i have been looking into making a vape mod that does not use a battery .

I have watched several you tube videos on this but am a little wary of using a computer power supply is there any way I could put a potentiometer. on a psu I know they come with 3 5 and 12 volt rails but I would like to adjust for my sub ohm vaping somewhere between 0.1 to 0.5 and not have to have a crazy coil . this would be very useful for me I vape heavy and am tired of worrying about charging batts . I just want the best possible way to make safe and fun .

i got sidetracked and never completed a similar goal, maybe you can finish the job,, there are a few options for power,,, watch the amps,,,i decided to aim for 5-10 amps

I think 5 amps should suffice I am currently vaping on a limitless parallel 8 wrap duel coil at 0.21 ohms at 85 watts does really well it is sitting about 4.22 volts sso that would be about right . the only problem I for see would be changing my coil configuration wich does happen I get bored and then hop to something else . I was thinking of using all rails on the psu 2 5 and 12 and depending on what I am vaping on I would choose the rail to . just a thought

So you're just looking for something to lounge around the house and have a stationary vape? I'd hate to have to lug that around and have to find a power outlet just to be able to vape. Unless I had a mancave with a recliner, coffee table and a big TV. In that case I would personally look into the hookah setup from aspire. I could be wrong but I think you can plug it directly into the wall and not have to worry about batteries
