Ok this is my 3rd ever coil so be gentle! I wasted a god awful amount of wire today learning, but I actually got this on the first shot. I don't have anything to mount it in as of yet, but I have a govad on a slow boat. It should be .3ish (it's 24 and 28). Mostly I'm pretty happy I pulled anything off at all. I also got a decent length of 28x36 clapton done but i didn't wrap it.
Looks great!

Kept getting pulled away by "Honey Do's" but managed to give the Alien Stag a try. Heres a fail from the 1st stick...core twisted
e9028cbf44ff01692f0024099ec54668.jpg

By the 3rd stick I got the stagger pretty consistent a little wide on this one but at least its fairly even.

Thank you Raymo for all the help! I still have a long way to go before they are perfect. Came at .12ohm Stepping stones to vape Nirvana!

Looks good, lots of folks think the sfc is a waste of wire but I love them. 28gss with 36g ss makes an awesome TC vape with sfc.

My first attempt at 4 cores. 28/38 SS316L
IMG_20170610_142355.jpg The wrap started coming of the spool all kinky, and fucked me up on the back half. No more shitty Lightning Vapes wire for me! I was so pissed I forgot to wash the coils before I fired em lol. Still kinda pretty tho.

@DeathwishModz was kind enough to send me their Death Trap RDA.This RDA is a beast and not just because it's a 30mm RDA! Its layout is different then anything I've seen previously and it has more lead holding room then the Goon 1.5! I can't wait to build some crazy shit in this thing.

I wanted to show off how clean the machining is on the Death Trap, hope you guys like it!

Thank you. Getting compliments from such a great group of builders means alot. This build taught me alot about core prep and freehand spacing. Im in it for the love of the hobby and the great thing is the possibilities are endless and inspiration is everywhere! In a couple weeks I'll have a (hopefully) unique variation for you guys to critique.

Do you hold the spaced wrap with nylon plyers and reverse drill for a second? If you loosen it up like that they are free to shift and line up while doing the fuse wrap.

Double Barrel Staggerton Variant.
This would barely fit as a 2 wrap in the goon and it is the same width as a Goon Clamp, the Inner Diameter is 4mm....it looks miniaturized in this crazy ass rda

Heres some aliens I made with 36g wraps and was like holding a fire hose compared to the thin 40g aliens I had made right before these. What a difference!! Actually the 36 was so heavy it wanted to collapse the cores. They vape just fine though!

If I can get my 40g aliens to look like that I'll be very happy! Nice work

Unfortunately, it wasn't much of a flavor build. Kinda sucked, actually.

Today I did a set of parallel fused Claptons, and they are a fantastic flavor build. Unfortunately, I blew right past the colors when I pulsed them, so I didn't get a decent color shot. Comes in at 0.17Ω and works great on a tube mech - I have it on the SΩI Shorty.

I take lots of precautions and time editing to ensure they look as clean as they possibly can! Im glad people are noticing the amount of work that goes into it!

All right you damn wire floaters you've made a believer outta me. I had my ribbon completely loose between the frames...none was trapped at the drill side and none was looped around the swivel. I wound some ribbon around both ends to hold it up in place and it worked phenomenally! This was the easiest experience I've ever had with ribbon! I was so blown away at how easy everything was coming together I just knew my cores had to be collapsing or something...it never happened though lol. I kept stopping in the run to check and every time I did I'd mess up my spacing during the fuse. I literally ran a 14" stick with no issues except some bad spacing. Next time I feel like I can nail it down. None of my builds are flawless... but this one came so close!

26g frames - 8 ply .4 ribbon - 40g KD fuse

I like looping my frames through the drill and swivel, putting my ribbon in between. Adding a single Ribbon slider near the drill end and then glueing the Ribbon end a inch from the drill....then sliding the slider down about a inch from the ribbon end on the swivel side and adding hot glue right after the slider while pulling the ribbon tight. After the glue dries the ribbon is tight anytime you pull on the drill and it makes setup very quick and easy.

That's nice. But I didn't use frames.

On FS i loop every thiing through the swivels. 2 sliders. But it only works if you can hold it TIGHT with the drill so i use a heavy vise. I do alot of ribbon too and just find it easier & faster to stack starting the sliders at swivel end and just pull the sliders toward the drill.

Just got the Ohmega Beast Tank and a bunch of cheap premade coils. I unraveled 2 tiger coils and rewrapped them parallel 5wraps each 10 total around 4mm ID. Repeat for other side of deck. Ohms out at 0.17.

This was my first attempt at parallel coils. Also my first 30mm tank. I had trouble making the second side as clean as the first, and I may tinker with it, but I think it looks pretty good.

I finally got a job at smoke city and working with vape gear and helping beginners is pretty kool ;p. New wire and vape gear here I come!
@Dustyjeans nice job at those alien stags bro there looking good. I really want to practice those but I don't have 22g for decore atm, but soon!

Been working on getting enigmas down. Only using the alien wrap and a stitch and when I get it down ill try to interlock it with the stitch. My problem so far is the stretch.. I stretch it more than I would a normal alien (going for single 'hump' duno what tech term for it is) but it starts out with the double ''hump'' and then halfway through it fucks up and turns into the single ''hump''. I've been using 28g frames, 12x .3R, 40g Alien & stitch. Decored on 28g.
Just got around to using some quad aliens I made a while back, very tasty!
