Fused Ss Claptons. 2-24ga wrapped in 36 ga. 9 wraps / 4mm on Elite V2 (8 complete then 1/2 each end? Never know how to count the wraps). Came out to .14 ohms. Not bad. Wish it would have been around .25 ish.
Gonna have to mix it up to get ohms up.....

Not bad for adrunkguy lol.

Try 26 or 28g to raise the resistance. Then go triple-28 or 30g. Then aliens, staggered, staggerton, fraliens, etc LOL

nice work @Th3T @Mista Malice @Lizzardking @iamadrunkguy  @raymo2u i think thats the first set of tsukas i have seen made like that (decored alien style). they have a much different look to them than the twisted wire method. have you tried that with like a .4 or .5 ribbon? i imagine it would get pretty thick in the middle where it twists...smallest i have right now is .3, ill have to try that build later.

decided to rebuild my last framed staples but in the next smaller gauge. 12x.3mmka1/30ka1/42n80 5 3mm wraps .12
fraple2.PNG
got to get better at 42, sometimes there are still rough spots.

After 4 attempts I finally got one
Good job! The best I have done was a few millimeters or so of good alien wire and then ... ruined! I've been scared away from trying to do aliens because of how much wire I go through trying to get it right. Maybe when I get 1000' of wire one day I'll give it another go. :D

Absolutely fuckin sick as tits! Hahaa Seriously all your builds are fire. For that Skill rda how'd you grab one? Or did you have to order it from the U.K. and the cheapest I have found with shipping and everything is right around 100$. Kills me haven't pulled the trigger yet but the more I see this rda it just looks good. Anyway I've ordered a Reload rta, should be here within the next few days, how are you liking it so far? Which builds are you finding work best? Thanks man. Keep up the phenomenal coil buildin skillz. But I thought with the Skill rda, no skill was needed... hah bad joke. Oh and I just saw the Skill is now in SS. Right on and keeps on a vapin.

I grabbed the Skill rda from customvapes.uk for around $78 shipped. Its my #1 rda at the moment and well worth the money. If you want to try it before you buy it try the Skywalker RDA...its basically the same exact design but its SS and its authentic for $15...

The Reload RTA is amazing if you wick it correctly...its a flavor Tank and the design is pretty amazing. Its clean, well built and screams high quality. Its deck is easy to build on and I love how the screws only press on the leads like the skill rda does, they dont look mangled after a install as the screw pins the leads flat.
When your wicking it DO NOT tuck your wicking into the ports...simply cut it flush with the top of the port and st it on top. I like to wet the wicking and press on it to flatten it over the port so it covers it all and stays so when you cap it the wick doesnt move. No leaking and its stays saturated even with the .09 Alien Staggs Ive installed in mine.

You can see where i cut the wicking, just so it would barely dip into the port

20170510_125131.jpg

Then sit it on top of the port, do not tuck it in...it should be barely sitting in the port.

Nice! Now 78$ is doable and much mo betta than 100$. I'm sure it'll be my next rda purchase, it looks so clean and fun too build on. Also a huge thanks for explaining and taking the time to throw some pics of what the wicking should look like on the Reload rta, I totally would have stuffed the ports and get pissed about tasting cotton haha. Man and those Stag Aliens are fuckin rad. I've never seen that build before, that must be a fairly tough build to do, I couldn't imagine of doing Stag aliens since I finally got the spacing method for claptons that works for me. So with those Stag aliens, do you actually wrap two decores at the same time? I'm still learning aliens but I'm at a point where I can get like half a 12" stick with no mess ups. Just looking at like stitched aliens and enigma, pitchfork and several more blow my mind on thinking/figuring out the method for those gnarly builds. Like when I see and staple Stag with like 8-10 spacing in between each other. Anywho I'm rambling. Ohh last thing, I saw your shuttle build on ig first then here I seriously stared at it for 10 mins. Fuckin rad. Right on man and keeps on a vapin.

Not to sound full of myself but I was dared to try and make a Alien Staggerton about a year ago and I nailed it on my first try. Since then Ive tried to get the spacing perfect, tried with various sized decores and core sizes and alternatives wires. I was the only person making them for a year straight on Instagram but people are starting to notice what Ive been actually posting. I decided to share my routine of making them and Ive gotten atleast 10 other people to make them.

