Initial Impressions and features
When I first got this RDA i was impressed with the build quality and the looks and design. The included sqounk pin was a huge bonus as well. I used it as a sqounker right away. I received the black one which always looks great with the gold deck. The deck itself is postless which, while i personally love and works great, won’t be the easiest for new builders. It has an airflow that goes through the build deck much like the “o-Atty” but a 24mm version of it that can be run in dual or single coil. All in all, it looked pretty good from the start.

Build Deck (pics above)
Lets talk about the build deck now. It features a postless deck with some fairly large post holes. Personally I love postless decks, but due to having to pre-cut your leads, they aren’t the easiest for new builders. It’s 24k gold plated and looks beautiful. It has 4 post holes and can be run in both single and dual coil configurations easily. The screws are large great quality hex screws and should last a long time. Very good post screws. The juice well is 3mm deep so a little shallow but if you sqounk that won’t be an issue. Due to the side air, you’ll want to position your coil where the bottom of the coil lines up with the airflow hole. All in All i really love the build deck. On a sidenote it has a protruding 510 pin so is safe for hybrid mechs.

Performance
Performance wise, I ran multiple builds in this RDA from simple round 22 gauge single and dual coils, simple round 26 gauge single and dual coils, and several fancy wire single and dual coils (staggered fused clapton pictured above). I mostly used the RDA as a sqounking RDA, only using it as a traditional RDA once. I found that the airflow is quite restricted, especially for a 24mm RDA. It can work with dual 26 Gauge round wire coils, but the 22 gauge and fancy one’s proved to be too large for the airflow. The smaller single coils didn’t produce enough vapor and wound up being muted flavor. I found it best to use as a large fancy single RDA or as a smaller coils (like the 26 guage) dual coil RDA. Preferably a large single coil RDA. As a dual coil RDA i found the flavor to be well below average. There just isn’t enough air for the large chamber to support builds the chamber size needs. As a big fancy single coil RDA i found the flavor to be a little below average still but the best the RDA can provide (like the build pictured above) Sadly it’s a case of not enough air for the chamber size. Also it is a really loud RDA that can “whistle” when vaping if you suck hard enough, which i found annoying and i’m sure others will as well. I think they would have been better off increasing the airflow ideally, or at worst case going with a 22mm single coil only like the pulse RDA. It’s a case of trying to do 2 configurations and not doing either particularly well. On the positive side, the RDA never really gets hot even when chain vaping.

Overall Impressions
Overall I was very impressed with looks, style and build quality. And the crazy amount of color options including an ultem top. The machining is great, and it feels like something that should cost much more than it does quality wise. Sadly though the lack of performance will keep me from using this RDA. It’s a shame as a few minor tweeks would have made this a must have RDA and a steal at the price point. But instead it winds up being a nice quality RDA, that can’t perform good enough to make my rotation.

Pros:
  • Build Quality
  • Price Point (under 30 bucks)
  • Ultem 810 tip
  • Postless Deck with great post screws
  • Color options and looks
  • Included Sqounk Pin
Cons:
  • Flavor is below average to well below average depending on the build
  • Loud RDA that can whistle when sucking hard
Conclusion
So with all that said, do I recommend this RDA? While I don’t like to do hard yes or no, this one is going to lean towards the no. I think the price and quality is great but at the end of the day, it’s all about performance for me and if an atomizer can't perform, it won’t make my recommendations. If they come out with a DPRO 2 with a few adjustments like i talked about earlier it’ll likely be a killer RDA and get a yes from me, but this version just lacks the performance for me to put my name on it.

For good recommendations feel free to check out my google sheet of recommendations located here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1c4MZ2xYBE-1-0A6rLYY46OHtzHCM-roJINpxghmhzXM/edit?usp=sharing this sheet will be updated regularly so feel free to bookmark it. It has 3 tabs one for juice, one for mods, and 1 for attys

I want to thank you guys for reading (or watching or both). Stay tuned for more reviews

Big thanks again to coil art for sending me this for review. This has been Anthony vapes just keeping it honest, hopefully you all can say the same, and I’ll catch you on my next review.
