Juice consumption.

So I went from a Smok tfv8 Baby Beast to a tfv12 King Beast, which was an obvious (to me) mistake since I don't care at all about giant clouds and I also don't like spending crazy money on 60ml of juice every day. It's true. At the beginning I'd vape 10 tanks a day. Didn't seem horrible because I was spending $18 a day on cigarettes.

Anyway, I've realized (with the help of those far more experienced than me) that I could still enjoy vaping with an atty that sipped juice rather than chugged it like a sorority virgin.

I've done everything that I know to do to maximize low juice consumption. I'm using a single coil (26g kanthal, twisted, 6 wraps, .61 ohms) in a Goon v1.5 clone on a Wrecker G2 in tc mode, 200°f, 80w.

Just curious if there are other things I can do to lower consumption even more. My only caveat is that it must have all of the flavor that I'm used to.

Does an atty that is built for single coil get better efficiency than running a single in a double deck?

I think an atty built for single coil is definitely more efficient than a dual coil converted to single coil use. As for juice consumption the only way I think you can use less juice is to use lower wattage. Think about how much juice is required for you to fire at 80 watts. Just my opinion :)

I would run either the ammit or the Ijoy exo with a basic single clapton at 35-45 watts myself. Its a simple set up that works wonders in those tanks. I personally like the Exo more

I normaly use the ceramic Vaporesso EUC coil at app. 25-30 watts and it gives a lot of flavor and it also use a lot juice, I think. Thinking of buying a Ammit 25. Does a single coil RTA use a lot of juice?

I literally just built my Ammit 25 rta & it's so far not too bad on juice consumption. Single coils depends on what kind of coils at what ohms. If kept in the .47 & up and vaping at 28-34 watts consumption is not too bad. I think dual coils & big exotic coils in low ohms really drink the juice more than a single coil with a mid range coil & wattage

I almost bought the exo instead of the tfv12. I really wish I had. Rookie mistake. I've been looking at the ammit 25...

I wonder what uses less juice with my build. Tc at 80w or vw at 40+w. I need to do some testing and write down the results.

If you're comparing the single coil deck in the Exo Rta with the Ammit 25 Rta for juice consumption, all things being equal it's almost the same.

I wonder if the difference in consumption is worth buying something to replace my Kylin in single coil mode. Like how long would it take for the juice savings to pay for the ammit or exo. No real practical way to quantify that, especially since I'm getting into diy juice.

Another vote for the EXO. I run it on a G2 with SS staggered fused clapton coil @ .2 with the 6 mil tank and vape pretty much all day and go through 18 to 24 mils. I drive a lot during the day and would consider my style 1 or 2 steps below chain vaping.

I love my EXO with a single alien coil. I always use more than one device everyday, so I'll guestimate that I may go through 12-16mls if I stuck with the EXO for a whole day. That's around 10mls less than my daily average, so yeah it saves a bit.

My best advice would be to DIY your juice, if you don't already. Major money saver.

True, but neither is diy juice. I figure it would take a while to save the 30 bucks or whatever... :)

... but then again I'm a vaper and I like to buy new shiny bits. ;)

Thanks for the math jb. I think I'm on the border of full on chain vaper. 18/24 I can handle. I should spend some time figuring out how much juice I'm using dripping.

Just looked up my last DIY juice order(which was also my first lol)...I spent $66 on 4/29, and have about $12 worth of nic/base left. So I made roughly 1.25L of juice, for my wife and myself, for $44, and we still have a couple of week's worth of juice left to vape on. That's even better than I thought it was going to be lol. DIY, FTW!

Just reread and saw you just started DIY. You'll be saving plenty on juice to feed your shinyitis;)

I just tried Inner vape e-liquid heisenberg that provides in icy menthol flavor is a candy blend of blue ice pop is a good vaping candy and it made me feel like I was trying already vaping and you can also get this from smokinspades as they are providing a lot of different brands and in different flavors.

Easy try some nic salt juice. Crft salt line is very good. I went from 20mls a day down to 1ml. Using a simple myjet with the mentioned juice with a few puffs I'm satisfied like I blew massive clouds.

1ml? That's crazy... I think I'd just make myself sick over and over again. No self control.

There are many brands available for E-juice or Vape juice. That's why I've always confused !!..But I've recently found online one of the largest collection of E-juice or vape juice... Smokin Spades one of the best online vape store[/URL] and also physically stated at miami, florida is one the largest inventories for smokers or vapors!!

When I was using duel coil RDA's and sub ohm tanks I was vaping nearly 20mls of juice a day. I've since switched to single coils at half the wattage and I'm vaping around 5-7mls a day. I get the same enjoyment plus the added bonus of saving money.

I want a single coil rda that I can run simple wire coils and vape without so much heat. I still haven't completely figured out temp control on my Hohmwrecker yet.

