Just looked at fusionflavours.ca, I could not find the Nic on their site. Link?

mine is a 100mg/ml

I understand, but I thought you compounded it @ 3mg/ml. ( 3% ) My juice is double that. 6mg/Ml ( 6% ).

The higher the Nic concentration, the more the taste of the Nic becomes evident.

Thank you.

Flavourless nic base concentrate SwissNic®

I wonder if all the SwissNic is orange. I've noticed that very few sellers show pics of their Nic if it is orange....

not the case, a higher concentration of nicotine, like mine with 100 mg/ml of nicotine base strength, then on a small 120ml bottle, with a target of 6mg/ml, you only use 60ml of nicotine base, whereas if you have a lower concentration of nicotine of for example 40 mg/ml, then the same 120ml bottle is achieved by using 157.95ml of nicotine base

It ends with the same flavours on your recipe with either one

My bottle the one in the pic is 100mg/ml and was supposed to be clear. The first order I made was as clear as water and i would say it was stronger with no flavor even mixing at 12mg as where this bottle I can definitely notice the extra throat hit from it even at 6-8mg

No mention of Nic on their website. Perhaps they are out of the Nic Biz, and flogging their 2015 nic. Which would explain the oxidization.

Located in Texas.

Not too Swiss....

What good nic should look like:
nic-600x600.jpg

The orange color comes from oxidization. This occurs with age, storage at too high a temperature, or fine air bubbles introduced into the solution.

Oxidized Nic is less potent, and tastes peppery.

We are saying the same thing. We both are starting with 100 Mg/Ml base. I compound mine so my finished derivative is a Nic concentration of 6 Mg/ml, which I think you will find is double the Nic concentration of 3 Mg/Ml.

If the nic is shit, the more you use, the more shit it will taste. Simples.

wow, nice comparison, really opened my eyes

No problem. You got me started on a Nic research tangent, so thanks to you as well.

Found this.

http://www.bgpgroup.biz/product/nicotine-base-uspep/

Downloaded their data sheets. Looks like fantastic Nic. Probably where all the Nic we buy originates from. I wonder if they will provide samples, and what the minimum size order is. Group buy anyone? lol

Sounds great, but don't think they would ship it from Panama, think I'll consider vaping at a 0% nic level, that fix everything lol

Further update on Lastchoicvapor.ca A funny one.

I went to their website to see if perhaps they reactivated their rigged review. Went to login, and

"Your account has been cancelled. Please contact customer service if you wish to re-activate your account."

So, they sold me shit nic, and censored the review, never offered to replace the shit Nic, refused to appear in this thread after being invited, and now, fire me as a custy. lolololol

If they were not a vaping company, and were not vaping so important, I would unleash a Category 5 shitstorm of consumer law violations against them. As it is, I believe they have earned themselves a special place here in the mudpit, the first vendor I will have nominated for such an honor.

Unless the bad reviews were removed!!

lol Forgot to mention, they actually left my good review of one of their flavorings up.

Joyous news! My order from The Broke Vaper arrived yesterday. Surprisingly, it arrived on time. Canada Post made up for that however, by not putting it into the community parcel box that occupy s a significant part of the hall leading from the lobby of our building.

And by not requiring a signature. And by ramming my package into my 4" X4" letterbox like they were loading an antique cannon, and then decided that since the door wouldn't quite close, and it was impossible to remove the package (took me a while, and a trip back to the apartment to grab my paramedic scissors to cut the packaging enough to get it out) that the best course of action would to be to pound the 1/4" thick stainless door of my box until the hinges deformed enough for the door to latch.

It is indeed refreshing to see that Canada Post is maintaining their long standing tradition of recruiting only the brightest and the best......

Sheltered workshop tax-tick motherfuckers that they are. And if any Postal inspectors ever read this, I mean that in the most gender-neutral politically correct sense of the word. Father fuckers is understood as generally implied as well.

Miraculously, and again in keeping with the spirit of a Crown corporation, they did this as half assed as they do everything else, and my order survived.

