Hello everyone,

I find myself linked to this forum when searching answers to my many random queations about vaping and sobdecided to finally join. I plan to lurk here about ten hours per day, and hopefully be foind once in awhile by my new friends aha.

Honestly though, the two introduction threads confuse me, so I'll leave my introduction as is, considering I didn't click the one to tell my story. ;) :p

Aha right!! Glad to hear I'm not the only one confused here. :)

Welcome to the forum.

Feel free to post while you're lurking :)

But that wouldn't be lurking though?? Aha in all seriousness I likely will be asking questions, ingesting in building and mixing, however unsure if I will actually ever start. Am still very new to vaping...

Thank you for the welcome. Aha I know so silly. Iono I am very sure there is a reason for it. However maybe it was created and has meant to be removed, but just slipped through the radar.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. Aha it appears that I have not done a very good job lurking, (not posting) so I guess I should change my quest here to post as much wonderful content as possible, make new friends, and become a vaping master, like a pokemon master, something like that, whatever, really just too great of a community to just lurk.

That is what I have been doing for about a month now since I won't be able to afford $100 for vape gear until at least Black Friday while having to also spend $300 on a new phone and a husband that also probably needs to put a down payment on a truck.

Beware of people on this site that might start harassing you for having the audacity to get too involved in vaping conversation without owning anything. Just posting a heads up warning from experience.

Omg I did not realize how many spelling errors are in my original post, this is why I never use my cellphone for anything other then random browsing on the Internet. For right now, I am only browsing threads that have anything to do with vaping without contributing too much, mostly just posting in non vape related threads and learning as I go. I do have a mod, honestly having a lot of troubles with it aha, likely will break soon and I am not really sure when I will be able to get another if I even should. I have only been vaping for like month and a half?? Still very new. Though I am very silly, I just vape 0mg, was lucky enough to quit smoking rather quickly after switching, but kept vaping for the *hand to mouth* but eh I likely shouldn't even be vaping, however I enjoy it despite the costs sometimes.

As for your mod, I really hope you can end up getting one soon, black Friday is soon so hopefully then?? If not, just remember other things are more important, like your phone, and a vehicle. However, thank you for the heads up. ^

Oh, you are welcome for the heads up.

You are the first person to specifically post that a phone and truck are more important. I can't thank you enough.

From the feedback I've been getting, if you are looking for a simple, durable, and reliable mod, the Pico 75 seems to be a popular choice for a single 18650 battery, VW mode mod with the Pico 25 for TC mode. The Smoant Battlestar and Charon TC (but not TS) seem to be the best for dual 18650 especially the Battlestar which Anthony Vapes lists as the very best dual 18650 mod for VW and the third best behind two expensive and complicated DNA mods for TC. The Charon TC is another mod that ranks only slightly lower but needed if you wish to program your own power curve since Battlestar doesn't do that. The Battlestar is ergonomic and one of the most portable dual 18650 mods out there.

It appears that Anthony Vapes never tested the Pico 75 but it does get wonderful site feedback. He did test the 25 and that is the only VW single 18650 he lists. Single 18650 TC he lists as (coming soon) and I don't have any forum feedback on good single battery TC mods.

What?? I am the first person to tell you those things are more important?? A vehicle is of course important you need it for work, doctor visits, laziness ;) and a phone is just as important these days. Children require a lot of coordination, you need to be able to communicate, and communicate to again doctor visits, schools, hubby. As I am new here, and have only seen you around a couple of time so far, I am unsure if you smoke cigarettes, or if you are simply interested in vaping, but I am very happy that you are one who realized priories in her life, I certainly fail at that sometimes aha. :)

Anyways to be honest with you, I only understood a tiny bit of what you said aha, I am soooo sorry. I am very new to this, got a very simple mod when started, a stick, and moved to as I mentioned, alien, almost too complicated. Just in the last few days I have learned A LOT because something keeps happening. I have been looking for like a news/review website to keep an eye on a variety of mods rather then just a few. I know what TC is, know nothing about it though as I do not have a coil that can do TC, what is TS?? I also do not know what VW is? I have an idea, but iono. I was considering getting the new Eleaf mod, but won't have the money in time, as I just bought a new tank, that for some reason tastes burnt right now. Like I bought it, the batteries I had weren't good enough, so had to get new ones, now it just tastes burnt. This was after I tried to use it on TC mod, (which might be why it's burnt??) and after accidentally unscrewing it and draining all of the juice all over my mod. Anyways I am rambling. Thank you so much for your suggestions, i will look into them.

