytub vids there's TONS of resources out there
GOODLUCK alex practice bro, you can do diz!

try 175W
http://www.steam-engine.org/coil.asp?p=roundmulti&s=dp&r=0.165&hfnw=175&str=2&awg=24&id=2.5
if i recreated your coil correctly.
In the photo, is that a slight burn mark on the leg at the top left of the photo? Tightening the screws down probably fix it anway.

You can use steamengine to prebuild your coils, and check them on your mod until you get an ohm reader.
The little screwdriver that came with your RDA is actually 2.25mm so you can use that to wrap coils on until you get a jig. A set of $1 drill bits from the dollar store works too.

Steam engine can also tell you how much power you need to run coils, just enter the coil information in the correct fields, and check the heat flux box (where it says xxx watts)

slightly better flavor, but mostly to reduce your resistance so you can get more wire on a build. Usually, twisted are a part of another coil, like a tiger coil or something.
Keep things simple to start. A simple, staple or parallel staple coil works. And a simple, single core clapton is pretty easy too. Just takes practice. Go at your own rate, and don't get discouraged. There is a reason I buy wire by the 250' spools. LOL Big hands, small wires..

The coils you have are 'ok', not great, but ok. Kind of the poor mans flavor coil. In other words, slightly better than a straight coil, but not as good as a single core clapton.
Check that link I posted earlier. Just some simple videos for coil building as easy and simple and cheap as I could make it. LOL.. I have a coil jig but deliberately used the screw driver.

By the way, if / when you decide to try making that simple 1 core clapton, don't use more than 9 inches of core wire. Build 1 coil at a time, its much easier to work with.

I tend to avoid ebay. I don't trust the vendors when it comes to vaping stuff. I mean seriously, when they recommend a 3000Mah 45A battery for vaping? *no such thing* They don't exist in the 'real world'.
fasttech is good and I like kidneypuncher for wires and such.
and only buy SONY, SAMSUNG, LG batteries. Even regulated mods can have mishaps, like if the safety chip fails or the 510 connector breaks and shorts.

@AlexDTA and don't worry, you will get lots of help here. Building coils is nothing to be scared of or intimidated by. Only the first one. After you had done one, you end up asking yourself "That is it? That's all there is to it?" and then you start adding up the money you spent on pre-made coils... *sigh*...

Actually... since those are twisted.. you could always remove them from the deck, take 2 wraps off each coil, and put them back on, and re-wick with cotton. Provided you have some cotton. I prefer cotton bacon. No peeling outer layers or stuff to mess with. Just pull a strip off, roll it in your palm, twist the end and feed it through. Any problems, let us know, I'll add another video to that coil building thread.

OH, By the way.. did tightening the coils help with the popping?

Buy good round or flat ribbon Kanthal A1 here. They also offer nichrome & stainless steel for later on, once you get competent in crafting "plain old kanthal" coils, if you even decided upon using the other. I find Kanthal does just fine for me. I do use Clapton a little bit but I get that already on a spool as Clapton wire then, craft my coil/s. You might want to use Steam Engine as a guide to building coils. You'll also need a good volt meter to check your resistance on the coils before you fire them up in an rda/rta/clearo on a mod. To help wind out consistent coils you will probably need a jig kit as well. Check out plenty of youtube videos on building coils, do not be afraid to ask questions here. All of us start somewhere.

ETA: I am not a FastTech sales person. I am merely a happy customer passing on what they see as good values for products FastTech sells. No commissions for me either. I represent none that I link to in any manner aside from being a happy customer. :)

I tryed turning the wattage up higher and popping stoped but no flavor just gross flavor . And yes it did help but the middle peace got turned to the side to

You might be able to tighten that middle (positive) post if there is a screw on the bottom of the atomizer. Not to tight, the posts can break sometimes. Or you can just give the post a bit of a turn back with your needle nosed pliers.
Ok so I am watching a vid on that RDA...
Looks like you can open or close 3 layers of air flow holes? Open the bottom row full and put the holes right in front of your coils. Make sure there is no wick under or behind the coil, you want air to come up and around them. Close off all other air holes, use a small bore drip tip, if you have one. Turn wattage down and work your way up. The vape will be warmer but less cloud, and more and better flavor. My 2 favorite RDAs for flavor are Tsunami and TwistedMesses. In that order. Shorter chimneys tend to give better flavor, taller tend to give bigger cloud.
If you find the vape still tasting gross, remove the wick, give the coils a couple dry fires to burn off the gunk, put in a new wick and prime well. Clean the top part of the tank with a tissue if you wish. (May as well look for hot legs when you dry fire the coils and fix those if there are any)

Finding your "perfect vape" is a personal thing for you, but we can try to help fix what is wrong, until you figure out what is right. :)

I'd try pulling the wick out and see if the coils are glowing from the inside out.
Sounds like a hot leg issue.