I think zombies would make great letter carriers.

Not because of excessive care in the packing. The Flavourless Base Mix × 1 Base:50/50 Strength:100MG Size:240ML

( which actually was two 120 ML bottles, each sealed in a plastic zip-lock baggie, and not the good zip-lock baggies, the dollar store zip-lock baggies) and my 5 30ML bottles of flavoring were put into a bubble pack envelope.

Packaging, as it turns out, which was exactly adequate to the task of surviving the barbaric treatment of our third world postal service. Barely that is.

Considering, I had no idea of how the product was packed within the envelope that was tamponaded into my mail box,as I gingerly began incising the bubble bag in situ, hoping to avoid snipping whatever contained the nic, and the resulting eye level flood of Nic base if ruptured, and also considering that this felt like a cross between uxo disposal, and some ditch medicine procedure for draining a thrombotic hemorrhoid using only a flashlight and 3 bladed Swiss Army knife, I would be willing to pay an extra dollar or so for a sturdy cardboard box. And I'm a cheap bastard.

Have not tried the nic yet. I will report here as soon as I do, But I can say that it is clear. A good start.

Until then, I'm happy to report here, that thebrokevaper.ca delivered exactly what they said they would. In these times, this is no small thing. Barring some major issue with the Nic, I would recommend them. They have gained me as a customer.

Would it be safe for me to conclude that you are not a friend of Canada post:giggle:

lol Whats not to like? If that Nic had leaked in the box drenching others mail, the neo-Nazi-fascist condo committee would conspire to have me thrown out in the street for importing dangerous chemicals. Their torchlight processions are pretty, but they tend to overdo the gardening tool part...

As it was, at 04:00 I commenced Operation Post Tard, managed to come up behind the CCTV cam, lift the ceiling tile, disconnect the CCTV BNC connector in preparation for removing the door and hinge from my mailbox, hammering the bastard back into shape quietly on the concrete in the stairwell, by putting a towel under the hinge, and then remounting it, and re connecting the security cam. The entire time mentally preparing myself for the clean up procedure that may arise after dispatching any random insomniac condo board member with my Cold Steel Master Tanto.

No, if it were not for the hard working dedicated, conscientious members of Canada Post instead of having all that fun, I might have just been sleeping.:cuss2::gaah::tantrum:

Sorry its taking so long, I made sure I was not completely out of Nic this time. :) Should be into the new Nic in a day or two.

In the event that some here think I'm just having a go at our intrepid Letter Carriers, here's a photo of the package they "delivered" today.

As far as I'm concerned, I delivered it. An episiotomy was nearly required.

Bare with me here I have never had one of these before!!

Let me guess here.........you have this big slot for mail but have a small hole to get the mail out?? Then the way I see it is that packages should NEVER be put into it. What a Fu_ked up mess that is.

Its even better than that. Canada Post insisted on putting a gigantic "Parcel Box " into our lobby. The Bldg has elevators, and if the lazy bastards wanted, they could try the door, or the "Parcel Box ". They don't however.

The end where they tamponade the mail in, is the same sized opening as the side that I have to retrieve it from. It is much easier to push/jam it in, than it is to pull it out. Even more so if you are trying not to damage the contents further.

OBW that is absolutely ridiculous. My postal carrier here in the states is a saint in comparison. I live in a house with an isolated porch where he will leave over sized packages and he rings the bell before taking off. I can't say the same about the rest of the US Snail Service. I should have received a delivery from Eciggity today. They put it on the slow boat from Hawaii, maybe tomorrow...

Anyway, I'm headed back up to Canada for work. This time London, ON the week of 12 Dec. This time it will a little cooler, but nothing extreme yet.If there is anyone near there I'm up for a beer and telling some stories...

I got my order from The Broke Vapor today. Could have been better packed especially the nic. Wasn't even in a baggie and the cap was not sealed.

Mixed up a sample batch of unflavored @ 12mg 65/35. Don't detect any harshness or peppery taste but am under the weather a bit.

