Eleaf Ello .2 SS coils

I don't have the Ello tank. But I've read the coils for it are compatible with the baby beast tanks. My favorite for the BB is the plain .4Ω Q2 coils. I didn't know there was a SS316 coil out there that would fit in my BB tanks. I prefer SS wire for flavor usually.

I was wondering if anybody here has used the Eleaf HW1 coils. They are .2Ω, SS316. How do they perform? Can you compare them to the Q2 for flavor and coil life? Thanks.

I guess I'll just get some and report back for anybody interested.
Meg has the Ello, I don't remember if she's tried that coil yet. Just shot her a text. I'll let you know when I here from her.

I got a pack of them a while back. I should have considered the inner diameter of the coil. The Ello HW1's are too tight IMO. I can't get a decent draw from them. The airflow is pretty restricted. I didn't notice any flavor improvement. My first impression was, "This is a lot of metal for such a little coil". I should have looked at better photos.

I'll stick with the Q2's. They give me a perfect draw and good flavor.

I have the Ello tank on my Pico 25. When I first got it I ordered a bunch of the Eleaf HW1 coils for future replacement coils (not knowing any better). Boy did I waste my money! Very little flavor and difficult to draw on. I switched to the HW2s and it was a huge difference. Loads of flavor! I learned the hard way, though, that the cotton is so tightly packed in these coils that you have to let them sit for a long time in your tank after juice filling before you will get a decent hit with full flavor. When I replace them in my tank I always do it late in the evening and let the whole thing sit and absorb overnight. In the morning the hits are fantastic and wonderfully flavored. Also, before inserting the new coil I take a thin sewing needle or pin and poke a few holes down into the cotton...seems to help with the wicking.

Cool, yeah I really should have gotten the HW2,3, or 4's. The HW1's I got were just bad all around. Hardly any flavor for a day or two and then it it would get burnt. Like I said before the draw really sucked lol. I may try again with any of the others. I will use your tips if I get them. Thanks.
