Thanks @Khassy!

I knew about the catsup trick for copper, but the lemon/salt for brass is one I didn't know about. Why buy more stuff when you already have it at home...

vasoline is petroleum based and is good for chapped lips ;) Wright's and mothers has the same health hazard rating on the material data safety sheet (1-slight)
As long as you wipe off the excess and don't lick your mod (as tempting as that is sometimes)
Red rouge buffing compound with a dremmel buffing wheel is great as well.

Still won't trust it, Wrights is made to clean cookware so I trust it. Plus no solvent smell ;)

I use Wrights for copper and blitz silver polish for everything else.
After I polish I wipe everything with a damp cloth to remove any excess.

I also know that smell all to well and the taste of a brass drip tip. File 13'ed that drip tip!

Yep have a squonk mod that I have shelved because it has an unplated brass center Pin.
It is not only smell, it is taste as well.
Horrible.

So I have never even thought of getting a copper or brass atty.

When I started vaping about 5 years ago, I didn't know about how brass would affect the taste of e-liquid. I quickly found out about the nasty taste and smell. From that point on, I always looked at the 510 to see if it was brass and if it was coated to avoid that metallic taste.
