I'd like to buy a dual battery mod for a good friend of mine for Christmas. He really needs a dual battery mod (only has one mod and its a single). He mainly vales 40-50 watts. I'd like something that's 55 bucks or less and then hopefully get a discount code.

One thing I know is he is rough on his possessions so I need something that is tough. Main criteria is tough, dual battery and 55 bucks or less. Thanks for any recs.

Tesla nano steampunk is durable as hell. If 120 watts is enough it would suite him very well. It's super easy to use too.
Also smoant battlestar is durable too and fits that price range.
I prefer my minikin V2 but that costs like $40.00 more than these two

Thanks gang. I went ahead and got a Battlestar. Which I would've had a little more time and could've bought from GearBest but with shipping times running 4 weeks that was cutting it too close. We will see how the Battlestar holds up to his abusive ways.

I drop my mods alot and it's barely gotta mark in it. It performs really well too.
I like wismec type shaped too so the ergonomics are perfect for me!

I own a battlestar and it's a definitely solid mod. Had it for over a year, and while it has taken more than a few hard drops, it's held up fine, and is still used in heavy rotation. One thing I noticed is that every time I dropped it, it severely dented in the positive contact on one or both of my batteries, making em pretty much unusable for normal purposes. So far, its eaten about 3 brown lg's and a couple of sony vtc5's :/