I am so sorry for posting beyond what you currently know. VW means volt/watt or power mode which is how most people, especially beginner s vape. TS means Touch Screen.

Smok has had many quality control and even safety issues so I'd avoid them.

I'm sure most people in the world would obviously agree on my priorities but product fan sites tend to place the product above all else at times. Some more obnoxious than others.

Let me know if you are thinking single battery or dual. Single obviously has the most portability.

It is very much okay I will learn them eventually. Yeah I was planning to switch from Smok but unsure, too far in the future to really know at the moment, I was interested in Eleaf.

As for product fan sites I did not really take that into consideration, that does make sense, anything for a sale. Just be you, get one as soon as your life allows, and continue to educate yourself and others like me who are new to everything. It certainly does make the experience more enjoyable and comprehensible with someone helping you through all of it. I just sort of decided I wished to quit smoking, asked hubby if I could have a mod, went from there, learning as I go, and as things break aha, it is wonderful. So thank you for taking the time to help me.

So as I said I usually do not vape very often, between 20-30 draws a day?? So really a single or double should be fine, as in last 3-5 days or so in either case. I think for at the moment, I am most interested in a dual battery mod, or something with variable wattage, the tank I have suggests 95-125W so would need a mod capable of that. Though as stated, not sure where I will be in a year from now.

Oops, I meant to say VW meant variable wattage. Brain freeze on that one.

If you plan to vape at that power level, then you will need at least a dual mod. Not sure how important portability is to you since you said you don't vape much.

I plan to quit slowly with a transition window where I'll be both smoking and vaping. It will have to wait until I am financially ready.

Mhm portability is not a huge issue, as honestly I rarely take my mod anymore, sits in my closet when not in use aha. Oh and as for mods, I have been looking at the Smoant website, not in much detail, but have glanced there several times. I bookmark the manufacturers I think are good, and when it comes time to buy a new mod will look through them.

Oh quit slowly, heard that is the best way. I wish you very much luck in quitting and remember not to give up. So a little story of me trying to quit. I bought a Vuse Vibe, and was using that instead of smoking, it worked well, I quit smoking cigarettes in favor of that, however whenever I used it about one or two weeks later, my teeth would begin to hurt, I would need to get them pulled. So I did that like twice (not learning my lesson here) eventually I was like, may I have an actual mod lol, and so got the V8 Stick. I was a pack a day smoker for around sixteen years, yes very young. I got 1.5mg of nic, vaped that for around three days, it started making me sick, and I just kicked the habbit, and switched to 0mg and continued to vape, if only for the "hand to mouth" addiction. Then as I said previously, my vape experience is not going super well, so may end up just giving up everything.

Which speaking of vaping at 0mg, I read a thread here yesterday, that it seems a lot of people here do not advise vaping if you have zero nic, just seemed sort of odd to me, though they make valid points. The reason I continue to vape is it is enjoyable, I enjoy the flavors, and it is relaxing, despite no nic. Sorry rambling again. :(

Since you have more experience than me, I don't think I have much in regard to the personal aspects of vaping to say much about that. I can only give feedback and analysis of other information I read.

Anthony Vapes seems to be the closest thing to mods and attys what Mooch is to batteries since he tests the modes of each mod he reviews. Anthony to Mooch isn't a very good analogy but I guess Anthony is the closest thing. There are plenty of mods that he hasn't tested and I have no idea what criteria he uses to rank different products but if his list helps, the link to his most recent one is below:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1c4MZ2xYBE-1-0A6rLYY46OHtzHCM-roJINpxghmhzXM/htmlview#

The Battlestar can be bought for less than $40 so below is a picture of one in someone's hand just to give a size comparison. Since portability isn't an issue for you, do consider other mods and attys. Maybe Anthony's list helps; maybe it doesn't. It might give you ideas as to what to look at even if you disregard his ranking orders that the basis for is unknown.
