Booked an eye test. Vision is okay, but I've been getting flashes like a camera flash in my right eye for probably a few months now. Never used to happen, so can only assume it's not meant to happen

Morning dog!

Yeah, don’t think that’s normal. Hopefully it’s nothing serious.

I'm glad you got checked Doggie :)
Yep. Apparently the gel in my right eye just sometimes lacks pressure on my retina, so it wobbles and I get a pseudo camera flash. No biggy, but he said once eyes are like that, it increases chances of tearing the retina.

There isn't enough coffee in the world.

First world problems I know but the landlords contractor is a pain in my ass. We moved in over a week ago and were told the bathtub had problems, they were going to start work on Monday and remove the old cast iron tub and give us a roll in shower.

The guy calls Monday and Tuesday, he's just waiting on parts and can't do anything really until he gets them. Wednesday says he will come at 8, shows up at 10:30 and destroys the tub and tile, drags it out of the house, and says he will be back after getting some parts he needs. This is maybe 2:30-3?

Calls Thursday, he got sheetrock but it got wet when it rained so now he has to replace it. And he's getting parts for a basement project he's starting next week so he will just pick up new sheetrock

Friday he calls and can't make it. Finally comes by around 5:30 to drop off sheetrock and says it's too late to start putting the shower pan in.

Saturday we had family plans and contractor had a wedding so wasn't going to make it. Says he will work all day Sunday.

Sunday got no call or text til after 4pm saying something came up and he can't make it.

Said he will be here Monday at 8 am which means probably not til 3pm if he comes at all.

All this to say I've been driving an hour every couple days so we can all shower at my mom's because of a project that should have taken 2-3 days tops.

I know I'm not paying this guy personally, but I'm at the point of more than pissed and don't think he's worth a dime. I could have watched YouTube videos and been done faster, it's not like I don't have plenty of diy experience.

/End rant

Haven't you heard? French baths are all the rage. Baby wipes and perfume

I’ve got a story for ya.
My son finally talked me in to trying out fly fishing. Seeing as how my wife loves to fish too, I had to buy two of everything necessary to take up this endeavor. Well, about $600 dollars later (just to get started), we look like a walking Orvis billboard. Now we just have figure out how to use all this crap.

Not a likeable post. Be careful of that retina. It is important. Anything you can do to prevent further problems?
