Is high VG level flooding my atomizer?

Hey all, so recently i bought an Aspire Pegasus mini/Triton mini tank combo as a carry around mod as its small and looks great! But recently my coils have just been getting so saturated they're gurgling and not producing and vapour or vaporizing at all, I changed to a 70VG/30PG juice and am wondering if its causing my problems cause when i ran higher PG it would crackle away with good flavours.
1.8 ohm kanthol coil @16 watts is the setup I'm having trouble with.

I can't see higher vg levels being the problem here. It's much more viscous than pg and you tend to have under saturation instead of over saturation. Have you checked all of the seals to make sure there isn't a break or anything wrong there? Also there's a trick of filling the tank, closing it, turning upside down and opening the air flow to allow air bubbles out for the kayfun that might help.

Is there a reason you haven't gone back to higher pg juice that worked? 1.8 coils are generally designed for higher pg blends. I would suspect your coil cannot vaporize the the higher vg effectively.

I prefer higher vg, I also tried a .15 ohm temp coil at 240 degrees Celsius (460F) and it done the same thing, ill try higher PG to see if that narrows it down.
