A few weeks ago, efun.top contacted me and asked me to review a product for them if they sent it to me. Now being the person I am, who often picks on the reviews I see online, I was hesitant, but decided I would do it so I could have the opportunity to do a review my way. I received the Augvape Druga RDA and here is my review
How I vape
First, the most important thing for me to tell you is my vaping style
I have been vaping for over 7 years.
I DIY all my juice using mainly FA and RF flavorings. I have 7 recipes I vape on all day, some of which are single flavors profiles. I use max VG and at this time I am using nicotine from Chemnic.com
My usual NIC level is between 4-6mg
I use 6 devices (mods) all day long they are:
IPV D2
IPV 3LI
IPV 5
and 3 Xohm Dimebox PWM mods/
I use RTAs and RDTAs exclusively.
I DO NOT DRIP
I was actually disappointed they chose this item for me to review The only RDA I have ever owned is a Petri 22mm clone. It is in my vapocolpyse stash in case everything else I own is broken. I barley like the flavor I get from it and have been considering finding a replacement for it in my vapocolpyse stash
I dislike the whole idea of dripping
I have considered squoking but as of yet have not found a suitable setup to try it.
Please keep this in mind, that someone with more experience with RDAs may have a different opinion then me.
I use:
3- Griffin 22mm
1 Griffin 25mm mini
and 2 Limitless Plusi.
On all of my attys with the exception of the Griffin 25 mini I use premade clapton wire I get from advancedvapesupply.com It is 316L 28/32
I wrap dual coils at 4mm ID and about 8 wraps for a approximate resistance of .6 ohms
On the Griffin 25 mini I can't seem to get 4mm ID coils in it so I shrink my normal coils down to 3.5mm ID everything else is the same
I find all 3 of these attys give me the best possible flavor of the things I have used including vgod trick tank, merlin, mage, and a few others
I vape on my IPV mods at about 50 watts. On my PWM mods which are dual 18650s my potentiometer is usually at 50%
I only vape in power mode. I never do TC.
I vape about 15ml of juice a day.
I use Muji Cotton
This is how I have been vaping for at least a year or more.
FLAVOR
Instead of starting off telling you all about this RDA, lets get to the most important information. Nothing else about and RDA or any type of atty matters if the flavor is bad, weak, or otherwise.
The method I used to test the flavor was simple, I removed the coils I have been using in one of my Limitless Plusi and installed them into the Druga. I then dry burned them, wicked and used my brownie flavor juice I have in another Limitelss Plus with the exact same coils.
This way I could directly compare the flavor between the two attys.
After experimenting with the airflow, the flavor from the Druga is nearly identical to the Limitless Plus.
I am actually pleasantly surprised by this, because I have been having no luck finding anything that competes with my current setups. I am not prepared to say the flavor is EXACTLY the same, because it is a hair different but not in a less or more flavor way, just in a airflow way. I will say I get as much flavor on a DRUGA using the same coils I use in all my RTAS as I do in 3 different RTA/RDTAs
I have also tested it with my Black Licorice recipe and find the flavor spot on with my other attys. However when using my peach mango recipe, I found the flavor to be somewhat less. Still flavorful but not as flavorful as my other attys.
Now that I feel its worth continuing the review because you can achieve great flavor, let's move on to the rest of the usual information.

Mike has been helping us to design this RDA at the very beginning. A design that we have not seen before in RDA and probably in most atomizers engineering. DRŪGA RDA is the 1st atty which use CSS ( Clamp Snag System ) for it dual posts to make your coils installation easy peasy, Allows for a Wider Variety of Coil Structure Compatibility.
The Deck
This uses a unique deck, The Clamp Snag Syentem. Two posts that have thumb screws with phillips head tops. The posts are U shaped and the coils just slide right in. As the manufacturer's description states, this is the first atty to have this deck.
I would imagine being able to put some massively large coils in this. My claptons went in with tons of room to spare.
However, I am not a big fan of the deck itself. When installing coils I removed from a velocity deck, it was a serious PITA, because the legs were already trimmed. Trying to hold both coils in place at the same time while tightening either screw is a feat. But using coils with the legs not trimmed makes it easier. What makes it even easier, is to have a coil rod in each coil to help you control the coils.
It is also annoying to me that as I build one coil, install it, pinch it, heat it etc etc etc. You have to loosen the post screws and repeat the process and while doing so you risk the first coil falling out. Now if you are fairly experienced at coil building and using 2 post decks, this probably will not be an issue for you. But if your used to velocity style decks then this deck is harder to use. I think I could get used to it but I much prefer a velocity style deck.
The fact that you can use your fingers to get the post screw tight is very nice and makes this deck more manageable.
You do need to go back and use a screwdriver to fully tighten the screws.
I read and saw most reviewers are saying the heads are shallow and could be deeper, but I do not agree. They seem just fine to me.
In comparison to installing coils in a Druga verses my 2 post Petri clone RDA, The Druga is easier by a good amount in my opinion. I think this can be attributed to the large post holes and the shape of the screws combined with the ability to finger tighten them. The knurling on the screws goes a long way in making this easier as well.
In conclusion, this is not the worst or hardest to use deck I have used. It is better then most but not as easy as a velocity deck.
How much juice does it hold?
I have not measured the exact amount. I have a good bit of cotton in it, possibly too much. I can manage to get on average 8 good pulls at about 3-4 seconds before I find I need to redrip. There is room under the coils to hold juice, but I found that if I put any extra juice down in there, when I raise the atty to my lips that juice just starts running out the airflow hole. A more experienced RDA user may be able to do better then I.
Also if you get your coils too wet, be prepared for some spit back.

Does it get hot?
When I first started using it, I was chain vaping on it, so it got pretty hot. Using the short ultem drip tip, I practically burned my lips. But after just using it in rotation with my other devices, it does not seem to get hot, under my normal vaping conditions. It does heat up much faster then a RTA or RDTA, but I think that is to be expected since this is all metal and nothing to really help dissipate the heat.
I find my Petri clone RDA does pretty much the exact same thing.
Drip Tips
It comes with 3 options:
A low profile short wide bore ultem
A plastic black one that is just like the ones found on griffins and limitless plusi
and a 510 adapter.
The 2 Drip Tips are goon or 810 style meaning no orings. They do not fit on a griffin. But a griffin or limitless plus DT will fit on the DRUGA.
You can use other Goon DTs and most 510 DTs
I found the ultem DT to be a hair more airy and a less restrictive draw versus the griffin style one. I prefer the taller Griffin style since all 6 attys I use daily use that same type of DT. However the ultem was better than I expected for something so open and short. But it is a lot to wrap your lips around. I found it slightly uncomfortable at first but got more comfortable with it the more I used it.
Airflow Control
The AFC is the top cap that the DT plugs inside. There is no knurling or anything to help you get a grip on it. It was actually quite difficult to turn at first, but after a while it loosened up nicely and is easy. If you get juice or something on your hands or the top cap though its quite slippery and hard to turn.
