I have been so busy I have not had a chance to try mine but after your review that sucka is getting built tonight....lol. great review by the way.

@Infinite1 has been using it for awhile as well, he pretty much convinced me to get one.

Going to try the single coil first, looks like it will be like the Ammit that I like but with more airflow that I prefer. Going to rewick my Merlin Mini as well to compare the 2.

@SirRichardRear

Thanks for the wicking technique! I have had one for a couple of weeks but not much luck with wicking. Your slight angle cut and the lift and tuck are working like a champ. I was getting slight dry hits before pretty much immediately after a wicking.

Wanted to love this tank, now I think its on the right track ;)

Have only used the single coil deck so far because I was looking for a large capacity MTL tank and with the restrictor installed it actually is a true MTL tank with about 1/4 airflow open to a slightly restricted lung hit fully open.

I think this tank is almost like a jack of all trades type tank. It does it all.

The only major negative I can find is only one 6ML glass piece included and no spares available (yet.) Mine also came with 3 extra o-rings that are red in color and don't look like they fit anywhere. So basically no usable spare o-rings.

I have one also, and it's a decent tank, I do like it more than the Aromamizer Supreme...

I really don't like that the JFC doesn't have a stop or lock point, makes for screwing the tank together or apart a bit painstaking since the ring above the AFC is so thin.

I used it in both single and dual for a week each, and found that the my normal max vg juice had issues, so I made some borderline 70vg and it wicks wonderfully with simple 3mm contacts, 2.5mm 7 wrap fused claptons, 3mm Aliens...could attribute some of it how thick my tails were, but I've tried a bunch of techniques and found a slightly thinner juice did wonders.

I have since benched it as I have many other tanks for I enjoy the Vape I get from RDAs more than I've been able to accomplish via tanks...

I get a nice Vape with it on my Therion 166 at 35w 430f.

I'd give the tank a solid 7 out of 10 for my style of vaping, 9 out of 10 for diversity, 8.5 out of 10 for build quality ( screwing the tank together or apart Uggh)

Just my thoughts on it as I am watching tv...

Got mine a couple of days ago. Did the single coil deck for a day and missed the thicker/richer vapor of a dual coil so I put the dual deck in. Really nice. No leaks, and the wicking keeps up with my 3mm ID Tiger wire coils. Ohms out at. 0.28. I am only vaping at 52 watts and get a nice, long, warm pull with some good flavor. I like it better than the Engine Nano (single coil) for flavor and richer, thicker vapor production. The Engine Nano is not bad with the bottom airflow, just has a different draw and overall vape.

Any leaks with this tank? Does it use pre made coils or can I throw in dual parallel Claptons? :)

Looks like you can only use their drip tip right?

I'm pretty sure it's a 510 tip (or has a 510 adapter) but I'll check later when i get home
it uses any coils you build. it's an RTA so no premade spin on coils. You can easily throw in some dual parallel claptons if you want
No leaks at all

Tempting, but wonder if it really would be a good MTL tank too thought, from experince, tanks not normally good at doing DL and MTL too, normally the MTL is not very good, but do like the look of it though.

I would say no it's not a good MTL tank. But it's a great DTL tank

I haven't had any leaks with mine after 3 tanks.

It is a 510 so you can use any 510 drip tips. I don't like the dt it came with so threw on the Merlin dt and am a lot happier.

After 3 days of continuous use, even with reducing the wick tails on the dual coil deck, I have not had any leaking at all. I would not expect this to be a MTL tank at all. But a restricted lung hit can be done. Not the way I vape, but it can be closed off that way.

I am mostly an in-between MTL & DTL vapor and I really like this tank for MTL type vaping with the single coil deck using the screw in airflow restrictor. It is not a KFL type of draw but you can really dial down the airflow. (Just my opinion based on my preferences, yada yada.)

It is a pretty cool tank with all the options on it.

it is very versatile for sure. I'd say that if you do both MTL, and DTL it's a good option, but if you were strictly a MTL vapor there are better options for a pure MTL tank. still this is one RTA I think everyone should have and i rarely say that about anything

How airy is it compared to the Merlin Mini? No matter where I place the coil in that tank I can't seem to get any concentrated flavour because of how big the chamber/airhole is.

i don't have a merlin mini. maybe @mjag or @Paratech has them both?
My EXO RTA is supposed to deliver Monday.
It has been taking the scenic route on the slow boat.
The design appeared intriguing on the T1S deck so I felt I had to have one on the shelf.
I'll certainly be checking out that T2S deck.

