Does anyone know what causes a mod to auto fire? I was playing with my fsk settings this morning and took a rip off the g2 that wouldn't stop. Had to disconnect the atty to stop it. I turned the mod off then back on and it seemed fine from there besides my burnt to hell cotton. Would leaking cause it? When I took it off there was some condensation around the 510 ring at the top. Didn't think anything was inside. And it hasn't had any issues since. Should I be concerned?

Was the fire button sticking? I've never heard of a G2 auto firing.

I have never heard of a G2 auto firing either, can't think of why that would happen except maybe the fire button sticking like Jack mentioned.

With the movement on my buttons on the slice I could see the button get stuck. Don't know if the g2 is as sloppy as the slice. Love my slice even with the buttons being sloppy.

I've read of just one other G2 auto-firing. IIRC, they just sent it in and the board was replaced.

Keep it clean, and keep a close eye on it. If it happens again, send it in for repair.

Ugh...note to self don't accidentally put 3mg juice in rta when u normally use 1.5 in this thing while trying to figure out temp control...rooms a spinnin.

I'm down to 6mg and didn't look when I grabbed a bottle this morning. I took a big vape on my tfv8 and thought. Damn. That's harsh. Turns out it was an old bottle of 18mg. Gonna be buzzing all day. LoL

It's hard to tell if the button stuck as it's such low profile. I was also in a bit of a panic unscrewing my atty when it happened so didn't really think about it. All I did was unscrew, turn off turn back on and seemed to be resolved. But again it's possible I hit the button again in my frenzy and unstuck a stuck button. I had this problem one time with my Kbox 200 and haven't had the issue since. My sub box which was my first mod had a perminant issue which volcano'ed my juice all over my laptop and made a battery vent. I moved to the Kbox 200 after that. But ic been using my g2 all day since the incident and haven't had further issues. But I am making sure to turn it off while I'm away from the mod just encase.

usually an auto fire is caused by a short on the chip if it's not a stuck button.

Ok, I'll keep an eye on it. It's possible the button got stuck. I would think if the chip had a short I'd be having more issues and it's running the best iv seen so far. Got my tfv8 running temp control perfectly in xxx mode.

I emailed ht just to be sure and got this in response...

Sounds like your 510 was pushed down too far. Take off the back plate and
see if the 510 pin is touching the battery bridge...if it is, it will auto
fire. We've not seen this before, but if your 510 pin is too long, it could
do this....so you'd need to adjust your pin.

I don't think this is the issue as the avocado has a rather small 510 pin and is smaller then my tfv8 which works fine. I would like to check though out of curiosity but have nvr taken any mods apart. Is the back plate the plate under the battery door held by 4 screws? If so, has anyone removed this before, I don't wanna pull it off and have shit go flying and be shit out of luck.

It's just the 5 Philips screws. Nothing should go flying. If something does, it's probably what caused the problem LOL.

I ordered one on Wed. Haven't heard anything after the order was acknowledged. Was going to drop them a note around noon-ish.

I was planning on calling them. The phone number is on their site or on the email.

And to whom it may concern, Vaporcube has the SE back in stock. All colors, except black. Code g2flashx1 still works for 50% off. But right now, Mainevaporroom.com still has the better price; especially if you're wanting the LE.

I've read all 108 pages of the G2 thread but I can't remember to save my life...is there any difference in G2 SE and LE other than the colored markings?

Does anyone notice that even with a fully charged battery on the Slice the battery meter on the mod reads 87% not 100%? Doesn't matter what battery, I have the iJoy 26650 & the Hohmtech 26650 & a 18650 with an adaptor.

That's the only difference. The symbols on the LE are actually machined into the surface, exposing the raw aluminum. Not only does it fancy it up, it makes it more "grippy".

I'm inclined to think it may be the charger not charging to the full 4.2V, but I could be wrong. I don't have a D4, so I can't help with it.

Let us know what happens.
Ok when it reaches 100% using the USB to charge does the lightning bolt stop? Because the lightning bolt is still on but it says 100% & if I unplug it & vape on it after a few hits the battery is reading 94%.
