I knew it would compare to the rich cinnamon in strength, hence the price. But I'm very interested in the actual flavor. Some vanillas just aren't as close to a true vanilla essence as I'd like. I hate paying $2-$4 for a small bottle of crap, so if I paid $17 and it was still crap, I'd be one angry puppy. Truthfully, I wouldn't have the rich cinnamon but bought it from a vendor for $7.49, before they figured out Flavorah insisted on certain MSRPs. The price doubled before I could grab more.

I just got my new Flavorahs, and the red velvet smells OOO LA LA!! If one were blindfolded they would swear they were smelling a big piece of cake...I can't wait to lay the cream cheese icing to it.... :p
Note of caution: the drop on the finger test left me tasting ground up peach seeds with the nectarine, which tells me this one may very well be good at 1-2% standalone. Smells dreamy though. And the brulee smells of rich cream and burnt sugar, as a brulee would taste. But don't even lick a drop off your finger. Just don't....:blech:...lol!

I got their Frosting last week. I mixed it up with some of their Cupcake Batter. I'm giving it a week so I'll get to it over the next couple of days and let you know how it is. I've tried the CCI and it just doesn't work for me. :(

Today's vape mail included some FLV Red Velvet Cake flavor. I am glad to learn there is no need for me to report my mixing results and can continue in my lazy slacker ways.

I was thinking the FLV @ 3%
and the FLV @ 3% plus 1% FLV Frosting
and the FLV @ 3% plus 1% LA Creme Cheese Icing
and the FLV @ 3% Plus 1% Cap Buttercreme.

Thanks!

Can't it be both? :bliss:

You love the INW Creme Brûlée?

It's good and works as advertised. I would not go as far as "love" though. Probably because I am not often that big of a creme/custard fanboy.

Think red velvet at 2% or less. I did a 2% standalone today and it's very potent! Truthfully, I think 1-1.5% would be plenty and even then I'm not sure how it will age. If it picks up strength, even that may be too strong. I added 1% cream cheese icing to the remainder of the 30ml tester I'd made (minus around 5ml in the tank I had just tried), and it's pretty rich. Very good, but rich.

I was planning 3% based on the flavor review I saw on the net ( https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/72bfxy/flv_red_velvet/) suggesting 3-4% standalone. Now I'm going to be mixing with 1.5% for all. (After a nice nap :))

We all know about the subjective taste thing, you may like yours a little richer. And it tastes so authentic I hate to use the word "stronger" for taste. It's rich...and tasty!

A very fine suggestion! Having made and much enjoyed many of the recipes you have been so kind to post here (to your exact specified flavor amounts); our flavor level desires match up just about perfectly. In addition, I've always found it easier to add more flavor (if necessary) than to ramp up the recipe.

Thanks Again!

Reorganizing my site soon.. so pardon everything!!! Thanks for the mentions @gopher_byrd :p

I do use drops.. each flv bottle drop is like this

per 1ml = 50

1 drop = .02grams or .02mls

I am also uploading a massive pile of flv recipes to elr, if you want to take a peek thru..
Tired here, but here is a link to one, follow the trail :)
http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/1919117/Smoky Blue's Sour Apple Mellow

Maybe this will help better too.. hope so!

For a mixer who now has none of those FLV recipe flavors, ordering them all from BCF will certainly "help better" to obtaining Free Shipping for their order....:)

It's fun to collect them all, Ron! Like Pokemon and Pringles, one can simply not have enough good flavors!

Collect them all?

Well...I just don't see me ever buying any FLV Wood Spice (@ $12.49 )..so getting them all might be tough. :) I still have not caved to getting any FLV Brie Cheese either.

I noticed you just added a bunch of nice looking recipes at http://e-liquid-recipes.com/?filter=28997

Perusing the ingredients for Smoky Blue's Boston Peanuts recipe, I was personally disappointed I could not find Beer Nuts (FLV) as one of them.
They don't like Beer Nuts in Boston? :D

Brie cheese is the bombdiggity!! I love it!!
Hate to say it, but 4oz bottles don't last long here.. I am always experimenting.

I have a ton more to add too, Ron, so if you mix any, if you have everything to mix one, let me know what you think.
This is what is keeping me away, working with both flv and my flavor line. I love it.. keeps me out of trouble. :)

lmao at my boston peanuts.. try it out and see.. tinker with it.. I over vaped it and well.. :p and yes, over vaping is such a thing lmao!

Think I have maybe 50 more recipes to add.. keep your eyes out, I am hoping someone has all the flavors to mix these..

I'll be moving my single flavor mixes to those levels you suggest! Thanks!
At 3% it's waaaay too strong for me. It's vapable and rich but some Bitter chocolate notes become very noticeable.

With the other flavor additions I had previously mentioned, 3% of the Red Velvet was not too bad at all. It seems those bitter notes got calmed down by the "creams". All of those creams at the 1% level used (unfortunately for me) also reduced the cakiness textureal sensations I enjoy with this flavor.

While I did get a tad of buttery creaminess with the CAP Buttercream, it's 1% addition might not be enough.(for me)
The FLV Frosting was nice. It gave a nice light frosting flavor but it also added sweetness I felt was not needed.
The LA Creme Cheese Icing addition was the pick of the litter. It's slight sweet and lightly sour addition (from the creme cheese element...I guess :)) gave the overall vape sensation of real red velvet cake with creme cheese icing. Of the 3 creams, this one reduced the desired cakiness the least. I think when I make this again I'll go for 2.2% Red Velvet with .8% LA Creme Cheese Icing. Maybe:)

You might want to check out my recipe here for Cream Cheese Icing *stone*

http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/1904081/Cream Cheese Icing *Stone*

Mix it up just like it says to, and try a starting point of 2-4 drops. I wouldn't push it past 6 drops in 10ml.

I still have a few more recipes to upload.. As far as your red velvet cake.. I wish you a lot of luck.
I have yet to publish my rv cake.. Still working with beers and wines, but I hope soon. If I do, if you want to check it out, will post it up. :)

It looks great but I don't use much Cream Cheese icing flavor. I think I'm still working on a 10ml bottle I bought 3 or so years ago.

What is...*Stone* ?

@MysticRose I'm vaping the Coconut Macaroon in my favorite RDA the Aeronaut. I mixed it at 3% 30/70 3 mg. This is a perfect replication. Packed with sweet coconut shavings. The moistness from the condensed milk and eggs is just spot on. Baked to perfection ! Lol With my Surric X box mod I'm getting huge thick moist clouds full of deliciousness ! I'm sure this 30 ml bottle will be gone by dusk :D
I wonder why the photo on all the sites is of a macaron not a macaroon. From what I've read-
"The sandwich-like French macaron is more of a meringue cookie, getting its light, airy texture from a combination of almond flour and egg whites that have been gently folded together. The Southern coconut macaroon, on the other hand, is a hearty lump of sweetness made of shredded coconut and condensed milk."
402060_237955872948575_1696143258_n.jpg

I recently tried Inaweras coconut cookies and I like it alot. So Flavorahs Macaroon is really a coconut cookie? Cuz like I said the sites Ive been at have pictures of the top one in the pic.

It's really fun to play with FLV's Macaroon... it isn't like the cute sandwich, but if you add in some cream, it can be turned into the cute sandwich type.. I stick it in a ton of things, and have yet to get bored.. I do know to keep most all of my flv's down to under 1% as they just taste better, less steep time and really it turns into a flavor waste to overdo them.
