I just went ahead and purchased it from Bull City as someone needed to take one for the team here. It's hard to describe. First impression is a bright Almond/Vanilla note very similar to culinary extracts, even though they claim it has nothing but Custard notes. A bit boozy and It's fairly strong, I've used no more than 1% in stand alone and as a mixer. I've used it in some of my recipes; Almond Milk, Strawberry Cream & one of my lighter Vanilla Custards. It plays well with other flavors, especially Almond notes, but by no means does it bring a custard or even a cream note. Dunno...

FA custard drops most of the vanilla.
has just a hint of a lemon flavor to me though. Just a hint.
I agree, FA's is wonderfully creamy with Lemon Peel note above 2.5%. It does lack the deep eggy notes & Vanilla of CAP's though. I guess I was hoping for a CAP's v2 version, minus the vanilla.

Yep CAP VC V1 is wonderful stuff.
Their Vanilla whipped Cream is nice as well.
