Tank Recommendations

Looking for recommendations for a new sub ohm tank. I'm a flavor chaser, so flavor is everything for me, clouds are nice, but not a priority. My preference is for a nice warm vape, but not hot. I prefer a relatively loose draw, and lean more towards DL than MTL. I usually prefer to vape in the lower watt ranges, right around 35 to 45. And my biggest pet peeve with any tank is spitting. A tank that spits raw juice will piss me off to no end. Any suggestions appreciated. Oh and my current mod is a Kanger Kbox 200. Don't really need the watts, I run it for the extra battery life.

I would suggest the Aspire Cleito tank, it has a coil that will run at the watages you desire and while it does give decent cloud the flavor is outstanding. I am a retired chef so like you I am a flavor chaser and the tank beats out most of the others I have tried.

Look at the Asvape Cobra. It is a awesome little tank. Coil life on it is outstanding.

LOL- I second the Asvape Cobra Tank! Great tank, lower watts, great coil life and no spitting or gurgling, also great flavor!
Tobeco Super Tank Mini is another good tank with many coil options!
I also like the Freemax Pure Ceramic tank and coils- no leaking, spitting or gurgling- great flavor and super long lasting coils!

P.S.-
I have used all of these tanks and these are some of my favorite factory coil tanks!

I have been seeing this tank being brought up more and more again. It is a great tank also! Nice to see it getting some love. LOL
Tobeco STM has been one of my favorites!
On the Asvape Cobra-
I just wish that down the road, these coils will be easier to find! Right now the only place I seem to be able to get them from is VaporDNA- great price there, but many times they are sold out when I need to order, so next order will be 5 boxes, just to make sure I have enough coils for these awesome tanks! Maybe Asvape will make an RBA section for the Cobra- Would be great if they did!

I won my Cobra, so when I was talking with them they said at that time there was no plans for a RBA deck. I hope that has or will change.

LOL- I won my Cobra too, the Black! But I bought my other 2 in SS and the Gold- that is how much I love these tanks!
Too bad about the RBA! I just have to make sure I have enough coils in my stash !

If you are not rebuilding, the Vapefly Fantasy Mini is probably the best non-rebuildable in that power range. Unfortunately, no store in the US sells replacement coils yet since it is a new company. One US company sells 0.6 Ohm replacement coils for the Vapefly Nicolas but that probably is too low power for you.

The Cobra is a Rebuildable Tank Atomizer and looks like a good choice for rebuilders.

My favorite rebuildable tanks are single coil RTA's
Love the OBS Nano and the OBS Crius ll - both are very easy decks and wicking! The Nano doesn't leak and has pretty good flavor.
If you are not confident to wrap your own coils you can buy the Demon Killer Kit- very easy to find which you like from this kind of kit!

The Asvape website lists it as a RTA. Good to know it will also take factory coils
LOL- don't know why they(Asvape) are calling the Cobra an RTA- there is no rebuildable section- just factory coils only!
That is what we were discussing above- it would be great if Asvape made a rebuidable section for the Cobra as these coils may be hard to find in the future!
I have and use 3 of these tanks- and there is only a factory coil option, no rebuildable- but I hope that they do make a rebuildable deck or coil in the future as this is an awesome tank!

I don't know why either but look for yourself.

That is just odd, I am sure it probably caused them to loose sales. Not everyone wants to build.
Especially low to medium power vapers.

The Digiflavor Siren 2 is great for MTL vapors that want to rebuild but at least that seems to be a pure RTA. The Cobra takes TV8 coils from Smok so you'd think it would advertise it better.

Is there such a coil as the TV8?

Um, typo. TFV8.

Baby coils I assume? Hmm I’ll try this when I get home later mind you with this little tank it’s gonna get bloody hot with a T8 in there it’s designed for low wattage vaping really something like X4 or Q2

Looking at the cobra coil though I don’t reckon it’ll fit at the top it’s too narrow

Cool if it works though

I'm glad typos give you creative vaping ideas. Let me know how your misinterpretation of my typo works out for you as an actual vaping plan.

Another vote for the Asvape Cobra. Two thumbs up!
Especially after having to go to You Tube and watch an unboxing to get the Cobra out of that box! LOL!!!!
Then to be able to get the tank apart to clean and then prime the coil, man that tank is put together so tight- but all in all a great tank! Worth the effort!

I'd say baby beast with X4 coil, or the cleito exo with 0.4 coil. The original cleito spits so I cannot recommend it but the cleito exo improved upon that and also made it leak proof.
Also the super tank mini mentioned is tried an tested, great flavour.
You might also look at the atlantis evo with 0.5 coil. It vapes great at 30-40 watts so might suite you well.
Get the kit with the extender that'll make it 4ml though. The standard kit is the 2ml version an it's quite a thirsty tank.
It's not like smok thirsty but still something to keep in mind.

I haven't tried the asvape cobra so cannot comment for that

Might have to try this, it's getting alot of love! I mostly use RTA'S but I like pre mades for when I don't wanna build

I really think you would enjoy the Cobra if you are a lower wattage vaper and more on the DL vaping! Go through some of the reviews here in VU - this tank gets great love! Really nice long lasting coils and no spitting or gurgling or leaking or mouth full of liquid! Love the lower profile tanks too!

