Imo the only good flavor coils for a single coil atty on there are the aliens and they are sold out. I personally like a ribbon core coil for flavor though. For me a 5 wrap framed staple is the way to go in a single coil tank.

If I had to pick some from that page though, I would go with the 30g vertebraid 5 or 6 wraps.

My go to from AVS is the tri core fc 30gx3/38g 3mm 5 to 7 wraps. I like to keep all 3 (5,6,7 wrap) to change it up a bit. Those are for rta's. For rda staggered fc 2.5 and 3mm 5 wrap.

I recently received 15 ft of 30 quad core with 40 wrap, and the 30 triple with 38. They both are well made and clean. They're both easy to wrap, but the quad core is stupid easy. I've never wrapped a coil so easily and neatly as with those. I'll be getting all my wire from them.

If I'm going for flavor there is nothing better than building with flat wire or twisted wire. Imo side by side I get way better flavor using flat twisted, hive, quad twisted 30g wire.

I actually don't really like Claptons. They look so cool but I've found that they take too long to ramp up. Twisted and flat wire different builds variations give me personally the best flavor without compromising vape production.

I don't know why people say good flavor not good for clouds. I think this is said because super low ohms kind of mutes flavor.

.3 to .8 ohms cloud and flavor happens because of good vape production. If it's not producing vape will enough it's not going to give a burst of flavor like it would had it had the cloud production.

Why does a lower ohm build mute flavor?

It doesn't, you just have to do it right ;)
I build from 0.6 all the way to 0.18.

Currently I am vaping fused claptons in a spiral RBA at 0.3 ohms.

I couldn't choose a good coil for flavour cos there's just so many!!

I find fused claptons are just good all round and they are simple to build if I feel like tinkering but recently I've just been getting pre mades!!

I don't make clapton wire. Not into the tinkering side of things, also probably couldn't see the damn wire.

Quite often I hate tinkering too hahaha. I just wanna vape and not have to mess around. You need the patience of a saint too!!!

I think it can**

What I should have said is excessive heat mutes flavor and alot of times when I build low it's very hot throughout the atty.

When using smaller higher gauge wire it doesn't heat the atty like thicker wire would and dissipates the heat a little better.

Not all the time. This is something I've noticed. I think for flavor I like 26-34 g wire. More crisp taste. Everyone's different and I could be completely wrong and Tarded.
