Looking for a new vape- noob to vaping

So, I bought a kbox mini-c about 6 weeks ago. It's my first vape mod, besides the kanger evod about 2 years ago. In the past 6/7 weeks, I've been cigarette free as well, but vaping ALL day, which has been a bummer on my batteries and coils... I go through one batter in about 1/2 a day. And have been changing coils about every 3 days or less. I also love how easy it is to change the coil in my tank, but I cannot control airflow.
I want to get a new device and possibly a tank, too, but am scared I won't like what i get. (I've tried the kangertech evod pro v2, but even opening the air flow all the way, I don't like how hard it is to take a pull)

Is there a mod and tank set that has easily changeable coils that won't burn in 2 days, a nice airy pull that I can change if needed, and has a battery that will last longer then 6-8 hours?

Have you thought about one of the new smaller mods with dual external batteries, like the Aspire Speeder?

For a tank, the Tobeco Super Tank Mini comes to mind, because it can use a wide variety of coils. Not the easiest tank to change coil, but comes with an Allen wrench to help, and the coils should last MUCH longer than 2 days. Can also use Triton and other Atlantis style coils.

Not sure I would get a pre-paired tank and mod set, but that's just me.

Yeah, it doesn't have to be pre-paired, but then I'm getting into having to make sure that whatever tank I buy will fit with the mod I get.... and I don't know these things yet:(. Plus, I'm planning on buying online, so I won't be able to hold and touch it to see if I like the feel of it... so I'm going to have to rely solely on others opinions.

My current one runs on one 18650 battery and the coils I use are ssocc 0.5 ohm. I also do not have temp control on the kbox mini-c.

I can't say enough good things about the Vaporesso Estoc Mega tank. The coils are about $1.60 each thru US vendor and closer to $1.10 thru China vendors. Coils are easy to change and flavor is good. The tank can be found for $15 bucks. I use the .4 ohm Clapton coils (no ceramic for the wicking, its just cotton) and run it at 42 watts. Good little cloud and pretty good flavor. Severely underrated considering the cost. 22 mm size tank that hold 4 mls of juice.

As for mods, its nice to have a 2 battery mod and I'm partial to the Voopoo Drag at about 55 bucks.

Good luck and let us know what you get.

+1 for the Tobeco Super Tank Mini. Vapes great at mid to lower wattages. I saw it on vapecrawler.com for less than $15.00. For a companion mod, I would suggest the Eleaf Ipower 80w. Internal battery can last 2 days on a charge, and has colors to match that Super Tank Mini. Nice small form factor with easy to navigate menu system. Vapenw.com has the Ipower 80w for 31 bucks with super fast shipping.

Wow, still been researching this for days, hours on end.... there are SO MANY options! How can i possibly choose?

I don't know what to do! I'm honestly anxious over this. If i buy something I don't like, I'm out that money.... and if I find something cheap enough online, am I getting a clone? I'm still not even experienced enough with this stuff to make an educated decision, and I probably wouldn't even be able to tell if what I bought was authentic or not.

I've been reading "best mods of 2017" articles on google... there's a bunch of them, I've been watching reviews on YouTube, hundreds of those too.... (been watching the guy from Indoor Smokers) I do like the looks of the Smok Procolor, I like having the option for all the different colors and being able to change the color of the light around the shield.... and the Smok G-priv 2.

This combo worked well for me until I moved on. I still use the mod.
The Pico is a strong good mod, Look at the Pico 25 so in the future you can put up to 24mm tanks on it.
As mentioned the Super tank mini is a great tank. Pretty well explained above.
This was a great combo and the mod will grow with you. Once ready you can install ArticFox firmware if you choose to do so and open up a world of options for your vaping experience.

And.... cost is a factor... so im searching dozens of sites for the best prices... ejuice connect seems to have the best costs, but falls into that too good to be true? category, and after reading various reviews on Reddit and here, I've found mixed opinions.... so idk what to think. Again, I don't want to dish out the $ and be disappointed and stuck with something I hate (I have twin 7 year old boys who have been nicknamed the bash brothers, so money is everything, lol)

iPower 80w at $31 is a good deal. Also, the dual 18650 battery Smoant Battlestar is a simple and durable device at the affordable price range, some recent sales around $38 on the Vapecrawler search engine.

If you have some vape shops go look at what they have. That way you can see how they feel, if you like how they are built and look. Then if you find one go back home and find it online and order it. That is the safest way I know how to tell what you are getting if you just don't want to go off the reviews.

The Chinese resellers have better prices, options, etc. Just remember it takes 3 weeks on average to get your order. (3fvape, fasttech, smokstore, etc.)
Much faster shipping but usually less inventory and a little more expensive from the US vendors. (101 vape, vapenw, misthub, etc.) I always check vapecrawler for best prices, and sometimes they have coupon codes for a nice discount. Good luck, and let us know what you get.

Haven't learned that choosing part. Sometimes it feels like I've been trying to try them all. For me vaping has become a fun little hobby. If something doesn't work for me then I pass it on to someone in need of vape gear but short on the means to obtain it.

Since you are familiar with the Kanger, might I suggest a Kbox 120 or 200. Dual 18650 batteries, huge wattage range, very reasonably priced, etc. From there all you have to do is pick your tank. My personal preference is for the Aspire Cleito. Good air flow for a nice loose draw, great flavor and again, very reasonably priced. Only down side to the Cleito is small tank capacity, only 3.5ml. But you can find tank glass with a bulge in the middle that increases the capacity to 5ml. Your call of course, but I'd check out the 120 or 200. Not pretty or racy, but affordable and a solid mod and tank combination.

Thank you! I have a co-worker who has the kbox 200... and that's how I originally found out about 2 batteties, lol! (I guess I'm sheltered)

The kbox 200 is the one I was originally looking into getting, but I've always had kanger (granted its only been 2 devices-the evod pen from 2 yrs ago, and the kbox mini I have now), and I was thinking about giving something else a try. I like the bells and whistles, I like the lights and color options. I know I can find skins for practically any mod I buy, but Idk, not the same to me. I also like the puff counter, that seems like it would be beneficial, knowing how many puffs until I need to change my coil. Right now, my average coil lasts me 2 days... I've read about poking a hole in the cotton to help, and it did help once, but the second time I tried it, the cotton pushed into the center of the coil, and it was funny for the 3 days I had it in.
I need more battery power, that's the first issue, and something that has coils that will keep my flavor longer... I'm at 1.5 days on my current ssocc coil and it' already losing flavor, though looking in the coil, there's very minimal burnt cotton. So, idk... I guess I'm sensitive to the flavor.

Ultimately get what appeals to you. We all have different tastes. IF you don't like it the less likely you will be to use it. Hell if your like many of us you will not stop at just one. We all seem to be on the quest to find "the one". I personally have mods ranging from regulated with fancy lights, regulated mods with fancy side panels, regulated with just a plain pain job, mechanical tubes, and mechanical boxes and I vape and enjoy them all for various reasons. In the end they all do the exact same thing. Turn juice into vapor so we can get nicotine.
