Can the baby beast coils be used in the TFV8?

If not, is there a TFV8 coil that is higher than .2ohm?

No... they will not fit.

The highest resistance Smok TFV8 coil is the Q4 at .2 ohms. Sense makes a .6 ohm coil for the Blazer 200 tank. It will fit and work in the TFV8. Rated at 50-100W.
what he said^
also horizontech makes a .3 ohm coil for the ArcticV12 and that is supposed to fit as well. I haven't confirmed it but i should check when i get home, or should i say I will check if you want me to lol

Although the Horizontech coils have the same outside dimensions they are not interchangeable. The chimney of the TFV8 threads onto the top of the coil. The V12 coils are not threaded.

The TFV8, Blazer 200, and MELO 300 are all interchangeable however, tested by me. That means that the only coils above .2 would be the .6 Blazer 200 or the Eleaf .3 ER coil. I didn't mention the latter as I have not seen them in the wild yet.

Nope... not interchangeable in any way.
thats interesting for sure. I heard they were but never tried it myself. Thanks for clearing that up
So the TFV8 coils, melo 300 coils, and sense blazer coils are all interchangeable though

the baby beast would be better for lower wattage. i get a really good vape at 50-60 watts with the T8 coil IIRC. could be the T6 one. I'd have to check when i get home. The full size TFV8 to me feels kinda useless under 90 watts. too muted to slow of a ramp up

In my opinion the Smok branded TFV8 coils leave a lot to be desired from an efficiency standpoint. To obtain decent flavor you have to feed them plenty of power and ejuice. You really have to be in the "best" range to get flavor from them. If you have your heart set on using a TFV8 my suggestion would be to use either a .6 ohm Sense Blazer 200 coil or the Eleaf ES .17 ohm Triple coil for the Melo 300. Then use a drip tip adapter with a smaller, but still large bore tip and restrict the airflow slightly on the base. One of the two coils likely will give you the flavor you are looking for in the 60-90W range.

They use alot of metal for sure. ID if I'd call them inefficient though as the T10 coil at 130 is still a little better then the V12's .1 ohm coils at 190 watts. But then again the V12 coils could be highly inefficient. I do think the smok coils or better then the EXO coils as well. I cna't compare to the blazer as it still hasn't arrived yet (thanks fastech lol) or the melo as I really don't have much interest in it

My favorite flavor coil for thebv8 is the q4. I use it around 50 watts minimum. But it's just my running around tank and in my opinion the baby beast is a better flavor tank and more efficient coils

I already have a Baby beast... I ordered the Purple TFV8 today, so I was asking to figure out what coils I needed to order.

+1 .6 ohm blazer coil
Best flavor I've gotten from a sub ohm coil in a tank (I don't rebuild RTA's it stock coil heads)

Other coils you could try are: Geekvape Illusion I1 and I4, OBS V, Joyetech Procore Aries, and Ijoy XS-C1 for Exo S / Exo X
