Thanks Anthony! I'm glad you chose to do this video since I know you've owned the device for a couple of months now.

I have this identical atty in the Innokin model and am having fits getting it to work without spitting huge globs of hot juice out the tip. I pulsed the coils just like you show in all your videos and have tried different amounts of cotton. I've tried it with low power (20 watts) and worked up 10 watts at a time all the way to 80 watts, no difference.

I've tried with 3mm 5 wrap fused claptons, and with 3mm 4 wrap single 24g KA1. Unless I need to buy some cotton bacon on payday, and keep trying wicking, I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

I've watched several videos on the MadDog as well as the Eurus (which I have) and the only difference I can see is the Cotton Bacon.

Could be. or it's an RDA could just be from over dripping. I'd suggest dripping less juice and making sure you don't drip directly on the coils. drip down the middle and let the juice work it's way up

Thanks to you, I THINK I figured it out. Maybe.

I believe I was overdripping, plus, I didn't clear the cotton from underneath the coils. I may have cut the tails too long and there was no air curculation to the coils. Coils were essentially lying in juice so instead of vaporizing, the juice had no choice but explode. After I took my tweezers and pushed the wick toward the sides of the deck it seems to be working better. The wick has no problem keeping up. After firing it 3 times until the G2 shut down, there's no indication of burning the cotton and it stopped popping so bad.

Yeah, I know...firing a mod until it shuts down is not a good idea, and it's not something I would do as a normal practice, but it was only 30 watts and the batteries didn't get warm at all.

LMAO dam 14mg is way to much for an RDA like this. I use 3 personally but you may be ok with 6. i wouldn't go higher then 6 though

Yeah! I haven't choked and coughed like this since I tried one of my brother in law's hand-rolled ""cigarettes"" back in the early 90's!

I 'll go ahead make 3mg and if it's not stout enough, just add a couple percent of nic to it. I really starting to enjoy this rda now, but the juice I have on hand until I can make some, is for the little tank I use on my isticks.

I've still got an issue or so to work out, but thanks to you, I'm at least getting started.

You may also need to raise the coils slightly to improve the airflow underneath them. Side airflow tends to work best, for me anyway, when the air comes in closer to the bottom of the coils.

After about 5 hits at 30 watts I was sweating. After I finally settled downk a little I ,put my tank back on.

The grandkids finally settled down for the night so I'll mix up some 3mg and give it another try.