Hmm. Mine was in a baggie, I opened the Nic tonight, it had an unusual ( to me at least) flip cap, and was sealed with foil.

I'll email him, and invite him to this thread, so he can look at the pics, and see what the Posttards did to the last product he sent me, and see if he might offer better packing.

Did you get a box???

Debating whether to end this thing by making a wire cable arm sever-er, or kicking it Old School with a classic Fallujah Fook-em-up EFP IED, the next time he opens that door....... :bomb:. :bliss::stars::stars2::bliss::drunk:

oh boy, they really jammed that in there ey. geeez :(

Apologies for that. Due to the high volume from the sale, we had brought in a couple new guys to assist in making sure everything still went out quickly. Unfortunately, it appears they let a couple go out without proper sealing. For our regular sealing process, we use an electromagnetic induction sealer to ensure you get a solid and air-tight seal.

We work hard to ensure the best quality we can. Mixing from pure daily can be logistically problematic, but virtually guarantees we put out the best product possible :)

It's good to see a Canadian vendor getting in on the conversation in this thread. Looks like I'm going to be placing an order with TheBrokeVaper this evening after work. I will also say I've seen they have a few flavors I've been looking for that a lot of places don't stock. Looking forward to doing business with them and tasting some clean nic.

Thanks so much! I'm gonna try keep on eye out here and be around more for any questions and what not. If there's a way to tag me in threads, that would be great. I'm good at keeping up with notifications, not so much on just memory lol

I'll be adding Wonder Flavours as well. Package 1 of 2 got here just a few mins ago...the 2nd one, after a thorough verbal thrashing with UPS, should be here later this afternoon :)

if this isn't allowed, please go ahead and delete it (or let me know and i'll delete it), but just wanted to give you a heads up for any of those not in my other distribution channels:

Hi everyone - I just joined up and this thread was an interesting read, to say the least.

Here is a list of Canadian vendors, not comprehensive to be sure but a good starting point:

WonderFlavours.com - made in Canada, dilution ratios range from 8% to 10%.
FlavourFog.com - excellent for samples, up to ten 3ml samples shipped for only $3, excellent customer service
VanCityDIY.com
SaVapeur.com
DIY-ejuice.com - wide selection, excellent customer service, reasonable prices, take special requests
ParagonFlavours.com
itsvapetime.ca - free shipping on orders over $45
canvape.com
firstchoicevapor.ca
vaporbc.com
eastcoastvape.ca
fusionflavours.ca
hydavape.com
salkstreetvapor.com
mapleleafvapes.ca
allecigsolutions.com
happyvaper.com
idiyejuice.com
gentlemensreserve.com
thebrokevaper.ca

I buy my VG from Coopcoco.ca in Quebec in 4L jugs (you actually get 1 gallon which is about 3.78 litres). With shipping and tax will run you around $55. Wait for a sale and get 15% off or sign up for their newsletter and get a $5 discount coupon on your first order. Their VG is certified GMO free, pharmaceutical grade (USP) 99.5% pure (0.5% water) and derived from coconut.

Coopcoco.ca also has pure xylitol in bulk, a more natural sweetener than sucralose and much cheaper (mix 4 grams per 9ml warmed PG). $15.89 for 250 grams - a supply that will last for years (will make about 560ml sweetener). Same sweetening effect as TPA Sweetener (sucralose) and a better choice for those who are health conscience.

I look forward to joining in the conversation!

Hi everyone - I just joined up

Welcome to VU!

Welcome ceecee. Nice list there.

X2!

Sorry for not posting back about the Broke Vaper Nic. Things have been hectic lately, and those letter mangle uh carriers were not going to bury themselves... (love those large Rubbermaid wheeled garbage containers. If only they were stackable... lol) :deadhorse:

The Nic is good! :yes::stars::stars2:

Update also on the Eden Creations flavorings. Approved food grade flavorings, 30 Ml for $6, average ratio is less than 4%. Some are very good on their own and some blend very nicely with other flavorings. I'm trying to make a case to them for continuing to offer them, and expand their selection, or if they decide to drop them, see if they will provide me the name of their source. The large size is 90 Ml, $12. The Chocolate is a very nice Choc Brownie chocolate, nice on its own, or blended with FA chock, and their Cheesecake is very nice as well, @ less than 3%.

