Aspire Atlantis coil-fits

Ok. It might be the o-ring around the thread is bigger on those specific Atlantis coils. Try using the o-ring off one of your old Triton coils. Also push the pin in as far as it'll go before inserting the new coil. It might help no atomizer errors.

Triton 1/2 coils are the same as Atlantis. You could always try another coil to see if it acts the same.

Sure, here it is.
Thanks, that is an Atlantis v2 coil with 4 air holes in the positive pin vs two for V1. That coil should fit perfectly in the Triton tank. Take the coil out completely and screw the base and tank portion together, does it screw in all the way ? The only other thing I can think of is to check that the coil is screwed completely in to the base (add a pic of it screwed in if you can) and also check the chimney area for any obstructions that would prevent the top of the coil from seating all the way.

I had the same problem. The o ring on the base of the tank is too large and will not allow you to screw the base in fully. Had the same exact issue with one of my triton v1s. I was not able to locate an oring that was ever the correct size. I just ordered a replacement base for it. There were a couple vendors that had them relatively cheap. If you do not have any luck let me know and I'll see if I can find one of bases since I don't use my Triton's any longer.

The tank and base fit together perfectly until I install the coil. When screwing the coil into the base, it will only turn one full turn before stopping. That being said, I don't think it will fulling screw in.. blah. Here's a picture of it:

Awesome, I appreciate that. So, what kind of base am I looking for? Atlantis or Triton?

That black o ring on the base closest to the coil will give issues screwing it all the way down when a coil is installed. When no coil was installed on mine the larger one right was able to collapse enough to fully install the base but once a coil was there the resistance was to great. I'm fairly certain that's issue. Icant seem to find my Tritons at the moment but the ring looks too big on yours.

Oh, I see.. gotcha. Mine works fine with the Triton coils, it's just the Atlantis ones that won't seem to fully screw in. Idk..

Thanks for your help :)

Good morning!...time to go to work. I can see by looking at that picture that your coil doesn't screw fully into the base. It should* screw in a few more turns until the clear o-ring is seated firmly against the base. I'm not sure why that's happening, have you tried more than one new coil?

Pretty sure they will fit in the Billet box rev4 as well, as soon as I get the mod I will try it and report back

Wouldn't it be nice if they all just developed an industry wide standard threading and just stuck with it?

Maybe a small. medium. and, large type of thing for the different widths between the pen style all the way up to the smok beast?

Any of the Atlantis/Triton style coils will fit. I use the Aspire EVO Clapton's in my Melo. The first post is a big list of tanks that take the same coils if you wanted to try some other brands.

Has anyone tried the Atlantis coil in the Sense Blazer Mini?

I have not BUT they do not look like an Atlantis style. They look more like Herkales Plus coils:

Hopefully someone has one and can test it out for me. I'm thinking about getting a Blazer mini but only if I can use my Atlantis coils in it.

edited my post above to show the Atlantis coils too.
As you can see, the top two pictures are "Atlantis Style" the bottom two are the shorter "Herkales Plus" style which are a good bit shorter.
Check out this review (jump to 7:40) for more insight.
and this one (jump to 6:20)

Just wanted to say thanks for posting this list ..imensly useful . also when you state Eleaf Melo lll Mini - top threads not used
You just put it in the tank like normal?
Meaning, the top threads of the coil are not used to hold the tank together. Some tanks use the top and bottom threads of the coil to hold the tank top and base together. Hope I explained that well lol...

Success! The Vaporesso EUC with the adapter works in my Amigo tank.

Kudos to George M. for his yeoman's work with the tank/coil compatibility lists. It's been a great resource for me.

Hello. Just wanted to say this is a great list and is very helpful. I purchased a Geek Vape Illusion Mini tank, which is on your list, just because it is compatible with so many different coils. It will use these Atlantis style coils with the included base adapter, and it will also use the bigger Smok Baby Beast and Big Baby Beast coils without the adapter. I will say I have used several of these coils in this tank, some work better than others. i really like the Aspire Clapton and EVO coils, also the Amigo Riptide coils. I think the tank design prevents some of these coils from working like they should. The Atlantis style coils, once screwed into the base and then into tank are housed in a chamber like space inside the tank, maybe preventing some of the coils from wicking properly. I would have to say that this is the best tank I own, great flavor, big clouds and very many coil combinations, anywhere from low wattage MTL vaping to 150 watts and above.

I was looking at the Digiflavor Bucho. The coils it uses look very similar to the Atlantis style, but I don't see it on the list. Can anybody enlighten me about the Bucho tank?

Has anybody tested Atlantis coils in the Melo 4 yet? Do they work??

My venture into Atlantis/Amigo coils in a Melo 4 D25 was a rather messy affair.
After attaching the coil base to the tank assembly and tightening, I was still able to rotate the glass tank which led to some leaking.

Mine's the 22, wonder if that would make a difference? But it's good to know they do fit, thank you! :)

That’s what you got from that? lol

Sorry, I should have been clearer. I don’t think they fit. I wouldn’t recommend.
I also should have mentioned that I was using an Amigo factory coil.
And, I should have used the word “spin” as opposed to “rotate”. Better description of how freely the glass moves with the tank fully tightened together.

But your right about the point that the D22 might be a better fit.

Oh, Ooops!... I thought you were saying you had it in there and was using it but came across the leaking issue. Thanks for the clarification.

Atlantis/Triton coils will fit the Melo 4 that you've got just fine. Most, but not all, of eLeaf's iJust and Melo tanks can be used with Atlantis/Triton coils.

I hope this helps.
Great, thanks! :)

I'm new to vaping I have 3 tanks and looking to find out which coils are compatible with the following tanks

#1- tobeco super mini (25mm I believe)
#2- iJoy Captain tank (it came with my iJoy captain PD1865 mod)
#3-melo 4 tank
If you can tell me which coils are compatible with the tanks I have listed above that would be wonderful thank you.
** When replying please put which tank is compatible with which coils please**

The Tobeco and the Melo will both use Atlantis style coils. The Captain is not compatible with anything else that I can find.

I understand that , so all the Atlantis coils are the same size ( not talking about the ohms)
The parts that matter where installation is concerned... The threads top and bottom, and the positive contact... Are the same. The innards (wicking, wire) are different. Some compatible coils are gold, some silver (might be stainless, might be chromed brass).

I can't explain why it took me a year to post this atomizer that uses these coils.
Probably because I rarely see it anywhere anymore. But just in case anybody might wonder......

Ladies and gentlemen,
I present to you, the runt of the Tobeco Super Tank Family.
The Nano.

2 mls and uses the same kind of drip tip as the other Tobeco tanks.
A perfect fit with a CoV Mini Volt.
(hat tip to @Ms. Trixy for a great deal on the mod)

another one for the list @georgemeadal
Saw this tank at Everzon.com for $2.50, (and really cheap at other vaping sites) thought it looked like one for the list, and took a shot

p.s. @Just Frank .....I know it's been a while since your previous query, but I hope this helps
