That is a charging board which is installed inside a charger. Without the actual charger, it won't charge anything.

That is a module, which goes into a charger, you can't charge batteries with the module, you need the other parts of a charger.

Hey I don't think you are well versed in electronics or maybe you just have the intelligence of a potato.
But the "other parts of a charger" are just to -
1.Get the input voltage to desired voltage
2.Coneect the board output to the battery
That's all there is to it,that plastic housing and springs don't magically charge the battery,it's this thing that does it.

No shit..if you have the rest of the parts of course it will charge a battery. You didn't MENTION you had the rest of the parts.

Dude let me explain what I need to do to you.
I will attach a 5v 900ma power source to the input of the charging board,
then attach the battery to the output.
I have all the required parts to do that.
That is it,all I was asking is that are these things safe,I am not experienced in charging 18650 batteries and the people here are, maybe they have bought these things and maybe they worked for them maybe they didn't.

No mention of auto-shutoff, you will need to watch it and remove the battery when the LED turns green. I prefer to charge my batteries @ 500mA, less stress on the battery. 1 Amp is OK, but I still prefer 500mA. No reverse polarity protection, one mistake and that critter is toast.

3FVape has a Nitecore D4 for $28.99 USD. I don't know where you live, but 3F ships most everywhere. http://www.3fvape.com/charger-adapt...8650+battery+charger&results=166#.WL9nRm8rKUk

Hint, it's not good form to insult a mod or anyone else actually... Just saying...

My opinion, for what it is worth, is leave it alone. The sellers feedback rate is less than 95% and the item is well to cheap to be any good but that's just my opinion. So don't get your panties in a twist with me please.

IF that board being sold uses a genuine TP4056 chip it will work fine:

http://lygte-info.dk/review/Review Charger TP4056 UK.html

However since it has no reverse polarity protection it appears that attaching a battery to it incorrectly will fry the board in short order. Be exceptionally mindful of this polarity issue.
Thank you good sir,for providing valuable information. Now that I am informed,I think I will go for it, as the only "issue" is the reverse polarity protection.
In my mind that really isn't an "issue" as I am not going to charge my batteries while under the influence of psychoactive substances and I have fully functioning eyes and hands.
Thank you all for your opinions.

Well sure. Doesn't mean I still don't put a battery in a device in the wrong direction on occasion either. Last I checked it's called being human. You're just venturing into a charging situation where being human has a consequence. That's all.