Made some Xmas Juice, Candy Cane (Mint Menthol) and some Chocolate Orange. Using FA and Eden Creations choc blend and Orange ( go very easy on the Orange) The same deal with Orange Dreamsicle seemed like a good idea, but the Dreamsicle does not get along with chocolate. Any chocolate so far.

Hey all, Just wondering if anyone can comment on nicotine bought from https://www.vapeonline.ca/ ? A 250ml PG bottle at 100mg is the best price I can find for that size bottle. I'd like to order some, but don't want to waste money on crappy product. I've bought from https://infinitevaper.com/ in the past and was happy with the nicotine they supplied. To be honest though, it's the only nicotine I've tried, so I don't really have a bases for comparison. Any feedback on the Vapeonline nicotine would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Plan

Welcome to VU! I'm happy with the Nic. I received from thebrokevaper.ca,

This is a good resource to check Nic as well.

Hey OBW,

Thanks so much for the welcome and recommendation. I've looked into The Broke Vaper and the link you posted and there is lots of really good information. I'm still curious if anyone here can shed some light on the nicotine from Vapeonline due to it's low price. A 250ml PG bottle at 100mg would cost me $42.99 versus $60.00 from thebrokevaper.ca or infinitevaper.com, where I have purchased before. I know you usually get what you pay for, but if it's comparable product, I'd like to go with the more cost effective source. I few members posted a few comments on it back on page 5 of this thread, but I'm wondering if anyone can give a more in-depth review such as the ones found in that link you posted. Anyway, thanks again for the response.

Cheap nic is not always the best nic! Cheap nic can ruin your mix in a really bad way.

Last year I got some bad nic from the Infinite Vaper so I won't buy any there again. I've been getting mine from diy-ejuice.com in BC. The last time I bought some (Nov.2016) the price for 250 ml (100mg) was $38.25

They don't have nic listed on the website - you have to e-mail them for prices but when you do, ask for a first time buyers discount and they will probably give you one (they did for me; never hurts to ask, only to be denied).

Arrrgh. The Posttards are nothing if not consistent. Third DIY package in a row that these all-singing-all-dancing unionized terrorists in training have mangled. Our Postal system is run by a man named Deepak Chopra. No shit. This is happening.

The elegant, tasteful box Canada Post insisted on installing in our front hall, but refuse to use.

Perhaps our tax dollars could be used to provide some special "bigger than-smaller than" training to these chromosomally challenged unfortunates. I'm sure it wouldn't cost much more than 25-35k per carrier...

Considering shipping some dye packs to dear Deepak. Just kidding.

Where are you ordering from that they're shipping bottles in a bubble mailer? You could try asking them for a box, most retailers would be happy to oblige. Then, if the box doesn't fit in your receptacle, CP will card you to come pick it up at the post office.

That has been suggested. Hasn't it Dan?
TheBrokeVaper
I even mentioned I'd be willing, cheap bastard that I am to pay an extra dollar or so for a box. However, one thing has nothing to do with the other.

Do not ever underestimate the malicious glee and destructive potential of our posties here. They are not so easily cheated out of their spiteful pleasures.

For that matter, they could also use the "parcel locker", the one in the first picture, the one that Canada Post insisted be installed, but to do so would require those poor pitiful SOBs to walk an extra 14 paces. (7 each way)

I'm sure a Canada Post van has sufficient weight to make short work of any box constructed out of any material short of unobtainum alloy.

Would it be possible to include a chart on your site, with starting percentages for different flavorings? I find I'm simply too tired to look them up, much less make juice after a mailbox extraction..... At least for some of the newer flavorings if possible.
