Got the kit on the way, I've watched many mixed reviews, a lot about it being underpowered, then I watched another review last night by someone who's not as well know as the big time reviewers, down to earth guy and he said pretty much don't believe them, it's not underpowered. Figured I'd give it a shot

Same here,i have read and heard many mixed reviews,so i figure the only way i'll know for sure is to get one and try it.I had 1 on pre order, but cancelled because the date kept getting pushed back, since it is out now,i'll be ordering one in a few days.

Underpowered is a good word for it - using mine at 25 watts - it's okay, but doesn't compare to my little mechs

The bottle door is janky on mine - it stays on but very loose and makes noise

Have not used the stock attie -

Only paid $41 for mine - would have felt ripped off if I paid a dime more but it did come with a battery, which is nice and the 18650 converter does work on it

I got one today, won it. I have never used a squonker before, but the way everyone raves about the flavor from them, I am disappointed. I built a .50 ohm dual coil, and to me I get much more flavor from my tanks. Any help would be appreciated. I have tried adjusting the wattage to different settings, but the flavor just isn't there when compared to other atty's I've used.

try building a lower ohm coil? The reviews I watched all said you basically need to build it low like you would a mech if you want a warm saturated vape. I only just got into mechs/squonkers and have been building between 0.25 and 0.3 and enjoying the vape but I want to try going lower now that I have some fresh vtc5a for my boxes.

What wattage do you vape the lower ohm coils at?

I don't have a capo squonk. All my squonks are mechs. On a dual or triple battery regulated mod with a tank I vape 0.15 in the 70 - 80 watt range.

I only watched a few reviews of this but they all said it is buck, not boost, so higher ohm builds won't vape well regardless of the wattage adjustments. IIRC one of the reviews said ijoy told hom to build 0.10 - 0.15 for best results. 0.15 draws 25 to 30 amps so obv make sure you have a good high amp battery.

Will do, thanks!!!!

Built a dual coil that came out to .20 ohms, better, but still not as much flavor as my tanks.
Don't get me wrong, I like it, but I like my other setups better.
I'll fool around with it over the weekend and decide whether to keep it or give it away.

It's not the mod, it's an atomizer issue.

I haven't bought a squonk atty in about a year, been using the best from the past. Marquis, Stumpy, NarDa, NoName, etc, etc.

Recommend a better atomizer please, less expensive the better:) (spent a lot on Black Friday)

What kind of vape you like?

Double coil, single, lots of air, DL, restricted, MTL, big deck, 16mm, 25mm....

Lots of great choices these days without having to break the bank :)

I just popped on a Hotcig X Rig Mod RSQ 80w with a Drop RDA that are on the way. I'll report back how that worked for me, if anyone knows about that RSQ I'd appreciate it. Reviews were kinda thin so I took a flier on specs and looks.

Dale's suggestion of the Goon is excellent for those requirements - one of my longtime favorites for sure

The Dead Rabbit by Hellvape is getting a lot of praise from vapers whose opinions I trust - and also meets those requirements - plus is less money

The Druga by Augvape is also a great choice for not a lot of dough - really love this one

So I went against the reviews and picked up one of these, not bad really, running the coils that come with the kit in the pulse 24, just gotta build below .2 ohms...now I’ve gotta find a dual coil build around .15 so I can change out the coils eventually....any suggestions?

28g dual core or 28g tri core fused SS wire from advanced vape supply. 3mm coils will probably need 5 wraps to get to around 0.15 ohms and is super clean wire.

I’ve been experimenting with some 26n80/36k fused Clapton , the resistance does read high on the device I’ve got a 3mm 3 wrap in it right now reading a .14, vapes good

What tanks are we comparing to what dripper/BF atties...... because there more to flavor production than wattage and coil OHM.
When comparing atomizers you also have to consider airflow differences path and volume, then theres chamber size and shape, deck size big difference between a 15mm deck and 22mm, thats a lot of air capacity, heck even the ID of the driptip can CHANGE a flavor.
Then theres the wire..... You can build a .5ohm or .2 or .1 dual coil using about many different sizes or grades of wire. some of which will vape at 5 watts and others that need 200 watts. of course the 5watt build might do well in the 200watt attie, and the 200watt coil in the 5watt attie would likely cause the juice to flash.

Try modeling and building some coils using steam-engine.org.

Stock Capo (triangle RDA came with Capo), compared to Innokin Scion tanks.
I have some clapton wire on order, also a Pulse 24 RDA (slow boat from China) on the RDA
I will mess around with all of them when they arrive.
The coils I am currently using are round Kanthal 26 gauge.

Dual Fused Clapton 26n80/36k with 2.5 inner and 3 wraps reading .12/.13 is the best Vape I’ve found on the capo so far...great flavor and descent vapor, I’m more of a flavor chaser

Its not that bad. You just have to build right. However dont get it as a kit with the Combo rda. Get something that can do singlecoil and dualcoil. I stick with my good old goon.
Edit: here is a picture of my setup. I need new coils cause 0.3 is too much, as it seem. My Goon 1.5 is a clone, I once saw it and instantly got it when I saw that it is acrylic and I fell in love with it.

If 0.3 is too much, what do you recommend ?

Ijoy recommends building .1-.15 and I agree with my efforts, don’t exceed .2 it won’t have near enough power unless you’re doing single coil wich I haven’t done or like for that matter

The mod itself is weak in single coil mode at well above .2 ohms -

I just got my capo squonk in today and I also got a dead rabbit to pair with it instead of the included rda.
So far I really like the device its my first squonker I am sure I will have to experiment with some builds to see whats gonna work the best.
I put a single fused clapton in it reading .46 and vaping @ 45 watts and im getting a good vape. I'm not a high wattage vapor or cloud chaser so I think the capo is gonna work well for me.

It is not like you dont get any vapor at 0.3 it still makes too big clouds for my taste, but the problem is the ramp up time... it takes like 4 seconds with cool coils until anything starts to happen. Also you go through your battery fairly quickly at this rate.

I picked one up a couple of days ago and so far I'm digging it. It's simple like me.Got the kit as the b&m didn't have the mod only. Kit had the triangle RDA. I think the first kits came with a different RDA. This one reminds me of the Mad Dog with the airflow. Flavor and vapor production is terrific (for me) on a dual .2 running between 61 and 70W.

Just received mine yesterday. There is going to be a steep learning curve for me as I haven't squonked since about the time the ego 1000mah batts were new. If I recall I was using HH357s and making my own mods.(Pretty primitive stuff).
Overall The Capo 100 functions fine, battery life is short, I put a pair of aliens about .19ohm in the supplied rda. Eeh... Not as much flavor as the original limitless rdta or the Alpine rdta. Was able to run juice down the side of the mod several times though. I guess the RDTAs have spoiled me.
I think I am going to enjoy getting back into squonking, just need to get a cheapo mech squonker, find a vendor for mech mod parts, and build something stupid.