I do not have a Merlin Mini because it is designed to be best as a single coil RTA and I prefer dual coils.
Sorry I can't help.

It is more airy than the Merlin Mini, to match airflow with the Merlin wide open I have to close the airlfow on the Exo about half way. This is with the single coil deck, haven't tried the dual coil in the exo yet.

In single coil the tanks are close but I prefer the Merlin Mini. The Exo just feels like it is more suited to the dual coil deck. I get more of a satisfying dense vape with the MM, the exo just feels like it is too airy and needs that second coil if that makes sense.

I really don't like the supplied drip tip on the exo, replaced it with the DT from my version 1 Merlin.

Going to try the dual coil soon in the exo, feels like this is how the tank will really shine compared to the single coil deck.

For my tastes though the Merlin Mini is the only tank with dual and single coil decks were I thought the single was as good or maybe better than the dual. All the other tanks I preferred the dual coil deck, just suites my vaping style.

Thanks. I think I'll give this one a miss considering that I already have to close down the airflow on the merlin mini quite a bit (I prefer restricted lung hits). How high/close to the airhole do you have your single coils in the merlin by the way? I usually go for as close as possible in most rta's but I feel the design of the deck isn't really suited to it being super low down.

Have you tried the Youde UD goblin mini 3 yet , since it seems more like the merlin mini dual decks am mtl or tbe mini is more like the Goblin tbh was out before merlin , Its just capacity isnt the greatest , but there is an extension available for the goblin mini v3 ud .

I would recommend the Taifun gtv3 5ml simgle coil , can restrict the draw even more by lowering coil to air flow in deck . this is a great RTA , Gearbest has coppervapes Version that's well built , no logo , great Flavourful vape , MTL ,and can be opened up more paul B has YouTube video review on it on , I have a few of them

I've never tried the goblin but the serpent mini is my go-to tank, which from what I hear is very similar but the serpent has the edge.

Here is a awesome deal from vapordna, ijoy-rta with 180mils of juice for $39.99, then use coupon code - VTRz7Zws5k to get $10 off, making it only $29.99

P6QC3mg.jpg

I decided to try it for that price, I am not a normal MTL vapor, I do like quite a airy draw, and run clapton coil on my builds, if don't like it, still got the juice, which I think is a deal in itself for the price :)

Had to grab that deal too when it popped up in my email last night. Excited to try this one out. I love my Griffin RTA but the deck and tank options on the EXO are just too appealing to pass up.

Since I like an airy draw I tend to keep my coils about midway, don't want them super low to restrict airflow.

I told myself (after the recent splurge on mods, RTA's and RDA's after not buying shit for 6 months) I would order ONE more thing, and I think this may be it. Appears to be a pretty good little flavor tank, I also don't own any 26mm devices so I'll give it a shot.

Just installed the dual coil deck and now this tank is on fire. I am going to have to compare it with the exo XL which I also have. I am using the optional RTA on the XL and it is a real good performer and the gold is slick.

The dual coil deck has really brought this tank to life for me, doubtful the single coil deck will be used again.

The Troll RTA is the last bastion of my 22mm devices, too good to let go of for good. I've retired every over 22mm I own.
it's only 22mm?
i could never find a good RTA under 24mm now i'm not sure if i want it. they seem to have too small of build decks to put builds in i want

This deal came in today from vapordna, and I'm really happy with the deal and the tank :)

Straight away switched to the single coil deck, and put in a 1.5 ohm clapton coil, and with the airflow turned right down, is the perfect MTL vape for me, really good flavor, and love the look of this tank, hence why I took the gamble on it, and the gamble paid off for me.

Well I having some bad luck with this tank, to begin with it arrived with one of the small glass tanks cracked, and now after taking apart the larger 6ml tank that decided to crack on me as well. :(
I'm sure they went out and sourced the thinnest glass they could possibly find.
And I've yet to see any available spare glass tanks for it yet, unless I'm looking in the wrong places.

Yes it deliveries on flavor, but what cheap material they have used in the making of this rta.

There rant over. :D