Easy wy of looking at the routine:
You start with a normal 3x28g/36g Alien except you space the alien wraps. I do it by under stretching the decore and giving it a hard angle and using tension to control the spacing size as you go down the length. Then add 28g frames to the core and fuse it with a 24g/36g decore.

My first attempt (JULY 13, 2016)

Those alien staggertons look beast. Still practicing regular staggertons, stepped up from reading glasses to a magnified lamp/stand and it makes a world of difference for seeing what you're doing. Did my first Staple helix last night it was pretty smooth though it could be cleaner and tighter. Hesitant to wrap it though because I know my first pass was a bit loose.
Also did another staggerton that was originally going to be layered but I didn't like the way the ribbon came out (spacing could be better and it twisted, but I sorta untwisted it lol) I didn't want to waste it so just used it for practice.staple helix.jpg n80stagg.jpg

nice work @whiteowl84 40g alien is next level shit.
and a damn good vape!

5x28g N80/40g 316L 4 Wrap/3mm ID Aliens is my favorite build...it makes anything vape really well, lasts pretty log on a tube (especially for its resistance) and its very warm/incredibly flavorful and it likes some airflow..They get better with parallel boxes and with some time they are pretty easy to knock out.

Tips: Use 24g Decore and use a Ribbon slider about a inch from where the alien is going on have it stretched to position and dont use an tension...well just enough to have it wrap correctly.

Imo 40g and especially 38g is easier than 36g if you're willing to go full speed.
I don't like having alot of tension on the slinky so if I just stretch it enough it's pretty easy.

Decore should be 3x smaller than your final build.
28g is 0.321mm, 26g is 0.404mm.
You can choose 26g or 24g.
26g will fit more tightly together while 24g will flare the edges out because you have more curve in the wrap.

I hear ya @BKTOAD I didn't quit building but haven't had much time to practice either lol...heres a quick, fast build I made..and then I remembered that I hate how ribbon vapes on the outside of the cores...pulled it out immediately and in to the trash it went. Funny how stapled builds are so great and then you vape one of these! No more I say!0518172343b_HDR_20170520194018508.jpg

Nice Raymo! Those double framed stag's look like the ones I tried to make but with ribbon frames and much cleaner haha ( mine was pretty much inspired from one of your older pics ) How do you ever get used to that angle, for me it seems like once your towards the middle of the wrap you gotta go hard left on one side and then back right the next to keep the skipped fuses correct. And eventually for me the angles get so sharp I eventually had to just misplace one to get it back to the original pattern I was going for. Is that normal? I could have just made some mistake when I had to do that.

I tried my first stitched alien wrap over a framed staple core. I had my lead a bit forward for the first half or so because I was afraid of overlapping and it created a nice spaced effect where you can see the ribbon peeking, and the other half is wrapped a bit closer. I don't know which way I like better. Used 26g KA1/ 6ply .4R KA1/ 36g 316L alien & 40g N80 stitch. I pretty much have the interlock and stitch down, Enigmas here I come!stitchedloose.jpg stitchedtight.jpg

When I paraclap I like to keep the strands at just forward of 90, it makes the clapton straight up and down so when I go to fuse it there is barely any angle at all. If your wire is centered in the drill and spins smooth then you just need to find the angle and tension to mimic the strand you removed....I like to fuse at full speed so after I stumbled upon this its been what Ive done ever since.

Any how here's some Pitchforks I made the day before yesterday:

I also got the Gorge yesterday. A Single Coil RDA that @advkenofficial brought me in on during its beta stages. They were kind enough to use my sketch of the word gorge for the logo...I thought that was kind of cool. Anyways for those who decide to get one...make sure your buckled, this thing is a beast!

Damn full speed on a stagger fuse with those gauges is pretty elite. I can get a steady medium speed when I'm not skipping grooves, but when I go for the skip it happens. Thanks as always for the advice. I'm using a weight to stagger my ribbon stacks still because I keep getting twists when I paraclap(too much tension I believe). Certainly gave me something to think about because the last time I tried to skip fuse round wire frames it was easier perhaps due to being done at a better angle.
Are you not participating in Coil wars civil wars? Would be cool to see you and whiteowl84 in on it but since they're using real names I don't recognize anyone.
