Best tank I've had for flavor

Jason Commerford

Member For 4 Years
I upgraded my Herakles v1's and Crown V1's with Smok Baby Beasts and Big Baby Beasts. Also, since Uwell finally figured out how to make a decent coil, the Crown Se1 and Crown 2 with the new "Crown 2" coils will be the tank to beat for flavor for tanks with premade coils. The myuwell site has great deals on the tank and coils right now.

Will these new coils for the Uwell Crown fit the original? Mine has just been sitting on the self ever since I bought it when it first came out. Flavor was pathetic and it leaked like a sieve.

The new Uwell "Crown 2" coils will fit just the Crown 2 and Se1 tank. I still have 5 packs of Crown V1 coils I need to use, so I have the original Crown on 2 of my mods, but they are the Ni200 coils I use in TC mode. When they are gone, I will stick to the Smok Baby Beast, Big Baby Beast, and Crown 2.

I have the 25mm Super RTA by Tobeco (I've had sooooo many tanks, I'm talking 100 plus tanks)

This Super tank with some fused Claptons it wicks perfect, never leaks, very nice juice flow control, it spins all the way around, the flavor is amazing.

I love this tank, it's kinda funny, this little cheap tank is one of the best and a lot of reviewers missed the boat on this one for sure.

Sit here vaping it with a smile on my face ;)

I'm still enjoying my original crown with the .25 coils. Dam good flavor and coils are lasting about 2 1/2 weeks if I'm not vaping really sweet juices. I'm still testing the uwell se1. Coils are lasting over 2 weeks and it's a very smooth flavorful vape. Just gotta make sure you buy uwell coils directly from them. Been lazy here lately because I haven't felt like rebuilding and refilling constantly. I'm usually an rta guy carrying a Mage or Merlin mini.

I was looking at the Mage GTA, I like single coil RTA's, I mean your big ass framed fused claptons that are way too low in dual config......I am yet to find one that can accommodate this, it's a mssive gap in the market, something like the Pharaoh deck but an RTA.

The only one I hold any hope for is the Ammit RTA which I have heard is coming out in a 24 or 25mm..

I did reviews on quite a few single coil tanks. Here's my review on the Mage GTA.

Billow V3 Plus is by far the best flavor and clouds tank ive used to date as far as dual coil RTA's go...Now im in search of the best single coil RTA for myself..I have A wotofo serpent mini, Kayfun v5, Taifun GT3, Oumier White bone mini and an Ammit coming to me via vape mail to experiment with...The Merlin mini is next on the list as well as the EHpro bachelor mini and I suppose I can try out the Tobeco supertank mini as well.:vapemail::wait:

All good stuff. The Oumier White Bone Mini is the sleeper out of the bunch. Real high quality RTA that gets no coverage or love. That one really suprised me and has quickly become a personal favorite.

You want a great dual coil flavor tank? Hold out for the Bellus 25. I'm beta testing it right now and it's on point. Really great flavor.

It's a keeper bro. For the price you'd be hard pressed to get another single coil tank close to its vape quality and machining.

Followed you a bit and wow Mike you really do love that Billow, I've just ordered the V3 Plus, any wicking tips would be appreciated buddy.

Should be here on Tuesday, It's all about smooth airflow and flavor for me.. I don't like a tight draw either.

For me, it's the Aromamizer Supreme. I've had a TFV4, Herakles, Merlin, and Goblin Mini V2.
The Supreme hits JUST like a dripper and the 316L dual fused clapton I have on it put out loads of flavor. In fact, I haven't dropped in the better part of week which is really saying something!

I know I'm in the minority here but I really don’t consider the Supreme a flavor tank. I get better flavor from the Aromamizer V2 than the Supreme. Don’t get me wrong, it's a beautiful tank and the machining is top notch but I consider it more of a cloud tank. I think Augvapes whole line, the Boreas, Alleria and both Merlins have better flavor IMO.

Maybe the Supreme is more build dependent when it comes to flavor? I love the flavor I get with SS fused claptons so having enough room in the deck meant it was a no brainer for me.

