Rice Custard Pudding

I have a few different Rice Pudding mixes, but this is my favorite so far.

Sweet Rice(FE) 2.25%
Custard(INW) 2%
Fresh Cream(FA) 1.5%
Cinnamon Ceylon(FA) .3% (It's there, but it's not, if you know what I mean)
(steep 10 days, but try it after 3-4)
As an afterthought, I'm thinking the addition of .5-.75% FA or INW Vanilla Classic would work well in this mix.

Yes, the vanilla classic's work great in this recipe. I've been working on a recipe similar to this since I've first tried Sweet Rice a month ago, and FA's Classic is splendid in it. But you figured out the right percentage on the Rice with the Custard/Cream. I've been keeping it low, like 1% or less because it really stands out. So I was scared to go higher. But it seems to work out in this recipe. The 3 day steep is important. The custard will begin to layer with the Rice after 2-3 days, but I'm sure it'd better after a dark week of steeping. I was experimenting with Capella's Vanilla Custard, but in this case, INW Custard is probably better with an addition of Vanilla Classic. So good job man! DIYORDIE

I've tried it with CAPs VC at low %'s, but the VC is just too dark and heavy and won't let the light cream and rice come out properly. Still good with CAPs ,but not as good using INW custard. I agree with you 100%, mixing with FE Sweet Rice is definitely a balancing act, but well worth the effort.

Yeah, when I looked at it, I was like DAAAAAAIMN, that's a lot of rice. But it's not, it's freegin awesome!

And the VC, I just couldn't get it to where I wanted it. I was tasting either the rice, or the VC. This recipe doesn't do that. This is rice pudding. And that is what I was gunning for. So good bye Vanilla Custard, hello INW!

Thanks man! Here's what I like CAPs VC for.
Strawnana Custard

Shisha Strawberry(INW) 2%
Banana(FA) .75%
Vanilla Custard V1(CAP) 4%
Sweet Cream(CAP) 2%
(Needs 10 days but try after 1 week)

Hey, on that note, I have over 300 flavors, and never had the need to get Capella Sweet Cream (yet). I've always used DX Sweet Cream for all of my (and everyone else's) recipes that have sweet cream. Have you ever noticed a difference between Capella's and TFA's Sweet Cream (or anyone else)? Some say Hangsen or Flavorah is better, but I never found the need to get any other because the DX Sweet Cream works just dandy

I mostly use FA Fresh Cream and CAPs SC for my white creams. I think it all just a matter of choice. In fact, I feel they are interchangeable in most cases.

What sucks about all of this, is that I don't get VG until Friday, SO I can't make anything else until then :headbang:

But it’ll be so worth the wait.
That's ok, I finally busted out and made Bust-a-Nut for the first time last week. Loved it so much, that I made a ton of it. So I run that in my Limitless, and in my Smok tank, I run my Pecan Crunch, both of them I have like over 200ml, so I'm good. I have Cuttwood leak Unicorn Milk made up too, and FA Strawberry Cheesecake. Plendy vapin goin on here.

You are right, it will be worth the wait tho. Pretty anxious tho

Squonk’s Rice Krispies Treat, Yum! Just made a variation of Hic’s Jello Recipes, with Fa Juicy Strawberry & Caps Jelly Candy, @wllmc Game Over Custard, @Heabob Soft Vanilla Ice Cream Cone, Dinner Lady Lemon Tart original & clone, Mr. Meringue original & clone.
WOW! GOC? I wore it out. I have like 150ml sittin around for like 4 months now. Still, very good. I just put Squonk's Rice Crispies down. Good stuff! Sat around for a month, but seemed like it just got better and better and better. Maybe I'll put it back in mid week. I love that stuff

Please tell me you mixed one with some vanilla classic. Pleeeeese.
If you did let me know which(if any) you liked best.
Oops, forgot to tell ya
I used Fa Vanilla Classic @ .75% cause you said that Fa & INW were about the same. I figured the .75% was a good balance with Fa Fresh Cream @1.5%. I’ll try next time with the INW Vanilla Classic.

Finger test was Yum! I’ll definitely let ya know after the 3-4 day steep & again after 10 days.

You’re on fire with the yummmmmmms! :D

Ok, so here's what I did. I got my VG in today, and made the recipe but with 0.25% Rich Cinnamon, and with the 0.75% FA Vanilla Classic. Additionally, I made a second (Rice Pudding #2), same as mentiones but with 2% Bavarian Cream.

Thoughts on how both will turn out in a week?

I told my gf I was getting sweet rice and she said, “oh can you make me a rice pudding?” Perfect timing squonk. I’ll have to sub out the custard though.

IMO, you just will not be able to sub out the custard. It is vital in getting the proper "Rice Pudding" effect in the vape. But what do I know, I'm just a newbie

Well your Rice Pudding is now in my rotation. Judging by the way the spec recipe turned out with FA Vanilla, it's going to stay there. With that being said, the recipe with 0.25% Rich Cinnamon is awesome shake-n-vape. Very similar to spec. (shake-n-vape), but stands out a little more as a bold layer, and not that "there, but not there" effect you mentioned before (like eating real rice pudding should be, where you are eating rice pudding with sprinkled cinnamon, not a cinnamon stick). But still, it's a great vape if you like cinnamon in your juice. And it's crazy the way Rich Cinnamon stands out, but doesn't ruin a recipe. Rich Cinnamon is an amazing flavor IMO.
So I am stoked big time! :stars:

It turned out great so far, and can't wait for the 3 day (then 1 week) steep in.

In calculating this using Rich Cinnamon, 0.25% turned out to be 15 drops in a 100ml mix. But I'm thinking 0.15% would still good as a substitute to Cinnamon Ceylon to your Rice Pudding (0.15% turns out to be 1 drop/10ml). But honestly, it is still wonderful shake-n-vape with Rich Cinnamon (although the recommended 1 week steep is the best, so agreed on that for sure). I can imagine what it's gonna be like steeped in because Rich Cinnamon is such a stellar ingredient.

Either way, hat's off on this one whether you use Cinnamon Ceylon or Flavorah's Cinnamon. It is awesome, and has that "ooooh, that's good" effect when sharing. IMO, that's what makes it all worth it. Sharing with my friends a great vape. And this has got it going on!;)

I was going to initially but the flavor bug bit me so I ordered it. It’s on the way.

Ah, got it.
Dude, it's awesome, And well worth the wait for it to get in. I tried it with Caps VC, and it just doesn't cut it for this particular recipe.

I’m on day 3 of steeping & as suggested I sneaked a vape on my Pulse 22 rda. It’s Yum! :inlove: I’m sure after the 10 Days it will be phenomenal!

Take a small amount of your juice, 15-20ml, then add Cinn. Ceylon in equal amounts to FLV Cinn. According to HIC they complement each other. The FLV is a sweeter taste and FA is a deeper, truer cinn. I tried this with a recipe and the flavor is deeper and richer.

Oh, I get it. So the sweetness is what's making it seem to stand out more then to me. I personally like it better with the FA version. I would assume it's because the Sweet Rice is sweet enough. Whatever it is, the spec recipe is the bomb:bomb:

Oooh!
Got a great variant of Rice Pudding!
Make the original recipe as is, but added:
1 drop/10ml Flavor Revolution Banana Candy
1 drop/10ml Flavor Revolution Banana Ripe
The cinnamon is a very distant note, but seems to add the necessary body still.
The banana is a very distinct layer, not overpowering like most recipes seem to be. Very good
