OK ... so I've narrowed it down to 3 different RDAs. I have been reading reviews, checking on reddit and watching videos and keep changing my mind. So hopefully somebody here will have some good advice. Kind of wish I could just pick the best points of all 3 really. LOL

Peerless RDA
ICON RDA
Rashomon RDA

Pretty much the ONLY thing that I don't like about the Peerless is not being able to use my own drip tip should I choose. Not sure how much of the ICON is hype and how much is real. Apparently the ICON gets fairly warm and the Peerless doesn't get warm at all. And then the Rashomon ... I really like that it's bottom airflow and that you can block off one of the airflows for single coil. If the Rashomon had adjustable airflow I probably wouldn't even be questioning this decision.

I would most likely be using this RBA in single coil mode but would like the option for dual. Flavor is more important than clouds. I was thinking that on the Rashomon if I was only using a single coil and using my own drip tip I may be able to restrict the airflow a bit. It's one of those things where I wouldn't actually know until I tried it. I generally do like a somewhat restricted airflow.

So right now I'm bouncing between the Peerless and the Rashomon with the ICON in the background. If any of you have experience with all 3 I would appreciate hearing your thoughts. Even if you just own one of them your input would be welcomed.

Don't know about the the other two but here is my unhyped review of the Icon.

Hope it helps in your decision.

I have a rashomon and it doesn't have AFC wide open all the time other than that I like it just have to build for wide open.

Works nice in single coil. But if I was ordering from China and I was getting a peerless id order a ShenRay Hadaly clone also great single coil rda that has good restricted air.

$13 at efun. That's gotta be cheap enough. Efun is in China, so you'll have to wait for it to ne delivered.

I bought the Blue and it shipped out 2 days after I ordered (i had other stuff in my order). The coupon code works with all colors.

I have an icon rda currently in transit. I own a peerless and this rda just hits a nerve, kinda like the tsunami does. I hate the tolerances on the bottom orings and I hate how it pushes juice all over the base. Lovely deck and love the mage style drip tip/top cap. Mine currently sits back in the box til I can get some tighter orings for it.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll keep my fingers crossed that mine was built right. If not, I'll search for o-rings too.
This is my first rda. I bought it to match the Envii Loch Ness.

You can use your own drip tip on the Peerless comes with 2 caps @Vapin-Dave ;) here's mine will be putting up a review soon although the stock cap is actually really good...I'm not a fan of the build deck on it but it's a decent RDA for the price

Thanks for all the replies. Although you haven't made this any easier. LOL I was instantly interested in that deal for the Peerless at EFUN however after crunching the numbers it ends up not being that much cheaper for me. They charge for shipping and I'm in Canada EH!! :p

After conversion the EFUN deal would be around $25, Fasttech $28.79 and from a Canadian online company I could get it shipped in only a couple days to my door for around $30. So for a difference of $5 to get it in a couple days would be preferable. However now I'm leaning towards the ICON. I should just get all 3 and keep the one I like the best. ;)

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by 'building for wide open'. Do you mean larger coils that run hotter? Do you find that the single coil has more restrictive airflow? Have you tried the 510 adapter with your own drip tip and if so does that help to reduce the airflow a bit? Man I wish this one had adjustable airflow.

I watched a video from Vaping with Vic where he uses micro coils in it and he was still very impressed with it. (He uses micro coils in everything which I like as all the other reviewers generally only use larger coils.) I do have some larger SS Flat Wire Clapton coils and SS Caterpillar wire on the way from Fasttech.

I think almost every review I've read on the Rashomon praises the hell out of it with the only con being the non-adjustable airflow. One little AFC ring and this RDA would likely fit my needs perfectly.

Ive got the icon on route so I'll be able to compare to the Peerless shortly ....very similar though Stefanz worked at geekvape designing thier atties before starting vandyvape so I'm not surprised they share many similarities

Watched a review on the rashomon with the vaping biker must say I like the look of that one as well so may well get it too to try it

I think all 3 will be very much alike Although icon post layout is what Peerless should have had looks like an evolution of the design to me ;)

One thing I really love on rashomon is top cap easily removed and put back because you don't have to make sure it's aligned with anything I know it's not a WOW but it's nice.

Just a tip for tightening o-rings: remove the o-rings and wrap dental floss around the grooves. Re install the o-rings and voila. Good thing about this is you can apply as much floss as you want to get the desired tension on the top cap.
