Try a simple build of 3.5mm id 24g SS316L 6/7 wrap. Have fun. The Pico squeeze is an excellent starter squonk!

I don't have any SS wire yet, but I did do the rest of what you said. 3.5mm, 24g 6/7 wrap. It's working pretty well. Thanks! I do have another squonker, an Inbox, which I recently got and really love. Now I need to get more. lol

Yeah, the 50 watt limit of the squeeze will provide you some safety. But before moving to any full mech know your shit

a general rule of safety is keep it above .3 ohms. There is soooooooo much more to this though... If in doubt ask nice people like us!

You know what, I'm gonna try that build right now in my solo just for shits and giggles. It's a fucking lava spitting monster lately... Not fun!

To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of mine either. I'm thinking that round wire builds might be best with this guy. I've got a 316L 26/36 ,7 wrap 3mm ID coil which comes to .3 ohms and it's a little too hot for my fruit juices.

Heya Squonkoz!!
How ya been?
Just popped on here real quick to sell my SXMini G, success!
Work is absolutely crazed.. but my French is improving.. I'm fully on French time now, working completely opposite hours, good for keeping up on the Euro squonk stuff on Facebook but I'm trying to be good. I did pick up the Entheon though, it arrived today. No time for it now...I need to be ready to leave for Paris anytime, but hopefully won't be until February. ...miss alla the banter with youse. I'll play catch up at some point but just saw the most recent page of posts.. FYI the Titanium Flave 22 will be $100 plus shipping.
Big squonky hugs to everyone
Cheers!

Yoda and the Haku..

I was running 3.5mm 24g 316L 6/7 wrap in my solo. Chickened out on the 1.3ohm (on vacation and i only have 24g on me) so i did a 10 wrap n80 @ 2.5mm. should read about .60 ohm. much, much better in the solo with airflow about half open... Try that? Once home I'll look into building it with single 1.8mm micro coil 28g build.

Just hit this .60 ohm build again oh yeah... This is better

I have the Hadaly and I feel it has a tight draw...but to each their own...I didn't move towards the Flavor chasing side of vaping til recently, was more of the middle ground guy Clouds and Flavor with RDAs and Tube mechs... Slowly weening off the low builds... I might find the Hadaly now to be about right...just annoys me the tiny drip tips and shit these newer "Flavor" RDAs are coming out with... Should just call it what it really is... "Over priced Flaming Hot Tiny drip Tips and or Top caps that will Annoy you!" " And if you act now within the next 6:19 will throw in FLAVOR, just pay separate shipping and handling"
Haha yeah I'm basicly how you used to be. I like a good big hit with good flavor as well. I believe the Entheon takes a bigger drip dip as well, not just a small. Idk... if I don't like it I'm sure someone will buy it lol

Signature drip tips are the shit with the Hadaly - also like the ultem cap that Psyclone sometimes sells -

I was really surprised with the Hadaly, thought it would be awful for heat, but was pleasantly surprised, but I didn't go for wild coils or super hot builds. In fact, hot builds are super avoided in Juicy's world, lol

Why is it I always want a color combination that isn't available... I'm looking for a black enclosure with a purple translucent door. Just to make this even more impossible, I'd like it to take 20700 battery.
Does anyone know where I can have this made? I've been selling a lot of my gear and have some cash available to spend.
Have you checked svf? They're kinda pricey but I got mine tonight and it's beautiful and hits like a monster! Fully engraved derlin and I've seen a few different purple doors. Plus you can have many many make any doors you want...

What's your go to build in a Hadaly? I'm getting impatient with mine... Love it but over squonking is an hourly occurrence! I got into squonking to avoid the mess of dripping FFS!!!

Yeah, saw those calculators. No clue where to get the parameters to put in it or what the other things mean. lol Toldja I was stupid.

In a mech, the voltage is the actual voltage of the battery, which starts at 4.2v and decreases as the battery loses charge. The ohms is the coil resistance; with just those 2 figures, you can determine the amperage (current, or "I") necessary from your battery. It's safe to use sub-ohm builds, if you're using those Samsung 25R's you posted earlier, just don't go nuts with the .02 or similar super-low resistance coils -- for instance, I think you said you prefer stainless to kanthal? I'm told that those are best at about .5-ish ohms, whether or not you're using temp-control -- stainless can be used in any type of vaping.

I wish you'd stop calling yourself an idiot, because you're decidedly NOT -- you raised 2 children and you somehow manage to put up with the Dementor, so you're a better woman than I am. :D I only raised one, and the last 4 months of my mom's life, I didn't see nor talk to her, because the two of us couldn't interact without a violent argument ensuing, over her choice of sugar-filled diet (she was a very sick diabetic, which is what killed her -- so I won that argument, she really did kill herself with her diet, but y'know, I'd just as soon have lost that argument.).

ABS on a UP Plus 2 printer. Design is my own (drawn in FreeCAD), this one is V2.3 but I have V3.2 printed and just building it today (although I do need to brush up on my soldering skills for when I tackle the mosfet :eek: )
Where do i sign up? Will fit a 21700?

Thanks for the explanation! @So619Cal has been helping me try to understand, too, although I fear he's had an uphill battle. :) And thanks for the encouragement, too. I don't mean I'm an idiot about everything, just about stuff like math and mechanical engineering and whatnot. I figured out how to use the Steam Engine coil wrapping thingamajigger, but ohms and resistance and all the other terms throw me for a loop. :D

Think I'm using a triple fused clapton 28/36 - haven't had to build a new coil for it since June though it gets pulsed and rewicked weekly and I use it most of the day, everyday

It's a .8 ohm build, looks like I probably made it 2.5 ID, five or six wraps

Is yours authentic or a clone? My authentic ones drain perfectly and no over squonking - and I use super squishy bottles these days

Kinda crazy in how Modmaker now sells every thing but the body to make a squonker. And I wouldn't be surprised if they launch one real soon

So, @AndriaD has recently informed me that I'm an idiot and lucky I didn't blow my face off. Well, not in those exact words, but same same. ;) Turns out that my Pico Squeeze is a mech and I shouldn't have been using subohm builds on it. Who knew? I've also not tried using a single coil build for anything, which I probably should have tried sooner.

So, does this look like it should be okay? It's my first time building something that's not like .28 or so.

Sigh...While risky it isn't an automatic boom goes the dynamite type thing.Also the Pico Squeeze isn't a mech it has a (MOSFET).

I did notice it doesn't seem to care much for my clapton coils, so I've just been using single wire coils that I made myself. I figured it was either me doing something wrong or needing a better/different rda. :) I need to get some SS wire, though. All I have is kanthal.
The wire type wouldn't matter.
The best work around would be to use either a (Triple Twisted Wire) or use a (Parallel Coil)
Good Luck

Don't sweat the terms.
Simple Ohms Law Explained Below.

0.9 - Sub-ohm vaping starts here!
0.8 through 0.5 - Safe
0.4 = Risky
0.3 = Are you nuts?
0.2 = Don't even think about it!
0.1 = Just go ahead and call the EMT'S first.
0.09 or Lower = !! BOOM !!
