New builder wants decent RDA

Hey y'all! I'm brand new to rebuilding and I'm looking for an inexpensive RDA that's a decent quality. I am a student, so the budget isn't all that great, but I have come across a few online that are inside my price range. I just don't want to buy something that turns out to be crap. I'm hoping to find something that I will be able to continue using even as I get significantly better at this. If it matters, I want to eventually get into the artistic building side of things, but definitely understand that I need to pay my dues and master the basics before moving into that. Any and all suggestions are welcome!

Get something with a velocity deck you will be fine. Bigger the deck easier to build.....

There is no way we can tell you what atty you will like... if only because we don't know what kind of vape you like.... we don't even know what kind of mod you are going to use with it... might suggest something different for a mech vs a 300 watt regulated mod.... might suggest different for dual battery mech vs single battery mech. Might suggest different for Clouds Bro vs yummy.

I should have mentioned all of those things. Sorry I didn't. For now, I'll be running it on a Rouleaux RX200 (3x18650s) and I want something that's middle of the road as far as flavor vs. clouds. I'm hoping to learn how to do all of it and I'm sure I'll wind up getting several more RDAs over time as I learn more. I just ran up to my local shop and they suggested a Hellboy? Like HondaDavidson said, I was thinking a larger deck would be easier to learn with up front and then would also serve the purpose of allowing more creativity as I get better. The guy at the shop said just grab something like that hellboy to start learning and get more as I want to venture into more complicated builds.

(in no particular order)
Pharaoh dripper tank
Tsunmai 24
Mad Dog RDA
Peerless RDA
Yuri RDA
Biltz hatty RDA
velocity V2 or V3 clone RDA
Efun Windwalker RDA
Cigpet Eco RDA
Cigreen gear RDA
CSMNT clone RDA

all of those should be around 25 bucks or less and are all good. It's pretty rare to come across a bad RDA nowadays

One of my favorite rda's for the money is a Troll V2.

Easy to build. Decent design and construction. Lies somewhere between a flavor and cloud rda.

For what it's worth, I bought an Innokin Eurus rda from My Vapor Store for 15 bucks that's identical to the Desire Mad Dog. Not a clone but a collaboration between Desire and Innokin to get Innokin into the mainstream atomizer market is what I read.

At any rate, the Eurus is a well made device. It even comes with a decent pair of either mini-alien or fused clapton coils and some cotton to get you going quick.

This may or may not be to your liking, I just thought I would throw it out there for you to check out.

So I picked up the TMsquared RDA over the weekend since they were running a special (buy a top cap and get a base free). I did my first build today and posted it to the Post Your Build page.

Here's my ignorance showing.. how does the RDA affect flavor vs. clouds? I thought that was based on the surface area of the coil?

I used my little boy for probably over a year (or at least it seemed that long) and it only cost me$20, but now I have an Alliance and I love it. I bought it from a buddy but he said he got it for about $50. This was a while ago though.

Don't make the same mistake I made. I bought all these shitty RDA's because i wanted to save money, only to end up buying good ones and storing the others. Now i have 3 rda's that i will never use. They were cheap, screws stripped, flavor was muffled, even with fused claptons. So, you get what you pay for. If you're looking to get something that won't break your wallet, but at the same time, is good quality, get the Recoil. It will give you the best flavor from an rda in it's price range. It will set you back 60 to 65 bucks, but worth every penny. The flavor is fantastic and the screws are good quality and won't strip. If you're willing to spend money on a high end rda with lifetime warranty, get the Kennedy. Its been around for a while and has built a reputation for having stellar flavor and quality. However, it will set you back 90 to 110 dollars, depending on where you get it, but it's worth every penny! I have one recoil and two Kennedy's. The taste is off the charts and depending on your e-juice and build, they give you nice dense clouds saturated with flavor. If you do decide on either one of these two, stay away from the clones. So, don't bother wasting your money on cheap RDA's because, believe me, you will end up buying a good one eventually anyway. So why not buy a good one from the outset? I understand you are on a budget, but speaking from experience, you should wait a little longer until you have the money, instead of wasting your money on a 20-40 dollar rda, only to end up storing it or giving it away when you purchase a good one. There's allot of people that will tell you they are happy with a cheap rda's, but they are either getting payed to promote a cheap product, have never used a good rda so they think what they have is somehow as good as it gets, or they're just hating on people that are willing to invest money on a quality product that will give them the most out of their vaping experience. E-liquid is expensive, so why not get a quality product that will let you enjoy it to it fullest?

I second the recoil. By far my favorite RDA. Vape is so smooth, top cap comes off for easy dripping, airholes are drilled downward so its almost impossible to leak, great build quality. I have a rx200 as well. here's what it will look like...

if you like airflow.. i'd suggest a velocity v3 clone. if you like flavor, i'd suggest a hadaly clone. but that's just out of the 8 rda's i have. (1 airflow each side)Kennedy Clone, Authentic Igo-w14, Authentic GeekVape Peerless, Psyclone Hadaly clone, Desire Mad Dog clone, Critical Minds Omerta clone, Velocity V3(clone. thou i can't even seem find an original) and last but not least, my favorite of what i have, the District 5 CSMNT Cosmonaut. i like it becasue i can toss big single coils in there and have plenty of airflow to cool it off/move the vapor. but i've got like 9 more clones on the way because i like to have options, and i haven't made up my mind on my own daily rda, though at the moment that's the csmnt.

I havent seen this mentioned, Druga RDA. I cannot rate this RDA enough, I find it absolutely perfect for what I need, the build deck is easy as hell to use with the snag system, no worry about stripping little grub screws. gives a great flavour and a great cloud production, Picked mine up for £25 new. and they look real good!
