Correct way to build a SS coil.. You judge...

The correct way is the way that works for you.. Beyond that he's right spaced coils get less hot spots.... mainly because they are caused by wire touching wire. And the excessive use of wattage.. Beyond that meh.

Ss316L sure had a great pristine flavor balance; there's something I taste when I vape SS that I don't taste with other resistance wire/metal,
But admittedly I've only vaped/built
Ni80, Ka1, ss316L, Ni200, ni60 and one other type of Kanthal (not Ka1)

I'll have to watch this when I get chance, mike is my favourite reviewer hands down.
I find it amazing that he can estimate how accurate a mod is without doing a test.
I remember once him saying the mod felt 10 watts underpowered an I checked with a chart I had for it on my PC an sure enough he was bob on! That's definitely a skill :D

Have you checked out "AnthonyVapes?" He always runs tech tests on everything he reviews, like diagnostic tests, and always
is 100% honest and trustworthy on
his reviews of mods/toppers or whatever he reviews because he buys almost all of it with his own money

Yeah, he may not have all the nice equipment for testing like Daniel, but he is intuitive. You can tell when he really doesnt like
something he is reviewing w/o him actually saying it.... Him and Daniel are the only 2 i watch....

Anthony, mike and Daniel myself cos all the others are just after money and call every mod they review brilliant. So full of bullshit!

I watch mostly build vids nowadays, but I still like to check out what's being sold & used in the Vaping community, I watched Matt and Vee'sVee' s
"Suck my Mod" YouTube channel yesterday (Fri) Matt reviewed the "Flow Tank" and the Vaping Biker is as good as any out there, but for *building* I like OhmBoy OC and Josh and Mind_forge / Build_More and a lot more

I have never used Ti or Ni, just ss in TC, but mostly, VW with kanthal. I have noticed that ss wire is getting more popular though.

I don't think Ni200 and Ti have good enough flavor to risk your health, but I'm certain there's got to be folks out there who love both. ..

I agree, I sure can't do it! I'm a fairly skilled builder tho, man I love making coils... there's just something therapeutic about spinning up wire on my drill

I've only watched one vaping biker one but he seems very underrated. Doesn't get as many views as he should if you ask me.
I need to watch some building videos myself an check out some RDA'S cos I'm behind with what's new

I love RDA'S but cos I shake alot it can be hard for me. I'm always glad when it's over. Definitely not therapeutic for me!!

Aw, yeah, ss316L is flying off the shelves everywhere, it's a hot item, and if you ask me, it's a tad easier to work with making more elaborate coils, and *Those Colors Tho!*
I keep my builds simple, don't need complex builds :) fused claptons do job but I recently bought an ud athlon tank to see how TC is before I splash out on some ss wire an gotta say I loved it. Firs time using TC

Me too.. I tried those expensive exotic coils from Kidney Puncher at like, $10 per coil, and was not blown away...
So, i been using ss316 26/32ga clapton wire spools and just making my own using the Coil Master jig set...

I can tell the difference between clapton and plain round wire though... the clapton wire produces more vapor and
better taste...

That's coincidental, me too (recent interest in TC)
I need to upload the 'Arctic Fox' firmware for my reuleaux's, I heard that's really good TC .. I recently got a skyhook from Smok but it's TC doesn't seem all thAt great,... I have 3 Wismec and their TC does okay, but my buddy who is a fanatical TC guy says the Arctic Fox fix makes them even better

Good thing about ss is it can also be used in power mode & the coil master kits are a life saver!

I totally agree, clapton definitely has better flavour than plain round wire.
But lately I've just been using my big baby.
My mate has been on the road for past couple days an my goon needs recoiling. Arthuritic nerves in my hands make building such a chore :(

I was much the same, I thought
"These fancy builds are b.s."
But some are and some are NOT, like for instance, right now I have a Goon with framed staple , a Goon with staple staggered fused Clapton, and another other goon with fused claptons, right in front of me right now, and the framed staple and SSFC are blowing the 3rd one with a simple FC outta the water for taste and vapor production

I've put the Artic Fox software on my pico and will be putting it on my wismec mods next. I use it for power curves not TC though but it's very good. Recommend it for sure!!

It's cool he's in tomorrow :)

Thx, i have a Lost art goon, a v1.5 and a v4
#TeamGoon for ever! Haha.... love my goons, I want a titanium and a black & good goon asap but I spend a lot of money on wire and building stuff
*high five* I only have two but will be getting more at some point for backups.
It's the only RDA I use now! Flavour is amazing & to make it even better the clouds are plenty!!

Alright. Since everyone is in love with ss wire, advance vape supply is giving 25% off this labor day weekend. I just spent $50

Ummm, that's interesting, i tried them, i mean the staggered fused clap's, and they were good, but not worth the $$$.. it may have been
just my build.. I find myself screwing up with wicking or even coil heating sometimes.. but i can usually tell right away and re-build it....

Were are u getting your SSFP's from?

Oh, and I dont have a Goon RDA, but have their style RDA's.. it seems to be a standard by which other's are compared, like Kennedy....
It seems when someone gets something hot and right, everyone else will follow....

I don't order ss coils or wire from anyone but AVS anymore. Love those guys. My favorites are 3 core fused Clapton in Nano and staggered fused Clapton in goon clone. I also like spooled Clapton to change it up. Keep one Nano coiled with 2 core fused Clapton for quicker ramp up.

Do they sell spools of staggered fused clap's there?

Not sure. I'm lazy, only wrap simple Clapton or twisted wires. Usually just order prebuilt coils, 13-15.00 for 10 coils good for me. They last so long.

LOL!! I prefer to make my own, but if I found someone who makes them like I do, I would buy them....
