Made this two days ago and just tried it in the boreas. I had to edit the chocolate because I think my fa chocolate is no good.

This is outstanding and a keeper. Love it.

Thanks for the recipe.

This is VERY good! I made it this morning and vaped it all the way home from my Mom's, which is 40+ miles worth of vaping...lol! I can taste the crisp chocolate cookie on the inhale and even taste the creamy, confectioners sweet filling on the exhale...awesome recipe, thank you!

This sounds amazing ...but of course I'm missing one!
How important is Joy? I've heard these horror stories about it and haven't got the courage to try it

It's pretty important. Joy gives the fried bakery flavor that's needed to make the recipe what it is.

If you didn't want to buy it, you could try raising the percentage of zeppola a tiny bit. Might turn into a chocolate cookie donut though.

I meant to make two versions: one with Joy, one without, as I am one of those people who tastes Joy as stale beer

However, I flat out forgot and just made the one with Joy - to me was a little beery, but it didn't ruin it and it is not as strong this morning

And, I did squonk down half a 7 ml bottle last night

Nice job Myk

Yay! Hope I didn't make you regret your LA purchase

I don't get the stake beer taste from it and that probably why I didn't notice a difference in my steep test. Stale beer is better than no beer! Well, maybe not when it comes to eliquid haha.

Also, not sure if you made a typo (Myk), or if you know my real name.

No idea what your real name is, lol

In my head I actually pronounce it like: My Crane

Okay, made 100mls of this - it's going into rotation :)

Used half the Joy, although the stale flat beer taste did calm down overnight

Thanks My Crane

I'm a beer taster with Joy too, only keep out 5ml at a time to mix with. The rest stays in the freezer because it's always best mixed fresh.

I have to wait a whole year to eat these bad boys. I can only get them when the fair comes to town for the 4th of July. This is by far the best chocolate oreo recipe I've tried. You don't see very many of them, or at least I don't.

1% chocolate FA
1.8% cookie FA
1.5% cream cheese icing LA
0.6% joy FA
0.6% meringue FA
1.0% vanilla shisha INW
0.4% zeppola FA

f4fed9cf3229fec0fe946d24faa5c2a4.jpg

Being mostly FA makes this an amazing S&V!! I made a 10ml sample and had to make a 30ml the next day to allow steep testing. I thought at least the zeppola and joy would need a steep but I don't notice any change. I'm guessing because they're used in low percentages.

Enjoy!

The cream cheese icing.. Can it be subbed for anything? Like brie cheese flavorah + frosting flavorah..?

I haven't tried either of those so I can't speak from experience. I've heard good things about the frosting from Flavorah. If you wanted to try it, my guess would be to start around .5%

You might want to give Real Flavors Fried Dough Super Concentrate a try. It is what I plan to use in place of Joy when I eventually run out of my 2 x little bottles of Joy (which will be a long while as I use very little Joy and don't use it many recipes). It is a good bakery/dough flavor with none of those yeast notes in Joy.

I do have it from one of their sample sales but haven't mixed or tested it yet

it is definitely not the same as joy, but that can be a good thing. Here is one of the notes from ELR that describes it pretty well:

Mixed at 2.5%. After a week steep its a bit of a creamy doughy flavor. Pretty good. I can see this being used with French toast to give it more of a doughy type flavor. Slightly yeasty but in a good way.

I don't recall the yeasty notes but it was a loong time ago when I tested it and I don't have the best taste buds for picking out specific notes.

I've never had a deep fried oreo. One time a the state fair I got a deep fried snickers bar. That thing was really good. So I imagine deep fried oreros are pretty darn good too. Im gunna mix this up as soon as I have everything. I'm missing one important ingredient and its not LA's. I've never had FA-Chocolate. Infact I only have one chocolatey type flavor. It's CAP-Chocolate Glazed Doughnut. I use it in a recipe that I go through ALOT of. This looks really good though, thanks for sharing.

If you've never had chocolate, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. If you wanted to venture more into chocolate vapes, some must haves, in my opinion, are FA chocolate, FA cocoa, INW milk chocolate and TFA double chocolate clear.

A month! Damn, well at least I know the recipe holds up. Thank you!
I need to check the born on date, but it was about the 15th of last month if i recall correctly. I have over a liter of 30 and 60s in my steeping cabinet i would guess. It may have lost some of it luster, i can't say as this was my first time mixing it. It just got lost in the shuffle....

I finally made this Dec-21st. I tryed it out today while watching a movie. I had a fresh build in a Griffin22 (spaced 26ga SS316 coils). It was full of DFO. As I was paying attention to the movie (King Aurthur) I realized I was chain vaping the stuff lol! It's really good @Mykreign. I really like this flavor. I only made 15ML. I gotta whip some more up pronto.

You know I just ordered 44 flavors thinking I'm set for the next recipes I might find here. Of course as apparently everybody here I'm missing the LA lmao. Guess I have to wait till next month or just try it without! Maybe even throw some cinnamon in it instead of the icing. I now start to hate you too :)

Damn that's unfortunate lol. The LA is an important part that can't be left out or subbed.

Of course you can do whatever you want but it won't be the same. Unless you're one of those people that scrap the frosting off the oreo.

Of course but I don't think I want to wait a month lol. No worries I'll probably wait and then comment. Keep up the good work tho.

Tried this in a single coil flavor rda over the weekend and omg, it was soooooo good! I'm used to 100+ watt dual coils.

I wanted to see what it was like to be @JuicyLucy for a day and vape DFO on a single coil. Wow, what a difference in flavor.

Now if only i could get a satisfying hit from such low wattage.

yeah, it is a different sort of vape experience. I have been vaping nothing but single coils the past few months and rather enjoy it now but it took me a while to get used to it after putting away all the dual coil setups and dual/triple battery mods.

I'm guessing it's kind of like lowering your nic level. Just gotta do it and get used to it?

yep, I still do miss the bigger vapor/hits from time to time though and I was actually thinking about cleaning and rebuilding one of the boreas tanks the other day, that has been sitting/waiting to be cleaned for months, then I said to hell with having to deal with cleaning/wicking tanks again. I guess I am just a single coil squonkaholic now.

Single coil does not always mean tootle puffing. I build my single coil mech squonkers with 0.25 ohm fused Clapton's with air wide open in a Gorge or Hadaly. 70 watts is not tootle puffing... Tootle puffing to me would be a 1 ohm + coil with the air closed down tighter than a frog's ass. :giggle: That's the beauty of vaping, you can find what works for you and what works for you is what counts.

Thanks gopher. I'm going to try the Same build. Does the gorge get hot at that wattage when chain vaping?