I've read every post on both of those threads at least twice and watched every video I can find on the Hohmwrecker. There's got to be something I'm missing somewhere.

Right now I'm trying to get some good wicks in my rta, and once I get that done I'll go back through the threads again.

Appreciate you looking out, man!

Forgot about that thread, I too have a couple G2's I haven't even taken out of the box yet. Been sitting for over a year. Guess I bought them for the apocalypse, which hasn't shown up yet, but this time next year is a whole new ballgame.

The Hadley RDA is my go to. I have a pretty hefty alien in there right now and it ohms out at .3, a little lower than usual for me but at 40w, it's about perfect.

I've been diy for quite a while now. So I don't particularly care how much juice I go through, but any mtl i use saves enormous amounts of juice. My kayfun 5 clone, takes quite a while to go through a tank full, like 1 ohm kanthal build. A higher ohm and lower wattage will slow down juice use. I'm bad for switching daily between many flavors and setups.

I actually do make my own juice. Only thing is I only have one flavor, Coke Freeze which I bought because it's good as a single flavor. Absolutely have every intention of diy'ing everything I vape as soon as possible.

As for the Hohm Wrecker... I'm pretty green with tc, but I have mine set up perfectly (for me!). The easiest way I can explain using tc is:

Screw down your room temp atty to get a good read on the resistance.

Set your desired wattage and temperature. This is important before you start the next step.

Put the mod in xXx mode (the catchall mode for any wire. I use it whether I'm using ss or kanthal or anything else)

Put the fsk curve at 3 or so. Maybe lower.

Raise the curve .5 at a time until the mod will vape.

Find the sweet spot where it'll vape, and one point lower, will not. For example: say it'll vape at 4.8, but not at 4.7... You're golden.

For setting tc up it's (by far) easiest, for me, when using an rda because you have to re-drip often and the coils start going dry often. Set up the way I do it, it should not vape as soon as the cotton starts to go dry.

Not getting dry hits is my primary concern using tc.

The hw g2is awesome!

Weird. I bought a 30ml bottle of Banana liquid today and grabbed the 12mg stuff instead of the usual 6mg. I figured it would go a lot further, but I seam to be vaping the same amount. Maybe I'll try even higher?

I've come to the conclusion that I can't afford to vape on a RDA all day everyday lol
Really? I still think I'm vaping less in the rda than my tanks. I haven't measured yet though so it's just speculation.

So my gf tried the 12mg stuff last night and she didn't feel any difference either. I think I'll buy some vg from Liquid Barn and get something high in nic to mix with my 6mg.

yeah it's hard to say. I think I'm going through more dripping than tanks but I dunno. All I know is I'm going through my supply for the month too damn fast.

Is your 12mg some you bought, or some you made? If you bought it, you might've gotten cheated on the nic.

Bought. One thing I noticed is that the juice I have looks darker than in the pics of the same product. In pics it's very light brown, mine is dark brown. Who knows, maybe it's old, although the store owner (great guy. He gave me a stack of cotton squares, free drinks and a free 30ml. Said come in whenever and you don't need to buy anything) said that they do not sell old juice at all.

In any case, I tried chain vaping fairly hard for a couple of minutes and got sick. My girl got sick today too. I think 12mg is perfect unless 9mg is even better. Time shall reveal all.

That's usually the way I do it. Hit several good draws and hold it in and right about the time I feel myslf getting light-headed but just bafore I get nauseous, then I'm good for 30-45 minutes. :)

Just whipped up around 800mls in total a couple days ago, should last awhile :D not sure if my problem is consumption or compulsive mixing haha

View attachment 86679

Probably both. I know I'm that way. I made so much juice in the last 6 months that I started giving a bunch away. It was bothering me I had juice I wasn't using as my tastes have changed. The bonus is I now have more room in my juice cabinet for my new mixes. Oh Lordy!!!

All right guys this is what I do. https://flavour-boss.co.uk buy premixed flavours and only add VG and PG and nicotine. You get all the flavours already mixed up by geniuses and the rest you can take care of by yourself pretty easily. I literally save a ton of money can vape as much as I want. I hope you guys try it out and find out I'll seriously low cost vaping can be :)

Juice consumption is directly related to the size of your coil and the wattage you run it at . Bigger and higher equals more juice used...... Unless vaping unregulated OHM doesn't matter.

40 year PAD smoker.. While I will play with high watt builds my ADV is 25watts or less. I use less than 10ml per day.... I get great flavor and enough clouds for the wife to complain about them.
Current vape is Nectar tank with a 26awg 316L .5ohm coil running at 25watts 400f, or VW at 17watts with preheat of 150%. FWIW my other active tank is an Avocado built at 1.1ohm 28SS same mod settings.

The key is DIY juice and builds. Both can be adjusted to maximize performance of the other while minimizing consumption.
