Is there a better top out there besides the stock? Maybe one that you could use your own 510 drip tip?

I was able to find the replacement metal top cap and bought a few for my tanks. I can't believe Tobeco used plastic! I bought the ss and the black and can use any drip tip. Actually, they have 2 versions; a 510 compatible and a one piece. I'll try to remember where I got them. I'll check how many I have if I can't find them. I probably have another 3 of each color. I won't use them all.

I found them. I got mine from Vape Street but they're sold out.
Eciggity has them for $5.00 each.
Fasttechh has colored acrylic caps now.

That's one of the first things I checked. Coils screwed in tight and the o rings are in place, still the same result. What do you mean there is no way it can leak? Of course it can....

I think the problem is the top fill. There is no way to shut off the air while taking the top off and filling. You lose vacuum and it floods the coils and leaks out the base/airflow holes. Anyways...doesn't really matter anymore. For $20 I'm not gonna worry too much, it will go into the pile of never to be used again equipment and I will patiently wait for the Freemax Starre Pro.
I had the exact same problem and thought it was because I didn't screw in the coil tight enough. I'm no expert with vaping and I'm still relatively new but what I discovered was I actually had the o rings or at least one of them flipped and while it still seemed to fit and screwed together fine, as soon as I flipped it problem solved. I know I'm a little late to comment on your question but I just went through the same issue and didn't know if it could possibly help you or somebody else. Absolutely loving the tank

Right now I'm using Tobeco's own 0.3 ohm SS notch coil in TC, and it's working great. I did pick up one of those new Vaporesso EUC coils with the sleeve but haven't had a chance to try them yet. I do like having so many factory coil options as it's one of my only non-RTA. For an inexpensive tank, it's a real winner.

Anyone tried Dotmod Petri coils yet in these or similar tanks? I think they are SS coils 0.5 ohm. The Petri itself got nice reviews but a bit long on bling and price but short on e liquid capacity for my liking.

What is the coil compatibility for the Super Tank? I see that it'll take Atlantis coils, does that mean it will also accept Melo coils? Any others?

Seems like the Herakles coil design would have allowed for more coil choices. If the Super Tank coils are as good as everyone is saying I won't have a need for any others, just wondering.
If you look in the coil section of forum there is an atlantis thread that lists tanks and coils that work.
I just got the Super Tank KS and overall I like it.

I love my super tank. Started out with the mini but quickly graduated to the super for more juice capacity. I use it on my Sigelei 150. Just ordered a rainbow super tank and should be here by Friday. Here's my setup.

Recently bought a pack of the .3ohm notch coils and love them.

I just bought mine today. A little leak issue but I suspect that was my error in not screwing it back together properly when I installed the premade coils (I am getting the CoilMaster DIY kit this week I hope) but the flavor is intense even with a single coil as I have it setup. Bought mine for $25 bucks at the local vape shop. I am getting the AMMIT RTA next to learn to build my stuff on, but this Tobecco SuperTank 25 is very nice!

Has anyone figured out a good settings for the .15ohm Ni200 on TC? I just got this tank and wanted to do TC to conserve coils. Right now at around 40 puffs, I have it set at 460F and 55w.

IMG_20171104_215426.jpg The worst thing you can do is let the coil get dry. Most newer vapors don't know that. This coil is 8 months old. Works fantastic.

Very true. Coil maintenance is part of vaping.

To have and maintain good vaping experience:

Safety first!

Know your equipment and it's limits (battery limits) coil limits.

Maintenance, this is the most important part of vaping. If it started off vaping great, to keep it vaping great keep it pretty, and take care of it.

If you drop your mod check your coils. This has saved me b so much time.

Get mods with solid 510 connections. I love how wismec works. This has been an issue with me. Mod makers need to take this into heavy consideration. I will not spend money on an otherwise kick ass set up. It will shit out on.

Hope this helps.

I am still using the same Super Tank that I was using when I posted on the first page of this thread on June 28 2015.
I've used it every single day since then and have never changed a seal. The coils I liked best were the Aspire Triton Claptons at 30.2W.
When I ordered 2 more boxes of coils I decided to try the Vaporesso cCell Ceramic Coils.
I can only vouch for the .9 ohm kanthal. At 22W these things are AMAZING !!!
The flavor, the clean taste, the clouds and all at lower wattage (longer battery life)
If you own a Super Tank you really must try these.

Tip; Submerge the coil in juice for 20 minutes before using it.

I've been using my Super Mini Tanks since I started vaping. The owner of the shop said that ALL of his employees wound up getting them since they are so reliable. Never a leak out of mine. I haven't purchased the 24 but mistakenly purchased the NANO. I need a Kanger SubVod battery to go with that rainbow tank. Anyone have a spare Kanger SubVod battery they're not using? A couple a' bucks and postage? Won't give up my Super Tanks. BTW, Playboy coils work with them.

Ohhh. I have the regular coils for the Atlantis. Hmmm. I didn't know out of the 18 boxes I have, most are 1.0 Ω. Perhaps for my sister at some point? Well, she gets an Atlantis and coils for Christmas.

Thank you, Hellcatrydr. I'm going to shop for SS. At least I won't have to do TC for those.

Yikes, my typing was atrocious last night. I glass of wine too many. lol

You don't have to but they do work in TC with a good mod. I prefer wattage mode too though.

One caveat... There are more counterfeits than you can imagine for sale. So don't shop by price... or on fleabay.
Buy these from an authorized Aspire reseller only. The genuines cost about ~13 - $14 for a 5-pak. Less $ are prolly knock-offs.

Look for the ones that say All New Filament on the box. They come in .3 and .4 ohm.

Thanks! My boxes are identical to these except for the lower verbiage. And on the side is the resistance. Maybe just a few for now since I have so many!

FastTech has many styles and colors to choose from.

If you are looking for a US seller, KanVape has a good selection of Super Tank accessories.
