I've never been able to get past the massive horn switch on the hex, everything else looks and feels great from my limited experience.

what happened here?
Selfish children are still having a snit-fit in your thread while the flames have been
continually fanned by a discredited malcontent who forgot to shave...
Belated happy birthday Tony:wave:

Both sides need to get over it and ignore the unshorn provocateuse.

I wanna try a hex... or any SXK(?) powered mod... (that's the chip in the Hex, right?)

My issue is the SIIZE of the danged things! :gaah:They are all huge!
106 mm tall??? Yeow!

I'm really hoping these get smaller.

the hexohm is a OKL board
its basically variable voltage limited from 3v to 6v even thought the batteries ar ein series which should give you 8.4v

Thanks.
Okay, that too! :) I wanna try one!
But no matter how good they vape, the mods with these boards are all still just too big for me.

I want smaller mods! :gaah:

get Mikhail Naumov to build you a custom box. Most okl boards are tiny and can fit into a much smaller mod then the hexohm

KingPin!

In my defence, I was left unsupervised ^^

I know this was posted a while ago now but just in case anyone ever reads this thread ^^ modder mentioned above went AWOL with people's money or failed to deliver functional mods so buyer beware....happened after that post but wanted to just make sure others don't try and get burnt by it

Wow I had no idea that was going on. Was it sales through the forum or somewhere else?

The OKL board is a dc-dc buck converter, meaning it will take a higher voltage and lower it to give you what you ask of it. That's the reason that it's not a PWM device, the single coming out of it is a flat line.

As for a life time mod, I would go with a hex ohm. It's a simple device that can be user serviceable. That being said there's nothing wrong with DNA devices, but the do have an expiration date, and the only way to get them back and running is to replace the board.