I vape from 30-70 watts. Just depends on mood. Sometimes I like a really long draw at 35/40 watts & sometimes I like to vape at a higher wattage. Even vape at 10 watts MTL sometimes. I like a variety :)
But this cobra looks great. I've also heard that the nichrome coils do pretty good TC.
I've not tried them type of coils properly so a change would be good!

LOL- Wow

I was wondering how you are liking the Asvape Michael? Does your battery cover rattle? That is the only con I could find with mine!
Use my Michael Stab daily and I love this mod!

I really think you would like this tank- I believe the Ni 80 can only be vaped in wattage -power mode and I vape this tank between 27-30w- but the flavor is really good! But I like the Ni80 metal- my OBS Crius ll came with an installed Ni80 coil and the flavor is excellent on that RTA! Never vaped Ni80 until I used the Cobra and Crius ll- very nice!

I tried to re build the stock pre made coil but failed miserably...the casing is really difficult to remove without damaging it

Did I hear right you haven’t actually started vaping yet or did I misentepret that as well?

First you try to grammar/typo troll. That didn't work so now you are trying the red herring logical fallacy. When that fails as well, you can try full on, ad hominem, flaming.

I'm also gonna throw it out there for the Smok spiral. That's a low wattage tank that people don't seem to mention alot!
I'm vaping as we speak at 30 watts :)

The 0.3 coil has best flavour but I use the RBA with some fused claptons

@KingPin! is a sweetie and a great reviewer too! He is an asset to VU and I always look forward to his comments and recommendations and reviews! He has helped me many a time and is a vaper that uses vape products so I trust his opinions!
I don't think he is attacking you- you are way too defensive- and giving out recommendations when you yourself are not a vaper and have never used the products you are suggesting is well- just odd! I know Anthony is a great reviewer too and another helpful sweetie and you are citing his recommendations, but it is nice when you yourself use products that you can recommend!

Them two are the only reviewers I use and I haven't a bad word to say about them!
I was a total dick with anthony recently but that was due to my mental health being unstable.
I don't think should be targeted when they are trying to help.

I'm sure Kingpin is good reviewer. I understand calling out a typo and how he interpreted it was quite amusing. I thought it was a friendly jab so I gave one back in what I thought was good fun until that last post that like you in this post, is playing the experience card or similar to pulling rank.

If not sharing information that is learned from other sources that someone has no experience makes others happy, then fine, I'll do that despite lots of thumbs up and posted appreciation at times for it and it only applying to me but if someone hits, I hit back. That is the way I have always been. It works for the president and it works for me. If it gets be banned, so be it. I am not changing my personality even if I could.

I actually defended Anthony against attacks on his reputation and he gave me lots of thumbs up for it.

If calling out people's bullshit makes one a troll, sad but common.

I didn't say your a troll, just seems to be too many of them about atm.
I misunderstood your humour that is all.
I have aspergers syndrome so sometimes I take things literal. I've not a problem with you, I don't know you enough to even judge. Turns out things got blown out of proportion that's all. I see you are a relatively new member. Hope you are enjoying the site

@Kranky Kanger have you decided on a tank yet?? :) it's worth getting something with an RBA in case you end up building.
Imo you can't really beat the flavor on the crown 3 but seeing as your a low wattage vaper it's out of the question.
I'd go with cleito exo with a 0.4 coil but for pre mades nowadays I seem to use the baby beast more. It's a thirsty tank even at 30 watts but I just love the X4 coils

I wasn’t picking up your grammar it was a genuine question as I wasn’t sure if there was a new coil I wasn’t aware of, you just launched back? ...I’d be the last person to pick up on grammar half my posts contain spelling or grammatical errors including this one!

I also went on to say I would try it when I got home and that it would be cool if it worked ....and you managed to somewhere out of that take offence and launched?

I could understand calling out typos if it made significant confusion. I'd be a hypocrite if I said that was wrong. I'd do the same.

It was only the last post about not yet vaping that I interpreted as being defensive that I did a little bit. The one before that, I thought was amusing.

I didn't think you'd seriously try that. I thought you found my typo so funny that you couldn't hold back so you had to post. I thought it was to.

If it is a serious idea that you will actually try, oh please do let me know how that works out. I don't need to tell you to be safe doing so as I'm sure you are far more capable of that than me.

Good luck!!!

This new member asked about a tank then just seemed to of disappeared.

I've just compared the cleito supertank mini and baby beast side by side if your reading this an it's a close tie between the cleito an supertank. The baby beast seems to bring out the watermelon in my juice but I don't taste any strawberry. I think the baby beast makes the juices overly sweet too. It's also just burnt out an ive had this x4 coil for 3 days.
The super tank mini coil has been going for 3 weeks an the cleito for 3.
They both definitely have the best flavour for a tank and I've tried pretty much every one you can think of.

I think Freemax fireluke & crown 3 are better but I vape them at 70 watts.
30-40 watts go with the cleito. I've gone through 40ml of juice today in tanks an the cleito beats them all. I think cos the juice goes straight through the coil into your mouth that flavour is amazing
