Initial Impressions and features
When I first got this RTA, like always i took it apart and cleaned it up. I was impressed with how easy it was to get apart, all the threading was great. The fill cap has a nice raised and textured feel so it’s easy to grip and take apart. It comes with the clear o-rings and the 510 top and 2ml capacity. While i tried many ways, ultimately for me i settled on the 810 top for my matching tip i had, the blue o-rings, and the 5ml capacity. Flavor loss from the extended glass was extremely minimal (barely noticeable) and well worth the extra 3ml capacity. I went with the blue option as I don’t have many blue atomizers and the color is beautiful. And not many atomizers come in that color. I really liked the fact they went with a full top cap for the 810 adapter instead of the normal “step down ring” we see from a lot of atomizers. It felt like the typical geekvape product which is a good thing as it means really good quality at a reasonable price.

Build Deck (pics above)
Lets talk about the build deck now. The deck is a single coil only deck, and features offset post screws to allow for a small to medium sized coil. There is more then enough room to fit up to a 4mm ID coil. But the restricted air and small chamber means you don’t need to go too massive. Ultimately i settled on a 3mm ID coils 5 wraps of “fancy” wire. The posts have 2 separate designs. One has a hole that the 1st lead must be put in 1st. This makes building really easy it it aligns your coils for you. The screws are slotted but good quality and come top down. Great for thick flat wires like fused claptons. The 2nd post is open on the side and you can slide the lead in and screw down. It’s one of the easiest decks to build on and great for people just getting into RTAs. the airflow has a true bottom air like the pharaoh and also a side air like the original ammit. The side air is position under the coils so it’s more like an extra bottom air hitting the coil from 3 points. Wicking is straightforward and easy. Just put your coton leads in the large channels and you are good to go. No need to overstuff or try any tricks. It wicks very well on it’s own.

Performance
Performance wise, I found the flavor to be above average for single coil tanks. While it didn’t knock my socks off, it’s still one of the best single coil RTAs on the market. There could have been some improvements for flavor like making the chamber conical instead of flat, but outside of that everything else is designed really nice for flavor. Airflow is more restricted than a pharaoh but it’s still a true DTL RTA then can be throttled down to a RLH (restrictive lung hit) if that’s your preference. While it doesn't have the highest potential of flavor, it benefits from not needing massive builds to reach it’s potential. Meaning you can use it at lower watts with simpler builds and still get great flavor, increasing battery life and lowering juice consumption. The flavor loss from going to 5ml capacity from 2ml capacity is minimal and not noticeable to most. The 510 adapter works better for flavor as well due to the chimney diameter being the “choke point” but the flavor loss from the 810 is minimal as well. So feel free to use it to your preference.

Overall Impressions
Overall I was very impressed with this RTA, the build quality like usual for geekvape is impressive. The color is beautiful, the threading is all very smooth. It’s very easy to disassemble thanks to good o-rings and well designed parts. The build deck is great for beginners and it doesn't need a massive build like the pharaoh to get the most out of it. The options of a 810/510 cap is great it can handle very thick juices with no issues as well. It can be used as a 2ml mini or 5ml RTA. Also while it features the standard press fit JFC in my month of having it i didn’t experience a single drop of seepage. Nor did i ever have a leak or dry hit. It’s very easy to build and wick with a wide margin of error. It’s a great RTA for beginners and advanced users alike.

Pros:
  • Build Quality
  • Price Point (under 30 bucks)
  • 510 tip with an 810 tip adapter that’s a full top cap
  • easy to use build deck
  • Color options and looks
  • Above average flavor
  • No leaks or seepage
  • Doesn't need a huge build to get max flavor
  • 2ml and 5ml capacity options
Cons:
  • Flavor didn’t knock my socks off
Conclusion
So with all that said, do I recommend this RTA? I don’t like doing the hard yes or no but this one leans heavily towards the yes. I struggled to find any cons with this device and the quality feels much better than it should be at the price point it is. The ease of use, the above average flavor at the price point makes it a great RTA for beginners and advanced vapers alike. It’s one of the best single coil RTAs on the market. I’ll be adding this to my spreadsheet.

For good recommendations feel free to check out my google sheet of recommendations located here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1c4MZ2xYBE-1-0A6rLYY46OHtzHCM-roJINpxghmhzXM/edit?usp=sharing this sheet will be updated regularly so feel free to bookmark it. It has 3 tabs one for juice, one for mods, and 1 for attys

I want to thank you guys for reading (or watching or both). Stay tuned later this week for more reviews. Tomorrow I’ll be reviewing the Lost Vape Drone.

So which (if any) single coil tanks do have flavor that knocks your socks off? (I much prefer the singles)
The pharaoh would be my pick. it's likely the only single coil RTA to make my top 5 list when i update it. it does require a big build and a lot fo watts though so it really depends on the user
