So, I just picked up the Baby Beast, and wow, I am impressed. This is a bad ass sub ohm tank! I started off vaping on the 0.15ohm Octuple coil head, @ 70W, and the flavor and vapor production is rocking! I then tried the included 0.4ohm coil, and noticed a sightly different vape, but not much. The flavor didnt seem to be quite as saturated, but I do like that it performs comparable at lower watts. Since the 0.4ohmer vapes at lower watts, I assume juice consumption and battery life would be slightly better than the 0.15, which is important to me, but not if I have to sacrifice flavor. I plan on purchasing the RBA head in the near future, as I assume I will be able to get the best flavor out of a nice dual clapton build that I do myself, or some small Aliens. Is this true? Or do the stock coil heads perform just as well as a custom built in the rba?

So my question is....out of all the available stock SMOK Baby Beast coil heads, which produce the BEST FLAVOR? Any and all input is much appreciated. Thanks!

since my original post, I have tried out each of the various coil heads available for the baby beast, and I think the T8 and the X4 are my 2 favorites, and I can't notice much of a difference between the 2. I still haven't got the RBA head for this tank yet, but I still plan on it. I am just waiting until I use all my stock coil heads up before I pull the trigger and order the RBA.

So, what do you guys think about the baby beast coil heads? Thoughts? Input? Comments? Favorite?

Thanks folks!

I did not own a BBB when you op, but since then I have had mine for a couple months now. I personally enjoy the T8 on both the BB and BBB, but the rba base is worth trying. Now I just need to find a matchy drip tip for the purple IPV 6X it's sitting on.

Thanks for the input! I do not have a BBB, just the BB, but I love it. It is the only sub ohm tank I will use with stock coil heads anymore honestly, and I own 4x...the other tank I still use is the Kanger subtank mini, but ONLY with the RBA section.

Check out Double Helix Designs for a nice matchy drip tip. She makes some of the most gorgeous drip tips...both 510 and goon sized....as well as recoil and more! DEFINTELY worth checking out!

My rba deck with the BBB doesn't work. Keeps saying ohms to low. Tried on 7 diffent mods with the same result. Hope your luck is better, although I read it's a very common complaint with the included rba deck...

Funny you said that. I had no issue for the first couple weeks. I went to re-wick the stock coil that came on the rba base, and I too now get the "atomizer too low" error message, on ALL the other devices I put it on. Guess Ill have to just put another build on it that is .25 or so. But when it did work, it tasted great and had good vapor production.

I've used the Q2, X4, T8, and the rba. I found each stock coil to be quite good, once the cotton finally gets saturated. Certain coils were better with certain juices, as far as flavor and longevity.
However, once I tried the rba, all the stock coils got retired to the stash. Once I tried my own 3x28/38 SS316L claptons in it, I decided to order 2 more rba's for my other 2 BB's. I'll probably never use another stocker in them, barring some bizarre vapemergency, lol.

This is what I was hoping to hear! Woot! I'm not a SS user, but I have heard so many great things about it recently, I might have to make the switch from Ni80...

Do you vape in TC or wattage mode ?

I was gifted a Baby Beast and have tried the supplied coils. They work fine, but not producing the flavor I would prefer. Is there a single coil rba option? Checked online and couldn't tell from the description for sure. Thanks

edit - was also wondering if anyone knows what metal is in the stock coils. I'm kinda thinking kanthal, as the FSK chip seems to like them at ~3.5, and the joyetech chip won't recognize them as SS.

No single coil option that I'm aware of, and
the supplied coils are kanthol.

And it's weird because the Cloud Beast claptons are SS, but I've not seen anywhere what grade they are. I just used them in xxx mode.