This^ IMO it's made for big builds especially with the postless deck. If u use just regular like 26 guage 6 wrap dual coil I think you'd be better off with a boreas. Really depends on builds and vaping style.

For me right now it's the Aromamizer plus but that isn't a fair comparison against 25mm tanks. For 25mm or less tanks the Supreme boreas griffin 25 plus and navigator bx are all amazing. Lots of good options IMO

I hear ya both. I said I'd be in the minority. I run dual SS Claptons in my Supreme all the time and for me the flavor just doesn't match the Aromamizer V2, Boreas or the Merlin with a single Clapton. Then again, I'm not an RDTA guy either. Everyone is always saying what great flavor they get from RDTA’s and I just don't get it. I've tried them all from the Avocado to the Limitless Plus and everything in between. I guess its just different strokes for different folks. That's what I love about vaping. You have so many different combinations that you can try to suit your needs and stay off of smoking. It really is great.

At the moment it is my Baby Beast for flavour. I also have a melo mini 3 that is so so I also have a Bellow V2 that I have not yet figured out a good build.... looking for a Ss build for it and have not given up.

Looking at the Ammitt but the Tobeco looks interesting too

I have the cleito, big baby and the baby beast and recommend the big baby hands down.

Air flow is smooth smooth smooth and lots of it..As far as wicking you leave enough of a tail to fit a couple millimeters down into the wicking slot and fill it out...You just tuck it in loosely and it will wick like a dream..I have yet to experience a dry hit or or a leak with it...I think youll love that tank...Flavor is way way up there..The most flavor ive had on any tank.

Think I'll try it, and the white bone mini! Thanks so much! Learned a lot! Much love to you all!
its not a beginner friendly tank..you have to build your own coils for it...You need something that uses replaceable coils and in the .75 to 1 ohm range.

If u want a good mid range tank with cheap coils that will last a bit and high ohms I'd suggest the freemax starre pure. They make a .5 ohm and .25 ohm ceramic coils gives good flavor. No leaks doesn't need a lot of watts and the coils are the cheapest I seen. Around 10 bucks for a 5 pack

Shes using a Sigelie regulated tube mod..My guess a z-max..Its only 30 watts and it wont fire below a .4 ohm if im not mistaken..She needs a basic tank near the 1 ohm range to keep half way decent battery life.

I would actually suggest an old favorite and still a great tank..Aspire nautilus or nautilus mini
@Trina
I was thinking along those lines but I'd go Triton Mini with the great 1.8ohm clapton coil. (Included) Awesome MTL

The best tank is the one that works for you. Everyone has a different perspective and sense of taste. It's all subjective. I've learned over the years not to buy into the hype because what one vaper likes another may not. I try to associate with vapers that vape the same way I do and then I take it from there. That's not to say I'm not willing to try new things because for me that's one of the best things about vaping. However, I do take the opinions of some members here more seriously than others because their way of vaping is a lot closer to mine.

Had a learning curve with the Billow, leaked like hell, I was putting all the wicks into the holes, not all the way down but all in there, mistake, I put enough to fill the hole and laid the rest on the top which plugged the hole, it looked like too much wick but it's vaping like a dream... It's chucking some serious cloud and the flavor is among, if not the best I have had....I mean, it's really good and brings out all the notes in the juice.

Silky smooth airflow, I'm sure the flavor has something to do with it hitting the bottom and the sides, very well made as well, great big build deck, well as you can see I put some very chunky Aliens in it and it's handling it fine..

Mike props to you, you were right, an outstanding tank, outstanding vape !......but ya gotta know how to wick it right or it will flood out..

I cant say ive tried every tank made but I don't see anything being miles better than this Billow V3 Plus...Unless something else comes out as the mother of all tanks ill be using the V3 plus...I trim the cotton down as needed at the bottom sides till I can fit the remaining tail inside the opening and its stuffed in maybe 2 mm or so but its a loose fit somewhat...I cant see any of the cotton from the sides of slots at all the way I set mine up...When I can post pics again ill show my set up.
